One blazing hot day,Lucy and her black and white dog , Spot went strolling in the park,Lucy had blonde hair, she was very young and she never let down her bright smile. They had enjoyed it so far, but as it was a hot day Lucy and Spot were getting very tired and decided to go home.

As soon as they got home Spot started acting a bit out of order! ”Spot you dumb dog, what on earth are you doing”Complained Lucy
    ”Bark Bark” Said Spot
”Oh yes now I remember, you buried your bone here, ummm , it was under the apple tree,go spot go”
And she threw a stick to the tree, but as soon as Spot dug the bone out ,and started chewing on it it some thing peculiar happened ………..
    Spot started to talk!!!
Lucy felt a shiver down her spine, had she gone mad?

”woof woof,Lucy i am starving ”Said Spot in a muffled voice,”are you gonna get me food or not”
Lucy felt herself falling, falling, falling then blackness!

The first voice Lucy could hear was her mum’s.
”Lucy dear are you alright”whispered the mum
”I’m fine its just that i heard Spot talk and…..”

”Stop there sweetheart, I know you’ve banged your head and now your saying very strange things…..I’m wondering if I should take you to the doctors or not”

Today was the strangest day of my life. On one chilly morning, I strolled along the greasy path leading to the field were me and my dog were going to warm up. It was some time before I got ready and my dog was becoming inpatient. Suddenly, the dog started to mutter. As it was windy, I couldn’t hear it clearly but I managed to understand what he mentioned. “Tom, be quick I’m shivering.”
My mind went blank, how can a dog talk? It was impossible!
As the excitement grew bigger I decided to go to mum and tell her the fabulous news.
    “Mum, my dog can talk.”
‘What!’ screamed my mum in a deafening voice feeling frightened. Without wasting time, I showed mum how my dog can talk and she was amazed.
As days past by, the news were spread out rapidly and soon we were in the book of “Weirdest animals ever!”

  3. Archie says:

It was a dusky and gloomy night, all was calm , then suddenly the berry bushes started to rustle. A strange stump popped out from the ground but it wasn’t a stump it was a head! The head belonged to a tiny man who began leaping around the garden! Then some more of them arrived, all in a variety of colours, ruby red, ocean blue, grass green and gleaming yellow. Slowly they carried a sleeping puppy over to a giant scorpion shaped space ship and whizzed off spraying molten lava from the back of the engine. Then they went into light speed and arrived at their destination as quick as a flash. Slowly the tinsy men carried the poor petrified and shaking dog into a giant glass container. They aimed an enormous beam at the pup and then…zap! Pooch the puppy began to talk! Then minuscule men strided back to the spaceship and delivered Pooch safely home. The following morning the amazed owner of Pooch cried out in astonishment “My dog can talk!”

  4. Isla says:

One day three friends were walking in a dense wood. They were called Charlotte, Kaitlyn and Isla. Suddenly, Isla tripped and fell. SPLAT! Isla was trapped in the mud but, finally, when she rose, she held in her hand the most marvellous stone ever to be seen. One side was a perly white and constantly moving and on the other side had all the colours in the world on it.
At last when Isla, Kaitlyn and Charlotte had finished “ooing” and “ahing” in admiration Isla put the stone in her pocket which, somehow, was perfectly mud free.
When they got home Isla washed the stone, dried the stone and….KABOOM!!! The stone had gone, in its place was a midnight black dog ,except from the fur around its mouth and its eyebrows which were white as snow.
Like lightning the dog opened it’s mouth and said cool as cool could be, “I am George. What year is this ?” The girls were flabagasted! Talking dogs! That is out of this world! It is ALIEN !
“I am a wishing dog. I make yor dreams come true! You each have three wishes. Now use your wishes, once on your tenth birthday, your twentieth birthday and thirtieth birthday. Rub the stone when you need me the most. I will leave the rest you. Goodbye.” And with that he was gone!

“Are we there yet?” asked Lucy. Lucy was an energetic fun girl who had eyes as big as the moon and as blue as the sky. Lucy, her mother, her father and her brother Ben were going to the pet shop to buy a puppy!
“Not yet, but in thirty days!” Lucy’s father said sarcastically.
After what actually seemed like thirty days they finally arrived. Lucy pushed open the door and entered a room which smelt of wet dog and cat food. It was a small shop with only a till in the first room, then as you entered the gigantic second room, there were tropical birds, scruffy puppies and tiny kittens.
“Eat the cherry, eat the cherry!” Ben shouted, obviously playing Pac-Man. He certainly was not interested in the new puppy we were going to buy.
“Fourteen year old brothers,” Lucy thought. Just that moment the shopkeeper came in.
“How can I help,” she asked.
“Well,” said Lucy’s mother, “we are looking for a well-behaved puppy. It can be any breed but has to be cute”.
“Right this way,” she replied. “Here we go”.
She pulled out a scruffy black puppy with floppy ears and a blonde patch around its mouth.
“Can we get him!” Lucy exclaimed.
“Actually it’s a her,” squealed the shopkeeper.
“Fine, but I do admit he, sorry, she is so cute!” said mother.
Lucy’s hair was flying as she ran to the car with the sleeping puppy in her hands.
“I am so happy about this,” Lucy said smiling.
“Me too. Are we there yet?” said the puppy.

  6. Charlotte White says:

“Mum it’s been over half an hour, you said that we would be there in twenty minutes,” I said in a grumpy voice.
“Yes dear, I’m just pulling up into the car park,” replied my most wonderful mother. I could not wait to see the pet shop that we were buying from this crazy old man called Harrod, who thinks that one of the dogs can talk!
As I got out of the car, I felt a rush of excitement run through me. The inside of the pet shop looked very big but from outside it looked almost minute.
The air was very thick and damp and the wallpaper was peeling but that did not upset me because in the corner of my eye I saw the puppies on sale. One of them looked at me and winked.
“Mum I am pretty sure that the puppy with black fur just winked at me!” I shouted in a scared voice.
“Ah, I see you have discovered bubble gum, our most marvellous creation. Did you know that puppy can talk, wink and can do almost everything that a human can do? replied Harrod as he walked through a door that had paint chipping off, flies flying around it and a door handle that was coming off.
“Do not scare the poor girl Harrod,” said an old lady with what I assumed was a baby puppy in her hands. “My name’s Amelia and I am Harrod’s wife”.
After the scary elderly couple had left to go to Africa, I went up to the glass container handling the black puppy called Bubblegum.
“Greetings, I heard that you were buying this shop, my home,” said Bubblegum.
    “Yes,” was my faint reply.

One day I was feeding my cute dog Princess. I lazily strolled out into my small, green-grassed garden with sloppy dog food in my hand. I saw my over exited feline friend jumping up and down with exitment and joy. This opened my eyes with glee. Just before I put the food in Princess’ bowl she puffed “Quickly, Quickly I’m starving!”
I was amazed with my mouth wide open and my eyes were filled with astonishment. By now the dog food smelled more and more scentful and to me it smelt horrible but to Princess’ drooling mouth, it smelt delicous.
“What did you say…?”I asked in a high pitched voice
“Well I’m starving, please put the food in the bowl!”Princess said in a more politeful tone. I dropped the food in fear and ran up to my bed room over looking the garden. I peeked through my window trying to convince myself,
    ” This is a dream and i will wake up soon!”I saw Princess looking at me with a smile, a beautiful, friendly smile!I smiled back and now I was standing up straight. I came down stairs looking astonished but traumatised then I went back out into the garden. As soon as Princess saw me and she began with a sentence like this;
“Ok, I know this is all new to you. I know I need to explain to you but lets start from the beginning!”I listened to the whole story and when my mum called me in for dinner her final words were “Thank you for looking after me, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner I hope you want tell anyone will you?” she asked
“I won’t you have my word!” I promised.
“Good, I knew I could trust you!” I ran indoors and my mum asked me “Why were you out there for so long? You went out there at 2pm and now its half past six!”
Well, what would you say if your mother asked you?

Hi I’m Aidan and I’m here to tell you about a story that happened a long time ago.
I was in the park with my mum, dad and my dog Rolie. Rolie was a lovely loyal black and white labradoodle who is getting on to a ripe old age now, but back then he was only a young spirited puppy.
It was a sweltering summer’s day and we found a lovely quiet secluded place to eat in the park. We packed a picnic of crab stick sandwiches and scotch eggs along with an ice cold Coca-Cola. We had just finished our scrumptious picnic and we laid back on the picnic blanket when suddenly, a chocolate brown grizzly bear, who had recently escaped from a local zoo because the zoo keeper stupidly left the gate open in feeding time came running out from nowhere at all! Rolie ran off to get help and he bumped into the park ranger. “Woof woof!” barked Rolie. “What’s that boy?” asked the park ranger “Sorry I mean my family in the park are being attacked by a grizzly bear!” “Wow you can talk. But wait a second that must mean its urgent come on! “Then they ran off and the park ranger scared off the bear and we were safe thanks to Rolie and the park ranger.
The park ranger said” I can’t believe the dog can talk.” “He did what?” I replied in shock “He spoke to me, that’s how I got to you.” Exclaimed the park ranger. Then Rolie decided to butt in and said “I’ve been saving it for an emergency” He said. I just stroked him and we went home and had some delicious hot chocolate.” I don’t know what I would do without you Rolie boy.” I said.

A few weeks ago, something very strange happened! I was out in the park with my loyal, white dog called Hawkeye. He was attached to my lead and I was standing still when he suddenly started running – I didn’t know why- which made me jolt and nearly trip over ( since dogs are much faster than humans, he made me sprint ) I was sprinting as fast as I could whilst keeping control of him, although it was extremely difficult. Finally, he stopped but this time it made me trip over! Unfortunately, I grazed my knees and my right arm. Blood started trickling down my knees however my arm was quite ok.

I got up from the dirty floor and started shouting at him. I was shouting quite loud and that made everybody around me stare, I looked around embarrass. Hawkeye started whining and said truthfully ” I’m sorry, I’m sorry I promise I won’t do it do it again”. Hawkeye had just spoken!!! I was so surprised that fainted. Luckily, my body dropped on the lush, green grass and not the concrete!

I was still in the park when my Mum and Dad helped me get back to reality. “Are you ok son ?, Hawkeye came home and started barking loudly and we knew something was wrong, we then followed him and found you, what a hero he is ! ” My dad said worried but anxious and happy at the same time. ” Come on, let’s get you home, I have made a special lunch for everyone including Hawkeye and you can also tell us what happened on the way home” My mum said excitedly. I got up amazed, picking up Hawkeye’s lead but worried if he actually will keep his word!

A voice was heard saying “Where are the squirrels today?”
William and his dog Buster were out walking in their favourite park. William turned around to spot who had just said that , he couldn’t see anyone, so assumed the words had came from his head.
“William, do you think they are over in the trees?” who on earth was saying that? Thought William. He was looking around frantically and following Buster who was charging towards the trees.
Suddenly, Buster was barking and climbing up at the tree a squirrel had just run up. Buster turned and looked at his master and said “Oh these squirrels are just too fast for me, but I will catch one soon”. Was this voice coming from Buster? William was staring at his dog in amazement. Then he laughingly said “Buster, you’ll never catch one!”
“OH, YES I WILL!” Buster replied.
William was still looking around to see if anyone was tricking him. Then all of a sudden he asked asked Buster if the human voice was coming from him.
Buster put his head to one side and said “Yes, but why are you looking like you have just seen a ghost”.
William was totally astonished, but then Buster started to talk to everyone they saw. He went home to his wife and said “WOW! Our dog can talk!”

    My dog can talk!!!!!

Today was the most extraordinary day of my life! My dog somehow is able to speak English! It sounds bizarre, however it’s defiantly true. My parents don’t believe me. I fainted three seconds after it said “Hello”.
My sister wanted a dog. My parents got the dog; moreover it was from a rescue centre, so we had no idea what we were in store for. We got it, because it gave my sister a really cute look. Consequently my sister insisted we have to get that dog.
When I was quickly eating my breakfast the following day and my dog was eating its food, we made eye contact. He then suddenly said “Hello”. Just after he said that, I fainted for about 10 seconds, then I came conscious again. I told my parents, nevertheless they didn’t believe me, and therefore I told him to speak to them.
Then he said “I’m only talking to you.” That’s how I found out that my dog can talk, but nobody believes me!
    The End

    My dog can talk

“Kids I’ve got a surprise,” exclaimed Chloe and Ellie’s mother.
“What is it?” they gasped simultaneously.
“It’s a puppy!” she shouted in triumph.

Suddenly a small black dog trudged into the kitchen; barking loudly it began to pounce at Chloe and Ellie in happiness.
“He’s called Scruffy!” their mum explained to them,
“I’ve also entered him into the dog competition, so train him well!”

From that day on they trained Scruffy all the time and soon found out that Scruffy was marvelous at doing tricks.

Finally, on the day of the show a diminutively sized man walked onto the stage and explained that if your dog won, you’d get a three week holiday to Florida with flights and tickets to all the major theme parks included. As scruffy slowly plodded onto stage, Ellie and Chloe got all his obstacles together. However, instead of beginning to jump through his hoops, he shouted:
“Hello, my name is Scruffy, my talent is to talk, well obviously it is. This is not a trick!”

The crowd’s first reaction was mainly open-mouthed silence. Suddenly everyone began to clap their hands until they were sore. Immediately a judge stood up and boomed “We have decided the winner is: the hilarious talkative Scruffy!”
“Yaaaaah!” screamed Ellie, Chloe and their mother.

Soon they will be off to Florida………

“Zak, Zak, come here!” commanded Alicia. “It is time to go home now; we can come back to the park and play with Patch tomorrow!

Zak is a dog, a black and white, playful, cunning dog. His best friend is another dog called Patch, he is noisy and active. Alicia is Zak’s owner. She is strict with Zak but also loves playing with him. They all like walking in the park.

    “Woof, woof!” barked Zak.
“Woof, woof, woof!” barked Patch and they both ran into the park’s forest. It is a dangerous place where nobody goes. “Zak, Patch, come back, come back, we need to go home!” ordered Alicia but they did not listen.

It was getting late and Alicia was still thinking about what to do, she was about to sprint home and tell her mum that Zak and Patch were in the park’s forest, when Zak and Patch ran out of the forest. “Zak, come here at once; you have been so naughty, don’t ever do that again, I got so worried!” said Alicia angrily.
“Leave me alone woman!” snapped Zak. “You are so bossy and mean, why don’t you come here!” Alicia, so shocked, fainted on the spot!

Ten minutes later Alicia woke up (lying on the muddy ground). “Oh Zak, I had a crazy dream that you could talk!” said Alicia
“That’s because I can talk!” said Zak.
“But how did this happen?” questioned Alicia.
“It all started when Patch and I were in the forest, we past a wizard and he dropped one of his potions, Patch told me not to lick it but I could not resist it so I did lick it and I started talking!” explained Zak.
“But we cannot tell anyone that I can talk,” continued Zak.
“Don’t worry Zak,” said Alicia. “Your secret is safe with me!”

    My dog could talk!

Hi, this is a story about my dog Sam. I thought an intriguing event happened on 21st March in the park so I decided to publish the occourings. I am quite small but have deep brown hair althought that don’t make a difference. My happiest moment ever was when I bought Sam a long time ago. The beam which spread across my face was as big as the Tower of London when I first saw his deep blue eyes, chocolatey brown coat of fur and his bark was extraordinary. I bought him a lead and collar immediately so he would never part me. I’ll never forget that moment. I loved him.

Although ,one day when I took him to the park he spoke to me! I couldn’t believe it. I was so overwhelmed as I thought I could now speak to him. I was flabbergasted but truly nervous as I didn’t want anyone to find out because people might run tests on him, I couldn’t bear that so my best friend and I would only talk in privacy. We loved each other with all our heart.

We were never seperated. I’d always be with my delightful dog. When we reached our home one day I wanted to tell him something but all I got back was a bark . I was miserable for the rest of the day. Although it was great being able to talk to a dog because not everyone gets to do that. I didn’t want to tell anyone but I didn’t want to live like this so I took him to the vet. I left him overnight so the vet could check him up. I had nightmares all night about him and the sound of trees clicking their fingers wasn’t nice either. I woke up and ran to the vet but only to find Sam had died overnight. I cried and sobbed over and over again but I just couldn’t lose my best friend.

Christmas arrived soon, I’d bought crackers with dog things inside but Sam wasn’t there so I donated them to charity. I eventually got over it but there will always be a place in my heart for Sam, the cutest and greatest dog ever.

  17. Jazzie says:

On the way home from school I found a stranded black and white dog at the dump. Then I looked at his collar and it said Alfie. Next I took him home. I’ve had him 5 months now, no one has picked him up so I’ve kept him. I bathed him; fed him and played with him. My name is Jack by the way. It became obvious shortly after I got him and I realised that there is more to this dog than met the eye.

Alfie would do what all dogs do. But sometimes he seemed to understand what I was saying. One night Alfie, as usual, was in my bedroom and I fell asleep. I dreamt that Alfie could talk and we slipped from the house at midnight. We had a great time. Next morning I woke Alfie up on my bed hoping he could talk. I got out of bed and heard “Good morning Jack…….!!”

    My dog can talk
Dogs can bite, dogs can bark, but my own dog can talk…
I would like to tell you about the day that my dog started to talk. The groomed, black, white – eye browed terrier dog (Jimmy) was jumping in and out of boxes on a day out adventure to a Gothic building. His brown eyes were rolling with excitement but I did not know why? He kept jumping in and out of boxes, more hyperactive than he usually is. “Jimmy, if you break something you will not have that meaty bone that I prepared for you!”I exclaimed. “Woof!” barked Jimmy. Then he jumped into a large toy box that covered and disguised a dungeon…

“Help!”Jimmy exclaimed. “I’m falling, I’m falling!”When Jimmy stopped falling, he was in front of a dark, gloomy castle with grey mist shadowing it. “Oh, I am feeling scared, I should have listened to Grace so that I wouldn’t be here at all.”Jimmy said to himself. Ok I am going to be brave, Jimmy thought, and goes inside the castle.
“Oh that was so much better than falling!” Jimmy said as he appeared in a spell room. “Hello”he says to the witch in front of him.
    “Oh hello” she replied.
“I am going to grant you a wish Jimmy, do not ask why, this is the only wish you get before you go back to your owner, Grace” the friendly witch said.
“So make use of your wish” she warned.
“Um, I wish that I could talk to Grace and tell her how I feel” He said.
“Your wish is granted” said the witch.

As quick as a wink, Jimmy was back with Grace.
“Grace I have a story to tell you about my adventure!”Jimmy said excitedly.
“Jimmy you can talk!!!!” said Grace, amazed. But it was all in a dream!

This morning I was in my large pink bedroom all alone. It was a cold, chilly day so I decided to stay in. I was happily playing when suddenly I heard a voice! “Come on let’s play together Daisy”. I looked round the room worridly checking if any one was there (no one was). A minute later I decided to keep on playing my game as I only had 5 minutes till a beautiful dinner. Suddenly I heard the voice calling again, “come on”. Could it be, could it be my dog David talking to me? “David is that you?” I asked baffled. “Yes Daisy” replied David. I was so shocked I nearly fainted. There was so much I wanted to Ask him but mum called me for dinner and I ran as fast as I could to tell her and my baby brother the fasanating news of the talking dog and left David alone in my bedroom chattering to himself happily.

  20. Nicola says:

Once there was a dog called Lucky. She was a cute little dog, with a shiny black coat, and a white patch over her nose and mouth.

One beautiful, bright sunny day, Lucky turned very quickly whilst running, and her owner, Isabel, said to her mum “Look, look! Lucky can run really fast.” Then, Lucky hurt her paw and it started to bleeding badly, so Isabel took her to the vet.

Lucky got on really well at the vet’s, and she got better very quickly. When she’d started to recover, Isabel took her for a long walk to help her train for the annual dog race at Isabel’s spectacular school fete. She hoped that Lucky would win an get a medal, although her paw was still fragile.

Suddenly, Isabel remembered that she’d got a potion from the vet’s, although she wasn’t sure what it was for. Isabel gave the potion to Lucky, and to her surprise, Lucky started talking! Lucky said “Can I go for some more training?” and so Isabel said “Yes.”. They started to train, and Lucky gradually got better.

A week later, on race day, Lucky told Isabel that she was excited about the race, and had a good feeling about it. Later that day, Lucky came second in the race, and won a name badge.

  21. Benj says:

Many moons ago, lived a pampered, wealthy boy called Jimmy. Jimmy had a home designed to make a wish come true. He also had a wonderful sheep dog called Jerry. One gloomy night, Jimmy whispered to himself “I wish Jerry could talk” murmered Jimmy still asleep. When Jimmy woke up to a calm morning he noted that his friendly companion was resting beside him. Starteled Jimmy woke up and Jerry asked “How you feeling, Jimmy?” Bewildered Jimmy said “I’m feeling very joyous, as a matter of fact.”
“What are you going to wear?” questioned Jerry.
“I think maybe I will wear a slik golden waistcoat.”

As the day went on, Jimmy was now believing his dog could talk. Later when Jimmie’s parents eventually arrived home, he stated clearly that Jerry could talk.
“Wow,” exclaimed his mum, concealing her giggling. “Have you had too much utterly ultra fizzy pop today? said his dad. Jimmy sighed and clambered up the stairs drearily. Sadly, lounging in the corner of his room was his incredible dog, giving him a gleeful wink.

I was once a rescue dog, but that all changed one day…
When I was at the shelter thinking to myself know one will ever choose me. Just as I was thinking that, a man, a women, and 2 children (1 girl, 1 boy) walked into the shop. I knew they weren’t going to choose me when the girl and boy said together ” Mum, Dad can we get this one please, he’s so cute!?! ” surprisingly looking at me. Fortunately the Mum said ” ok ! ” So now I live with a new family and I love them a lot!

    Dear Diary,
Can you believe it, my adorable and noisy dog Ginger cannot only bark loud but can also talk like a real person! He can chatter like a monkey! It’s a really a miracle, a real miracle!

One glorious summer morning when the summer sun was glazing at the ground and the twigs crackled and crunched under my feet. I decided to take Ginger out for a wonderful walk under the staring sun. I was thinking ‘ where is a nice place to take Ginger to’ I thought hard until a light bulb flung into my head. It went, DING!!!! Eureka! The place was the park I thought ‘how could I not know that?

So we set off looking forward to the wonderful journey. I could hear the birds tweeting and the eagles screaming like a girl in fright.

Finally me and Ginger arrived at the ‘Green Patched Park, close to my house. Me and Ginger had a lot of things to choose from. We chose the walk on the field. Once we arrived at the green field, Ginger went up to an old couple that were having a romantic stroll and he must have heard them talk to each other. He must have decided to copy their talking language. If he did he was pretty good at it.

That’s how he learnt to talk, now back to me ,as you may not know I’m used to be all alone but not any more. since he is so nice I sometimes think that he is a real person watching tv with me. So I have a little someone to talk to.

He is used to me and I am used to him. We are like best friends but one is a dog and one is a person.
My mum always says that I need to spend time without him. So I pretend to. When I am actually playing with him up stairs. Sometimes I get caught when I am playing with him whenever I should be doing my work.

Without him I would be nothing but a pile of stones.

  25. Sasha says:

We rescued a schnauzer two weeks ago. Nothing extraordinary, perfect paws, fluffy ears but those eyes! They look at you so longingly!
We finally decided to call her Tiz. Peculiar name but it matches her perfectly. We only realised her amazing ability two days ago. She can talk!
It happened when I was quietly sitting on my bedroom floor, Tiz on my lap. I was reading when a voice croaked slowly, “Hello, my name is Tiz”. I was so shocked I couldn’t speak. I stared around the room with astonishment, checking if this wasn’t a prank. I looked at Tiz. Her eyes were so innocent but it must have been her.
Mum came into my room to check on me. She found me sitting on my bed, my mouth gaping. We took Tiz to the vets yesterday, the vet shrugged, tapped her head and explained to us that Tiz was an extraordinary dog but there was nothing wrong with her. How lucky we are to have a talking dog!

  26. Peter says:

My dog can talk I knew it was going to happen one day because well I don’t no I just knew it was going to happen. I found out yesterday I haven’t even told my mum because she would think it is a threat to nature but I don’t I think it is. It is amazing better than amazing. If my friends found out I will probably be rich or my dog will be rich. I am just glad that my dog can talk.I am starting to think that the things I did not believe in the first place can actually come true.

Are there going to be talking cats or any type of talking animal I feel like I’m in heaven with a talking dog. So that’s all I can say about talking dogs. That talking dogs is the best thing I have ever seen. You should get one. If you have a dog talking dogs is amazing. Get a dog and you might be lucky it may talk. Talking dogs are amazing. The best thing I have ever talked about in my whole life, magnificent.

    My Dog Can Talk

All year I’ve been wanting a dog . If mum said’ what do you want for christmas honey?’ i would say ‘a dog ‘ .If dad said ‘What do you want for your birthday my big girl? ‘I would say ‘ A dog’ If I had the opportunity to pick what i want i would say ‘ a dog ‘. So mum and dad took me to the pet shop. I ran down all the aisle so fast that mum and dad couldn’t even catch up!!!
when i got to the dogs aisle my eyes set up on a black and white dog. I slowly walked towards him taking my pink woolly gloves of. I knelt down and stroked him. ‘ Your hands are warm’ said the dog . I suddenly looked around expecting mum and dad had caught up on me but no no one was there just me and the dog. ‘ It’s me’ said the dog wagging it’s tail ‘i know its not every daisy mean day you see a talking dog’ I looked down in shock then stood up and yes it is not everyday you see a talking dog.
    But MY dog can talk!!!

  28. Bobs says:

I didn’t notice this before but my dog can talk. It happened yesterday when my friend came over to play. We were playing catch in my back garden. Then, suddenly we heard a voice saying “Hi Jimmie” I knew it wasn’t my mum because she was shopping on the high street getting dinner. So Jimmie and I went inside there was no one there except my dog Jumble who was sitting on the couch. So Jimmie and I just said “Must have been the wind” but then we heard it again but this time much louder. Then I said to Jimmie “It must be someone in this room”. Jimmie and I looked across the whole entire room but all we could find was Jumble! Jimmie said to me “It could be Jumble who is speaking” Then I said to him back “Don’t talk nonsense Jimmie, look I’ll show you he can’t talk” So I walked up to Jumble and said” Can you say hi Jimmie” Then a voice came back and said “ Yes I can say hi Jimmie but we need to keep it a secret” .
So, I’ve got a dog who can talk but I can’t tell anybody else.

  29. Rosie h says:

It was a dark and gloomy night all was silent then, suddenly, there came a muffled howl of many dogs, altogether, their voices drifting in the wind across the silent street. There then was a second, then a third. Soon the sky was full of wails as loud as fog horns and wolf like howls. The lights of the puzzled owners soon started to turn on and suddenly there were more wails and screams but this time they belonged to the poor families in the houses.”My house has been abducted by aliens!”
“Hiss, hiss!” We’re the strange sounds floating through the gaps in the windows and doors. After that, sure enough, from each of the houses with dogs came aliens. They were ocean blue with 6 eyes and 8 arms, two of which they use to travel on. They were only one foot tall and were carrying suspicious looking guns. They used a button on their watch to shrink themselves and soon after climbed into multicoloured flowers which then rose into the air and zoomed off into orbit. Straight away there came cries of amazement and wonder from the petrified owners back in the houses…

    Cedric and Ceaser

”Mum can we get this golden retriever please?” Cedric said excitedly.
Cedric was getting a dog and he was very hyper, as you can imagine. He is, I guess different to other children. He spends more time with animals than children.

But he didn’t know that, that was all going to change.

He was in the small kitchen all alone, well alone except for Ceaser, his new golden dog.
Cedric heard a voice, a deep voice. He turned around and Ceaser, I mean Ceaser, spluttered ” Hello Cedric!”
Cedric’s jaw was hanging of his face like a feral monkey. He ran to his diary, he had to write about this:

    Dear Diary
I just found out the weirdest thing ever.
MY DOG CAN TALK!!! I don’t really know what to do. I guess I will have to
    live with it.
    By Cedric

Cedric closed his diary and went to feed Ceaser. When he got to the large, colourful living room, Ceaser told him he should play with children more, as he could tell that Ceaser was amid lots of animals and never picked up his phone calls from his friends. Cedric thought ” maybe I should give it a shot!”

So the next day at school he tried making friends and he did, it was great. Cedric loved his new dog. He was as real as real can be!

    My dog can talk

No one believes me, but my dog can talk.

He is a black and white German Shepherd and he saves people. The funniest thing about him is that he has a voice like Minnie mouse and always talks in rhymes.

One lovely day, me and my chatty dog Rob were going to the park. I was really excited so I kept on saying “Are we there yet?”

When we finally got there I threw a bright red Frisbee. Rob ran as fast a lightning trying to get it but he suddenly stopped to see a robber leaning over a buggy trying to get an iceberg ice cream off a baby. “Give me that ice cream kid!” growled the mean evil robber. The baby filled her big, blue eyes with tears. Rob couldn’t watch this so he hid behind the chubby baby and squeaked in his high voice, “Oi you don’t be mean, give me back my vanilla ice cream!” The robber was astonished, he had never seen a baby talk before. He stated to run and shouted “MUMMY!”

“Thank you” the baby said politely to the dog. The dog nodded, “That’s ok, I’m here every sunny day.

Rob ran back to me, I gave him a treat for being so kind. “You’re my BFF!” I told him with a grin.
“And you’re mine, remember we have to be back before nine.”

    My dog can talk

On a dark, misty night with the stars shining at their brightest, the full moon crept out from behind the gloomy clouds. A few houses down the high road James’s dog Spitsy was howling like a werewolf. When suddenly a beam from the moon zapped Spitsy and he stoped howling. He started to yell “Food!, Food!”.

A few minutes later James woke up because he heard something in the kitchen. He crept down the stairs and to his surprise he saw Spitsy in the kitchen gnashing his teeth into juicy meat. “What are you looking at?” said Spitsy to James. James jaw dropped. “My dog can talk! Spitsy is that really you” shouted James so loud that it woke up his Mum and Dad.

“What’s the racket about!” exclaimed Dad with annoyance in his voice.
“Spisty can talk, look!” answered James.
“Woof, Woof!” barked Spitsy in delight.

Mum and Dad stomped upstairs while Spitsy whispered “Secrets are kept for a reason James,”

  34. Cooper Lynn says:

One day I went to the park and went playing with my dog. Where we played fetch with a ball, it was really fun. Then I took my dog through the woods.

When we went in the woods, my dog slipped in a muddy puddle. I had to wash him off with the towel. I was lucky to have had one, but then, my dog picked up loads of sticks! It was weird because my dog doesn’t pick loads of sticks, hardly any actually. I was getting confused. I don’t know why he done it any way. Just then my dog began to bark and then a big branch fell down right in front of me. It was weird, really weird.

When I went to go home my dog was talking!
    My dog said” Hello!”
I screamed and ran to tell my wife and kids!
“The dog can talk! The dog can talk!” I screamed than I fell over, but then I woke up. I was shocked. It was all a dream. And then I went back to sleep.

    My dog can talk!

‘Come here boy,’ reece called calmly ‘ Its time for your walk Muttley!’
Muttley ran rapidly into to the small kitchen.
‘My red lead is on the stairs,Reece.’ Muttley said strangely. Reece’s jaw was hanging out of his face like a feral monkey at what his dog had just said. Or what his dog didn’t say….its all a bit confusing really! He screamed in pure amazement and jumped around literally as if he actually was a feral monkey!
Muttley then said ‘ keep it quiet, i don’t wanna have to much attention… And are we going on that walk i need some fresh air!’
‘Yes! I think i need some fresh air too Mutt!’

  36. Peter says:

“Ok son, ready for another story,” said a dad somewhere and sometime “It goes like this,”:
    Destination: Unknown Year: 1967
In the dead of night, where the owls were hooting, where the garden was silent, where the nightmares began.
When suddenly something broke that silence, a young boy around your age was running, screaming wildly out a tent at Belchamps Activity for Scouts. It was the summer so many scouts were out camping, though this one was terrified, like a cat and mouse, of the dark. He ran as fast as his little legs would carry him. He suddenly slipped in the mud and remembered going through a hedge.

He woke up a few minutes later and noticed and no mud on him and that he was in a colourful new world. He looked around the countryside looking for the way he came into the world. Though all he could see was the dazzling beauty of the green grass. He started to run hoping to get somewhere. When as quick as a flash a lion popped up out of nowhere and gobbled the little boy whole.

The next thing he knew was that he was just in his tent and only he had the pillowcase over his head and he had not been in a new world, only dreamt it.
When his dad put him to bed, he took a peek at the hedge and you would never guess what he saw…

  37. sammy joujou says:

It all happened one summer afternoon when the sun was blistering and an iridescent glow reflected off the windows. I was relaxed in my icy-cold swimming pool, my mum was washing up in the kitchen, my dad was fixing things around the house and Wiz (the dog) was lounging on the lush, evergreen grass. My eyes were glancing towards the blue sky when I hear-
    “HEY”
My eyes darted faster than the speed of light to see if anyone was there….No one. I rolled back intrepidly into the pool and then-….It happened again
    “HEY”
My feet caught a shiver as I glared at Wiz with fear. “Was that you Wiz?” I remarked sceptically.
“Yeah that was me, can I have a dip in the pool please, cause I’m burning?”
    ”Yo..You can t… talk!!!
”Oh yeah, I’ve always been able to speak all animals do, can I have a dip in the pool or what-
    ”I’m going to tell MUM!”
”Well if you do I’ll never speak again,”
”Ok, so we will keep it a secret?”
    ”Yes…yes we will”…….

    My talking dog

One blazing summer’s day I was playing with my dog Rover in the park, he said “Hi,” I was bewildered. Can my dog actually talk? I thought for a moment. Can he really talk? No.

    How wrong was I…?

The following day Rover was talking about a typical day and things he would do as a dog. Then asked me about mine, at first I didn’t answer.
The next day he asked again. I still could not bring myself to answer back, conversing with a dog.

The morning after he asked a good question, which made me think as the day went on. He questioned, “If you were a dog, what activities would you like to do in a day?” which I answered,” I would have to think about that.”
After a minute or two I replied “I would spend the day with him playing fetch, digging holes in the garden and chasing my tail.”

Rover died soon after that, I’m glad we had out little chat……

  39. Daniel says:

A few days ago, something very interesting happend….
My dog could talk! So first things first. I was in the park with bear. And suddenly he mumbled something. So I crouched down and asked him what’s the matter. Wich is quite strange to ask a dog. So I asked him ”would you please be able to repete what you just said” in quite a shock.
” I said can we go home please ”
” ok” I said in serprisment
When we arrived home bear leaped directly on the couch. I went in the kitchen to get a cup of tea. When I went back to were bear was I couldn’t believe my eyes! He had turned the TV on and was lying on the couch. So then I just blinked and asked him ” would you like so water ?” I asked in shock.
    ” Yes please”
    ”Ok”
” and don’t forget to put it in a cup!”
    “What did you just say”
    ” yes in a cup”
    ” whatever you say boss”
So I got bear water in a cup. I sat on the couch and watched a bit of TV. I said to my self I think it’s time to go to bed. When I woke up bear had vanished…..

On a beaming hot day there were two children named Bobbi and Roman, they were in the swimming pool. ” Roman I with we could get a dog.” said Bobbi. They both looked at each other with a cheeky grin. Lets go and ask dad. ” Dad roman wants to ask you something” Said Bobbi smiling. “Please can we get a dog?” he asked ” Please, Please, Please” they both shouted. ” Yes that would be great we will get a dog after school BUT you must both promise you will behave, tidy your room and do your HOMEWORK!” said dad. “Of course we will thanks dad!” the children shouted with excitement. After school mum took Bobbi and Roman to the pet shop and saw the cutest black and brown dog with a shiny nose and bright sparkling eyes. “Can we get that dog please?” asked the children. “Yes, that’s a very good idea” said mum. They took their dog home and named him Doodles. When they got home they rushed up stairs with their new dog doodles. ” Welcome to your new home” said the children. “Thanks I love it here already” said Doodles the dog. “AH” screamed the children in shock. “Did he just talk?” ” Yes I did talk and you can’t tell anybody it our secret” said Doodles. “Ok I wont tell” Roman replied. “Can we go and play in the garden?” Bobbi asked. “Last one there is a Brussels sprout” Roman shouted.

  41. Well, he’s not really an adult dog, he’s a puppy. Anyway, he’s called Hyper Harry. Hyper by name and by nature, he is. He’s black ‘n’ white, furry, cuddly, and best of all, he is very playful.
One beautiful Summers’ day, as Harry an’ I were playing fetch. You’ll never guess what happened!!! Harry started… TALKING!!! Actually speaking the real English language! There you are, I told you, you wouldn’t believe it. I know I definitely didn’t. I stood there stunned, rooted to the spot, my mouth opening and shutting, trying to find some words, but I was too amazed to speak. That day was EEEPPIIICCC!!!
From then on, we always had private chats and games and kept it a secret, especially from mum. Once, we were having a chat when suddenly mum walked into the room… We had such a close escape, we were talking about performing at the local circus, I was telling Harry some jokes. As an excuse I told mum that I was practising for our performance that was coming up. ( It was the annual Summer performance, and even better luck, I was the comedian, and she believed that I was practising. (Because she knew about the performance.))
We soon joined the circus and were doing the best ever acts. Mum found out about Harry soon enough and surprisingly, she actually liked it and didn’t mind!
    THE END

  42. Raiyaan says:

One beautiful summer’s morning, the colossal ball of fire ascended, dancing merrily on the emerald green leaves. The tall majestic treetops were knitted together like a green blanket. You could hear the whisper of the soft breeze, mother joyous birdsong, the humming bees and the trill of the blackbirds. The ruby and sapphire flowers were like piles of precious jewels. The clusters of petals were like confetti and balls of cotton wool filled the ocean-blue, shimmering sky. The fresh, sweet smell of the grass filled the air.
I strolled down the path which sparkled in the bright sunlight and was enrapturedly walking my dog. I was just about to go back home when I saw an immense forest with a spidery triangle of trees, branches and thorns, which appeared to create a dark tunnel. As my dog and I walked carefully and wearily into the forest there was only silence as thick as fog. The branches creaked in the gentle breeze, like rusty hinges and I felt a cool breath against my face. Suddenly, without realizing, I stepped forward and fell straight into a deep hole, with a loud ‘AAAAHHHH!’ I had fallen onto a hard surface and knew I had hurt myself quite badly. Luckily my dog had somehow managed not to fall into the hole with me, and immediately sprinted off in the hope of finding someone that may be able to help me. He came across a gentleman walking rather briskly, but after barking frantically at him, realized that he wouldn’t be able to make this stranger understand his predicament. Then, miraculously, he stopped barking and instead started talking. The shocked stranger, almost a little scared but also intrigued, agreed to follow my dog and found me stranded in the hole. He rushed to help me and managed to pull me out , covered in a thick coating of rather smelly mud. As soon as I was out the stranger quickly explained to me how my dog had found him and had spoken to him! I looked at him aghast and said ‘My dog can talk!’

  43. Daisy Parker says:

From out of nowhere; I heard “screech, screech, screech!” My brother brother was screaming as loud as a choir in full swing. I tried to open my weary eyes. They felt as heavy as a sack of bricks that was full to the brim.

The smell of burnt toast wafted from the gargantuan kitchen. I found it hard to get up from my cosy bed. The fluffy, feathered duvet tickled me on the check, as I turned to see where my sparkly, silver slippers were, my big, bumpy pillow fell to the chilly marble floor. Soon I realised my slippers were on the other side of the room so I built up the courage to sprint over to them and slip them on as fast as I could to prevent my feet from getting cold.

Soon I rushed quickly down the steep stairs to be created by my marvellous Mum. She was dressed in her favourite silk dressing gown. I really wanted some chocolate so I decided to have Crunch Pops. They are my favourite serial. As I poured the chocolate grains of rice into my best china bowl I could hear the crackling whilst my brother was eating the burnt toast opposite me. Yuck!

Suddenly, my Mum started smiling her cheesy grin! “finish up your Crunch Pops darling, I have to make a very important phone call.”

“Play a little game or something whilst I do this.” Soon after Mum had left the room Looking serious I thought of what kind of crazy things she could be doing. I thought she may of won the Lottery and was being greedy and keeping all the millions of pounds to herself! Or maybe she had sneakily brought amazing tickets to see 1 Direction (they are the best boy band in the world).

“Will that nasty lady put me in them thilthy kennels?” Cried a worried voice. “You get silly sizzling sausages, and everyone knows I hate them disgusting things.” Speedily I span around to check where that ear splitting voice was coming from. Was it my cute, cuddly Cockapoo David? His fluffy fur was really silky and short.

“David……Is that you baby?” “Yes it surely is!” replied the same voice. “Your criminal mother is phoning Kennels For Dogs or as you like to call it KFD she is going to book it for next Saturday because she has won a brilliant once in a life time trip to…..Florida!”

David could talk and clearly too was it a dream? No I was defenitly awake! I had had him for 5 years and it was the first time he could do it. “You naughty dog why didn’t you tell me you could talk?” I asked. There was no reply. Was I imagining things?

One Monday morning Amy took her dog, Richard out to the park.
    “Woof Woof !” shouted Richard.
“Huh, you want to go off your lead, “
Richard ran as fast as he possibly could.
“Come on Richard we are going!” screeched Amy an hour later.
They walked home and Amy went into the house to see her mum, but then Amy found her mum in the garden as well.
“Thank you Amy for the dog food “said Richard.
“Mum! Richard talked did you hear him? “Asked Amy
“No, you must be daydreaming or imagining it because I did not hear anything,” Replied mum. Amy forgot about it and thought she overheard. Suddenly something strange happened… “Where is the food?” Whispered Richard.
“My dog can talk!” Cried mum over and over again. Mum nearly fainted until Amy came. She rushed down stairs to see why her mum was screaming.
“Richard talks “screeched mum. Amy calmed mum down then took Richard for another walk.” I shall now call you Richard the amazing talking dog!”

    MY DOG CAN TALK!

“Finally I have finished my homework!” Jamie sighed in relief.

“Time to walk the dog now Jamie!” shouted his mum.
Jamie came out of his room with his small pet dog -Rodger. He slid down the stairs banister with him (Rodger) in his hands. He nudged Jamie as if he was trying to remind him about something. He quickly remembered Rodger’s dog collar and lead. Soon they were all set to go.

As soon as they were both in the park alone, Rodger started talking!

“Jamie” Rodger whispered “listen carefully because I’m only going to tell you once, I can see the future like a fortune teller with a crystal ball.”

“Yeah right,” snorted Jamie, who didn’t believe a word Rodger said.

“When you are 21 there will be world war 2 between Adolf Hitler and Winston Churchill.” Rodger said. Right now, Jamie was 11 when this startling event happened.

10 years later Jamie was 21 and on his birthday a war broke out and he was forced to fight in it. It went on for 4 bloody years of bullets being released from guns like rabbits sprinting out of a hole at the sight of fire and death.

A year after the battle, Jamie and his dog were alone; Rodger winked at Jamie and told him that there are
more things that will happen like world war 3…

  47. My Dog Can Talk

    My names Zog
    and I’m a talking dog
as fluffy as thick white fog.

    Other dogs bark
    in the park
but not me with my oner Mark.

Mark says “he chates all day,
    he chates all night
and he never leaves my sight.

    I’m as white as snow
    and as black as night
    and i’m always chasing kites.

I’m as friendly as can be
    my favourite food is kiwi
and i’m always barking at trees

  48. Daisy Parker says:

“Screach, screach, screach!” I was awoken by the ear splitting cry of my annoying baby brother. As I tried to open my weary eyes, I could hear my mum angrily marching into my brothers gargantuan bedroom. Eventually I slowly climbed out of my light blue bed. I rushed along the chilly granite floor to my spectacular, silver, shiny slippers. I did this quickly to prevent the soles of my tiny feet from freezing against the excruciatingly cold floor.

As I soared down the creeky, steep stairs at 100 mph (not forgetting to hold onto the cold chrome handrail) the smell of foul burnt toast drifted by my nose. It was coming from the tiny, crafty kitchen at the end of the house.

Today I was really hungry and yearned for a bowl of Chrunch Pops (they were the best thing to fill a hollow hole in my stomach). They are my absolute favourite.

  49. JoshuaO says:

My dog is the most extraordinary dog because he has one feature that only humans have: the power to talk. I found this out on Wednesday 16th July 2014………
My golden retriever (Danny) and I were in the park when Danny started to talk to me . He asked”isn’t life great?” I did not answer because I was flabbergasted . At the thought that my dog can talk.
“Yeah, yeah big deal I can talk but this is top secret, between me and you alright .”
After a few moments I nodded my head slowly”
“What are you waiting for? Let’s go and play” and with that we went.

On a scorching hot day everyone was sitting in front of the blaring television. The dog was sitting in its basket peacefully.
” What should we do? I’m getting bored,” asked Liz. Everyone remained silent. After a few minutes , the dog came up with an idea.
“Let’s go to the park!” Everyone froze. All eyes were on the dog.
“Hey! Why are you all staring at me like that?” enquired the dog. Liz gasped.
    “You can talk!” she stammered.

    My Dog Can Talk!!!

One hot summer day Amanda along with her black and snowy white, boxer dog named Loyal went to the park.
“Oh no” said Amanda worriedly after looking at her watch, it was fifteen minutes past five. She clutched onto her gloomy, green, glittery dog lead.
“Come on girl its time to go home” said Amanda stroking Loyal on the back, but for some peculiar reason Loyal did not want to leave.
“One last time,” Amanda said in fury as she threw the orange Frisbee to the other end of the field.
Loyal sprinted down to grabbed hold of the Frisbee with her sharp, white, razor teeth and then sprinted back.
“Come on, let’s go we’re late” said Amanda but something odd happened……
    Loyal spoke
Amanda felt a shiver from top of her shoulders to the sole of her feet.
“Woof Amanda I really want to stay though” Loyal said moving her head from side to side.
“But I thought talking dogs only appear in movies”
    Amanda replied puzzled.
“Well here I am as big as life” said Loyal
“Amanda dear have you forgotten the time?” Mum shouted strolling down the field.
“uuumm no mum it’s just that I heard Loyal talk” Amanda stuttered.
“Don’t be a silly billy, dogs can’t talk” said mum with a laughter.

It was a cool morning and I quickly got changed to walk my Dalmatian dog. Max is very hyper and he chases his fluffy tail leaving some dirty fur on the floor. We tried to go to the nearest park but it was closed because of the long grass which was as long as grass in the grassland. The other park was fifteen miles away so we decided to go there. As soon as we got there I thought that it was going to rain. The heavens opened and when one rain drop fell on Max…

  54. W2-MY DOG SPOKE
When I was a tiny toddler my mum brought back home a puppy for my birthday from France. It was a hairy black and white puppy. His fur is really soft, I’m stroking him now, as I write and what’s best is that he smells of dog, nothing else, he smells like a proper. He has a heart of gold and he makes me laugh when he’s just come in from running about and he sits down, his pink tongue hanging to one side, panting. I’m sure, by now, that you’re wondering what I called him, so I’ll let the cat out the bag and tell you, he’s called Scratch. I named him that because of the way he scratches about.

I should have called him clever or speak because, here’s another secret! One day, as I was taking Scratch for a walk, we were playing fetch when the ball landed on a notably large flower that seemed to somehow be twinkling. Scratch didn’t care, he only cared about the ball. When he dropped the ball down next to me to throw it again, instead of barking, he shouted: “Throw It Again! Throw It Again!” I was astonished. Rooted to the spot. Blank. Until, of course, he nudged me hard, so I threw the ball. After that, he started speaking allot!

Slowly, as Scratch and I grew up, though, he started speaking less and less. Now, I’ve realised that the flower was magic, but the magic it had given Scratch had worn off. He stopped talking about three months ago when I took him for our special, annual ‘Treat-Walk’. My brother John wanted a pup too, but I didn’t let him near Scratch so when he finally got one, only then did he discover that he was deathly allergic to them!

  55. W2-MY DOG SPOKE
When I was a tiny toddler my mum surprised me by providing a minuscule, furry, black and white puppy. His fur was silk from the lining of a silver cloud. A lustrous black nose, that appeared similar to a button revealed itself under the glistening hairs that hid it. I named him Scratch because of the way he scratches around the place, so it is easy to see where he’s been! He makes me laugh because of the way that his adorable, jet black eyes gleam and his bright pink tongue hangs out when he sits down in front of me and pants like mad after he has just been running or doing something that is very active. The best thing about him is that he is always happy, consequently, he keeps me happy all the time and when I’m ‘down in the dumps’, he cheers me up. He has a true heart of gold.

Here is the story of how it all happened, I’m letting the cat out the bag because I’m sure that you’re bursting to hear it! 56. Shrey Biswas says:

I’d always imagined Jamie as one of those magic talking dogs that cheered you up when you’re down, or plays football with you. But, Jamie was just a normal, ordinary dog. Ah, but how wrong I was!
I had just come back from school, and was looking forward to a nice TV break. But, someone was usi- wait, Jamie was using it? I closed my eyes and counted to five. When I opened them, Jamie was standing up.
“Do you want your go now?” Jamie said in my mother’s voice.
    “I – Did… you…just – talk?”
“It appears to be he said in my voice
    “But – ’’
“Yeah, yeah, I’m a puppy, I’m not supposed to talk, all that nonsense.” It was dad’s voice this time. I was starting to understand how he was talking. He was mimicking our voices.
“Listen, Jamie. Let’s keep quiet about this or the billionaires will take you away.”
“You nicked the words right off my mouth.”

We never told a soul as we grew up. I became a tall, agile man, while Jamie became a slim, sleek dog. But, a secret can never be fully kept and word got out Jamie could talk. And it was finally discovered Jamie had a bionic implant fused to his nervous system that gave him his mimicking abilities. It turned out he could also mimic actions. And then, the Army realised that he could be taught to mimic an army soldier, and could be ‘used’ to destruct the country’s forces. Jamie was classified as a dangerous and possibly deadly… enemy.

    My talking dog
I always imagined I had a real talking dog. I used to cuddle my golden soft toy dog thinking could it ever be possible? A real talking dog. Sometimes I thought my dog was real, I washed it, and I gave it pretend food. One day my mum thought to get me a real dog.
As soon as I received my dog I ran to my room, slammed the door behind me and took my dog out of the box and named it Skipper when someone called out “Skipper? I love that name,” I looked around no one said anything; I looked at Skipper and said “who said that?”
“It was me, “said Skipper and I was so shocked I couldn’t believe it was really true.
    THE END

  58. Hi, I’m Lilly, the talking dog. I know, I can talk, and type, and write, but, that’s normal. All dogs can talk. Well, sort of. They can’t exactly speak, but you can understand what your dog is saying by their eyes. Like if their sad, they do sad eyes, and you can tell your dog is upset. That’s what I used to do. Speak by my eyes. This is where my story begins:
All my life I had been sitting in an old disgusting and badly looked after pet shop. I had heard all sorts of languages spoken there. The owners of the pet shop lived in the revolting place. At night, nobody went to bed. In the day, nobody brought us from the dump, but came inside to speak to the horrible people who owned it, Bob and Sam. And that’s why one day, the shop shut down. Dog trust, people who look after non looked after dogs, walked past our shop, and heard us barking. They peeked through the shop window and saw how much of a terrible state it was in. They came inside to speak to Bob and Sam. They had a long conversation about shutting it down and they both gave in. The point is that everyday, I heard so much people speaking, I even learnt how to read and write, not only to speak. I now live with Dog trust. They look after us all, and we don’t have to be kept in cages. When we were in the pet shop, we didn’t even know each other. Now, we are all best friends.
Now you know how to understand your dog without it having to learn to speak, but also, you know how most dogs would have learnt to speak.

  59. Rolly

One morning Mummy and Daddy decided that we were to get a family dog .
They said we were to leave in one hour and I had to get ready super quick. I was so excited that I almost went through the roof!

We got to Battersea Dogs home where we were greeted by a nice lady called Emma. Emma showed us around and explained about all the poor cats and dogs that were staying with them at the moment.
She took us to a kennel that housed a lovely dog called Rolly . When I looked through the bars I fell in love with him straight away !
He had a scruffy blond beard and spikey eyebrows. And his eyes….my word they were the biggest and most beautiful brown eyes I had ever seen!

Mummy and Daddy were taken into another room where they discussed things with Emma about what was involved with taking Rolly home. I sat outside Rolly’s kennel and just looked into his big brown eyes. He was perfect and just so lovely.
Mummy and Daddy came out of the office and the final decision had been made. We were taking him home…..Rolly was ours!

Rolly sat next to me in the back of the car and snuggled up close…..he was so warm and had such soft fur I couldn’t stop stroking him.
We finally got home and settled Rolly in to our home…..his new home.
For the rest of the day we played in the garden and had the best of days….I wouldn’t have changed it for the world.

The next morning something really amazing happened. Rolly spoke to me! Yes honestly he actually spoke to me! It sounds amazing but he did.
I was standing in the kitchen and I was busily getting my breakfast ready and just chattering to Rolly about all sorts of things. I then asked if he wanted some breakfast.
Oh my goodness he said yes.
I thought at first that it was my imagination but he repeated the word again.
In fact he said, “Could I have some warm goats milk please Robyn, that’s my favourite”.
I couldn’t believe it and turned around to my Mummy and Daddy expecting them to be as surprised as I was. But they weren’t. They just sat there and continued their conversation and breakfast as if they hadn’t heard a thing.

I looked down at Rolly, and he explained why only I could hear him.
He said that I was an ‘animal person’, which means that I could understand special animals when they spoke . I felt so wonderful that my new best friend could only speak to me.

We walked outside into the garden and I asked Rolly all sorts of things. Mummy and Daddy suddenly walked into the garden and asked who I was talking to. I just smiled and quickly said, “oh Mum I’m just mumbling away to myself, sorry”. Mummy laughed and said I was as daft as a brush and she walked back into the kitchen.
I looked down at Rolly and he gave me a doggy smile because only the two of us knew the real answer!

    DAPHNE BLAKE

As I walked down the street I found a dog, actually it was a stray puppy. It had no collar or anything. I tried to walk away from it, because I knew that stray dogs may carry all kinds of deceases that can pass on to humans, but its sad, beady eyes beckoned to me. I got closer and it stood up. Then I noticed that one of its hind legs stayed down. The young fluffy puppy looked a bit shaky, so I picked him up and it seemed to relax. Then I decided to run home with the dog in my arms and leave him rest on the sofa.
A few minutes later, I jogged outside and quickly walked to the pet store nearby. There I found the dog aisle and bought four bags of dog food and a dog bed. I rapidly paid for them and ran home again.
There he was staring at me as I walked into the room, so I gently picked him up. He greedily licked my hands and, at that moment, I knew he was very hungry.
The next day I took him to the vets because of his leg, of course. As they lifted the puppy away, they told me it was a girl and “She” just needed a little operation.
Finally, I realised I hadn’t given her a name. I would call her Daphne, Daphne Blake.
Now she’s ten, and looks old, but I will never forget the first time I saw her.

  61. Ryan Wong says:

    My dog can talk!

This story starts with a man and a dog. The man loves making potions what are very helpful to people, and he gets paid for it. He made a secret potion. The man started to get older and older, now he knew it was the right time to pour some potion onto the dog, after a bright sparkle the dog started to speak.
    “Yay it works!”shouted the man
    “What worked?”asked the dog
“My potion, it made you talk,”replied the man. The man was happy that his potion worked. He started to make everyone jealous that his dog could talk.

He took the dog out on a hike to get some exercise. They went into the woods.
    “I don’t like this,”said the dog
“There is nothing to fear in the woods,”the man said confidently. They walked deeper into the woods when he noticed his dog was missing. He yelled out loud but he never heard a sound. He went searching across the woods and field, until he came across his dog. He was very happy that he found him, because otherwise his life would have been sad.

  62. Meet my dog Barker, Barker is a normal do. He has a sister, Bella, they are very energetic, they love running in the park, especially Barker. I was waking Barker out when I suddenly heard a noise. It wasn’t me! I turned around and saw Barker talking to himself
    “Oh what a lovely day!”
I was shocked. My words disappeared from my mouth. I ran home with Barker and spread the word.
My dad was breathless and my mum, she was amazed.
“He’s brilliant! He talks!” screamed Lauren
“Well done! Woof, woof!” Woofed Bella with great joy,

    The End.

  63. Will Chow says:

Today the most weirdest thing of my life happened today! Do you want to hear it because I bet you like it a lot.

One day I was going to feed my dog Toby when suddenly I heard someone say hello to me, I looked around with a strange look on my face then I heard it again. I stared at my dog Toby shrugging at him then I put his dog food on the ground then I said “Bye!” and he said back to me “See you later!” I turned around in wonder, my dog can actually talk! I thought. I thought that I was just mad so walked up to him and said “How are you?” and he replied “Good, how are you?” I was so freaked out that I fainted. “Are you alright?” asked the dog nervously, after having a little faint, but I just screamed and ran all around the garden like a bull while the dog just sat and stared. Then I started to calm down and soon it was just like nothing happened, so I started to make my way to the black, fluffy dog. With a certainly nervous feeling and with all my might I spoke to the dog and said “So you can talk?” and he barked back “Yes I can!” Right that second I had a spectacular thought “If you can talk can’t you act like a human?” I asked, rubbing my chin “Yes I can do all sorts of human stuff! I can even do a hand stand with one hand!” the dog boasted, proudly “So if you can do human stuff does that mean you can play video games?” I asked hatching a wide smile “Yes I can play video games!” Toby replied “So then let’s play video games!” I yelled at the top of my throat. As quick as a flash me and the dog was inside the warm, cosy house playing video games all was fine when my mum came in and interrupted are game but the worst part of all was when she spoke these three terrifying words “Bed time now!” Me and the dog stared at each other and screamed “NO!” But you can guess what happened, mum threw the dog out of the house and I was sent to bed. Suddenly the whole place was black! “AHH!” I screamed with terror but I was in my bed watching my clock, I looked down at my dog in his bed so I went back to bed and snoozed till I heard “Good morning!” Not again I thought.
So if you ever have a dog just remember that even though it can’t talk it will still be your best friend.

But then Toby managed to calm him down again and gave him another biscuit and mumbled “good boy “the little dog would not stop following him so he eventually had to take him home but Toby’s mother didn’t think it was a good idea she told Toby” you know Toby a dog takes a lot of care and love and work and if you are ready to do that then yes you can have the dog” “yeah” Toby cried “thank you so much mum but then they both didn’t know he could talk.

It was an unusual day when I was strolling through the park with my respectful dog called Lucas. When suddenly, a ear drum cracking sound began to occur ,then somehow Lucas reacted to it. Since he always obeys me ,I bellowed out to him and called, “Lucas , come back you don’t know at is behind there!” But in an instant he did not resist the sound and started following where the sound was coming from. His black and white skin blew through the breezy wind, me wishing it was going to pull Lucas back . As it reached night Lucas came running back, whimpering. I asked what was wrong, and normally he would “woof” but this time he replied back with a normal human voice. This was extremely freaky, but I tried to stay calm as a cool cute cuddly teddy bear,

    The Dog Can Talk
One gloomy, dark ,terrifying night a mysterious, mystical dog jumped out from nowhere .She was black all over except for her blue aquamarine eyes which had fur as white as snow around them. I had been staring at her for a long and decided to play with it.
“Oh what a cute little dog you are,” I exclaimed admiringly .
“I already knew I was cute ,” she protested with great pride. She could talk, the dog (who was too big for her paws)could talk; I was speechless unlike the bragging dog. She kept talking about how wonderful she was. This world is full of weird things.

I didn’t notice this before, but, my dog can talk! It happened yesterday when my friend Jimmie came over to play. We were playing catch in the garden. Then suddenly, we heard a voice saying, “Hi Jimmie!”

I knew it wasn’t my mum because she was shopping on the high street, getting dinner. Jimmie and I went inside, there was no one there except my dog, Jumble who was sitting on the couch.

Jimmie and I just said, “Must have been the wind…” but then we heard it again. This time it was much louder! I said to Jimmie, “It must be someone in this room!” Jimmie and I looked across the entire room but all we could find was Jumble!

“It could be Jumble who is speaking,” Jimmie wondered. “Don’t talk nonsense, Jimmie,” I replied. “Look I’ll show you he can’t talk!” So I walked up to Jumble and said, ”Can you say hi Jimmie?” Unexpectedly, a voice came back and said “Yes I can say ‘hi Jimmie’ but, we need to keep it a secret” .

I’ve got a dog who can talk, but, I can’t tell anybody else!

He has something about him that no other dog has. He can talk!! I feel really special that I have a dog that can talk, I really need to tell mum about this I thought.
“Mum, I have some big news for you and I am sure you would want to hear it.”
“Come on, tell me, I really need to know about this!”
    “Ok, Timmy can talk!!!
“What!? Wait, did you just say that our dog can talk?
“Yes.” Mum is shocked by this, it looked like she had fainted. I was thinking whether Mum might tell someone which might lead to Timmy being taken away, but for now I can enjoy talking to Timmy. We went out for walks in the near by park, the sun struck the heat onto us and I became very sweaty.
    “Timmy let’s go home now.”
“Fine we can go and rest back at the house.” I liked having something to talk to now that would actually have an idea of what I was saying. When reached the house we were shocked to see that someone had found out about Timmy’s secret and it was on the news. This was disaster.!”Oh no, we cannot let Timmy be taken away!he is my only mate.”
In a short while someone was knocked on our door and said” We know you have a talking dog. Where is he?”
“Fine take him but remember he is my best buddy you are taking him away .I have lived with him for a long time so please think about this.” The people at the door were kind and felt that it wasn’t a good thing to do ,so they said”Actually, you are right you should keep him, sorry.”

“That was definitely not the wind,” I said. Then Jimmy said something ridiculous!
“Might have been Jumble,” he said.
“What?” I said in hysterics, “Look, I will show you he can’t talk!” I walked up to Jimmie and said, “say hi Jimmie!”

So the next day I went to school but I couldn’t help but tell everyone, some people laughed some people just smirked but then when I got home, mum asked me if there was anything new to tell her about… I tried to keep it in but I couldn’t then suddenly I spilled the beans and told her everything about our dog’ she laughed and said “sure our dog can talk” obviously laughing still I said “got ya it was a joke” obviously knowing it wasn’t. That evening my dog said “thanks” for keeping it a secret I still am 4 years later its hard work though maybe Mum and Dad will find out one day hopefully not from me.

“Brownie! Come here you crazy ball of fluff!” Lizzie shouted while she put on her lace embroidered, summer dress that she bought from her favourite fashion shop. Brownie was sprinting around the Greenwood’s household – barking like mad. As Lizzie slipped on her cream, silky, elegant high-heels, she fastened the lead on Brownie’s collar. Surprisingly, Brownie did not try and run away – she walked beautifully down the path with her head held high. “Brownie, what’s up with you? You don’t seem like your usual self.” Lizzie worried as she lay down on the soft, clean grass that was scattered with daises. Her puppy only nodded his head as if he was saying yes to Lizzie, but when she pulled out her book and buried her nose in it, a voice came from in front of her. “Wow Lizzie, what is that book called?” Alarmed by this strange noise, Lizzie dropped her book and stared at Brownie in awe. Lizzie called out to him, “Um…..Hello?” But inside she was screaming, “You can talk! You can talk!” The next thing she knew, Lizzie found herself in a deep conversation with this funny creature about books and films and the latest authors. Then Lizzie told Brownie that she loved one of the endings in her book… ‘The end is just the beginning!’

  77. When I was a tiny toddler my mum surprised me by providing a minuscule, furry, black and white puppy. His fur was as soft as a ball of the highest quality cotton wool. A lustrous black nose, that appeared similar to a button revealed itself under the glistening hairs that hid it. I named him Scratch because of the way he scratches around the place, so it’s easy to see where he’s been! He makes me laugh because of the way that his adorable, jet black eyes gleam and his bright pink tongue hangs out when he sits down in front of me and pants like mad after he has just been running. The best thing about him is that he is always happy. Consequently, he keeps me happy all the time and when I’m ‘down in the dumps’, he cheers me up. He has a true heart of gold.

Here is a true and amazing story of how he began to talk, I’m letting the cat out of the bag because I’m sure that you’re bursting to hear it! One day, as I was taking Scratch for a walk, we were playing fetch when the ball landed on a notably large flower that seemed to somehow be twinkling. Scratch didn’t care, he only cared about the ball and when he dropped the ball down next to me to throw it again, instead of barking, he shouted: “Throw it again, throw it again!” I was astonished. Rooted to the spot. Blank. Until he nudged me hard, so I threw the ball. After that, he started speaking a lot! Would he ever stop talking?

Jeff was in the park, dumping his new board game in the luscious, emerald green grass ruining the view. His height was tall enough to throw his old game in; he peeled an orange and let the fragrance
release and gave a thought about telling the class about his new PS3 that came out today. Jeff put on his blue hoodie, which he was seen whenever he was outside his mansion, bought by his filthy rich parents, and frowned ignorantly at his parents approaching him.”WHÀAAT DO YOOOU WANT !”he snapped ruthlessly, his father sighed and explained a word before his mother stopped him;she explained,”We have bought you something”
throwing his orange at a bird he dashed up and said energetically”WHAAAAT ,TELL ME!”
    “DOG!!!” they hopefully said.
Sadly he frowned and caused a tantrum on the floor; this was because he wanted it to be turquoise.Turning around to the parents they heard”Whats happend to Jeff?”
Surprised he yelled “I NEEEED TO BE VEEEEEERY GRATEFUL NOW!”
He now learnt to be grateful for his things and loved his dog and wished he hadn’t cut up the snake.

Some of the oldest only wanted to have a home and stopped all younger ones to calm down. After a few days all the stressful puppies had finally a home to live in including Ben,he had an unbelievably awesome time there. A strong and helpful puppy then a magical miracle happened . The cool boy was doing all his dog work until the puppy spoke actually spoke.”can i help you”the puppies asked The boy eventually said “wow unbelievable I am not saying this to my mum!” As soon as he said those words the puppy was in a miserable mood.”Hey whats wrong?’ the boy asked. “Nothing” the puppy soon cried

One gloomy day,I was lying on my bed, I thought the day couldn’t get even worse.
My best lego set had smashed, I had a row with my brother and rugby club was cancelled today, because the coach was ill.
I strutted downstairs, and went to watch some TV, but as I switched the TV on, I heard talking in the garden.
I was curious, and wanted to investigate, so I trudged into the garden, and saw the most spellbinding sight. There in my very garden, was my pet dog talking to next door’s pet puppy!
This sight made my day, so I merrily marched up to my room, whistling.

    My Dog can talk!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was everywhere. The unbelievable news that my 8-year old dog could talk!It all happened on Monday………..

7:30am at PJ27 YLZ[postcode!].I was eating my breakfast when my dog[a Mexican hairless named Bullet] thundered into the Dining room. He bore a tough, white bone in his mouth which he was planning to bury in the back garden at noon. Then, he said something that sounded like ‘bone’. I was truly awestruck!I then took the bone out of his powerful jaws and asked ‘What did you say?’.He replied ‘Bone!’. ‘This should be kept a secret’ I thought. At school, I could not concentrate on my studies because of the unexpected happening. When I got home,I was looking like my head was up in the clouds,so,my mum asked what was wrong.I then explained what happened this morning.By the end of it,her jaw was on the floor. And that is how we noticed my dog could actually talk.

I’ll tell you all a story that you probably wouldn’t believe

I had a dog called Sparky, he was a Golden Labrador. he was just a normal dog that couldn’t speak. One day, Sparky and I were on a walk by the beach when I suddenly heard a voice. ”Can we go home? It’s too hot out here”. I hadn’t a clue about who was talking. ” Who goes there?” I shouted. ”Me !” I was so confused. Then I heard the voice again. ”its me speaking, Sparky.” Then it struck me, SPARKY COULD TALK ! I was so confused that I blacked out. Luckily, Sparky dragged me home like one of those tired dogs on a leash.

Then I woke up, my mum was next to me on a chair and I was lay down in bed .Then she leant over and whispered. ”I know his secret and its safe with me”

    The End

  86. Aaron juhti says:

One scorching day something extraordinary happened, I was in my back garden playing catch with my dog, Tiger, a brown and black German shepherd. I threw a yellow tennis ball, which was as yellow as the sun. The tennis ball was promptly retreated by Tiger. Amazingly Tiger said ” I don’t want to play this anymore “. I suddenly froze, my dog just talked. I was so excited that I was jumping with joy. “Can you comprehend me” I said “of course” he said, “wow” I exclaimed as I smacked my hand with Tiger’s. The next day my dog said “look!!, a man, with saucepan eyes”. But that’s when I found out that the man wasn’t any man, he was My Dad!!! He was frozen with terror!!! A talking dog.

Big street dog’s are smelly ,pooing in the ground, and dogs are like goats. I want to hug a fairy soft dog walking at my face because dogs are pets. You can see black stripe dogs running in the ground, reaching the finish line even though I really like seeing dogs all the time. Dangerous dog always find you wherever you go. Dogs always barks if an intruder comes in. Fit dogs, extremely very talented in frightening people away.

  88. Shernet Chapline says:

Hi! I’m Alaihay and I am going to tell you about my talking dog. She is an obedient, chocolate Labrador named Honey. Leaving a trail of love in her wake. She is a very hearty canine and all who are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her, want Honey as much as a 90 kilogram block of gold.
We were out walking, and while I was cleaning up her mess some person shoved a quarter bar of chocolate into her mouth. BARK! I turned around to see a dark hazel puddle around her mouth. With all my might to keep her with me I hastily removed all traces from the naked eye. Desperately trying to capture the culprit I searched. Hours came and went but all I got were some suspicious glances. After thinking contently about a mug of hot cocoa Honey annoyingly muttered under her dogie breath,”Can we please just get out of the rain and cold.” Shock came and I blacked out. A nurse came and asked me what frightened me so much and I cautiously replied.”MY DOG CAN TALK.” After careful consideration the nurse called the supreme doctor and I was sent home. Years passed and as someone reported me I,m a million are. All Honey’s fault. I will never look the same way at any animal for the rest of my life.

  89. Unicorn says:

One screeching, hot day, I took my dog, Bella, for a walk. As we were walking down the street into the field, all of a sudden Bella ………..TALKED!!! She said ”I am thirsty.” My mind exploded. I did not know what to to do so I carefully poured some of my water on he floor. I told Bella that we should go home now. Her eyes started to fill with tears. As much as it hurt my heart to see her cry I had to go home and tell everyone I know. I have the most adorable, cute, special dog ever. ”I can’t believe she can talk.” I whispered to myself.

  90. Diya Jena says:

My dog can talk. I know, its weird, but not for me. Little Marley’s been able to talk since we got him, which was at two months old. Marley’s a pure cocker spaniel, with golden fur like the clouds covering the setting sun. Always his tail is wagging, a golden snake unable to control itself. Every time I take him out for a walk, he moans about it being too cold, or too warm, or too hard for him to walk. The only advantage to have a talking dog is that I know what it wants, straight away.
Besides being able to talk, Marley’s a typical, ordinary dog, chasing pigeons up waving trees, and scared of the sound of tiny waves splashing onto the beaches. He hardly protects me, and thinks only of himself.
Anyways, he’s only ONE of my extraordinary dogs.
