A long time ago, in South Africa all the beasts lived together with Lion as their King.
All the animals knew that if Lion was trapped they would have to free him.

One day, Mouse, who was walking along, heard a whining sound. Scuttling towards the sound Mouse found Lion bundled up in a net.
“Oh, pray, do help me Mouse, ” moand Lion “I have fallen into a trap. Let me out!”
“Why should I?” squeaked Mouse. “You and your animals bully me because of how weak and tiny I am. But I will free you if you promise to never bully animals just because you are big, strong and powerful.”

These words stung lion like a bee. So Mouse got to work. After one hour, Lion was free. Him and Mouse were good friends, and, do you know what ? Lion kept his promise.

    The Lion and the Mouse

It was a hot and humid day, the elephants were grazing on a patch of tall, dry grass and a ferocious vulture was circling a poor, defenceless mouse. The frightened creature ran for his dear life but everywhere the miniscule mouse hid the giant bird would find him.
One day the king of the Savannah was out catching his wife’s dinner, in the distance he saw the helpless, microscopic mouse scampering around the dusty, shrivelled land with a vicious vulture right behind it snapping at the petrified things tail. As quick as a flash he stopped chasing the springbok and sprinted like mad to rescue the little mouse. When he got there he saw the vile vulture approaching, so the lion opened his gaping jaws wide and let the mouse scamper wearily past him. As the mouse passed he snapped his enormous jaws down crushing the life out of the blood-thirsty bird! After that the mouse hopped over to the lion, and the lion lifted him up so that the mouse was more visible and the mouse squeaked “Thank You! Oh Thank You!”. And with that the grateful mouse trotted back to his family and the lion proudly strode home with his feast in his jaws ready to be eaten.
    The End.

  3. Joenoes says:

I was loitering idly in the blistering sand and with the sun glazing down at my furry face. All I could see is dust fluttering along side me like a ghostly phantom constantly glaring at me for some hideous reason.
The trees [ there are hardly any] where like freaky paranormal things that sometimes give me the creeps. I even imagine them being one four legs just skulking towards you to grind you up in an extremely forbidding way. So for me I keep away from them to stop those thoughts sampling all around my head.
I was lonely because [ it is pretty obvious] no one was there to comfort me and to play with me. I do try but whenever I try the other animals run away thinking that I am going to munch them up.
Luckily I have a small but mighty friend called M.R hobble. The reason why we became friends is… once I was getting chased by the cruel rhino but then M.R hobble stepped up for me and said “hey punk!”. The rhino just laughed. So he got offended and got a dust pan and brush and whacked him over and over again, eventually he ran away and became friends .The end

    The lion and the mouse
Once upon a time there lived a lion; this was no ordinary lion though. Back when he was a cub he was known as the future king of the jungle; but sadly he was one day kidnapped by illegal dealers and got shipped to another zoo. In the zoo the conditions were poor; He got fed once in a blue moon and survived on only pure grass. But one day he had a change for the better. The zoo closed because of finance issues and the animals had to be shipped out.
The lion was reluctant to be put on the ship because of what was on the other end the last time he was shipped out. He tried to squirm free but he couldn’t, he was trapped in the shipping box. The ship set sail and the lion gave up, but suddenly he heard a squeak and it was a mouse.
“Is anybody in here?” asked the mouse inquisitively.
    “Go away,” sniffed the Lion
“What’s the matter?” said the mouse wondering what was a matter.
“It’s just that the last time I was put on a shipping ship would was on the other end wasn’t exactly nice, “replied the lion.
“We’ll jump overboard and could swim to that island over there?” suggested mouse.
I would love to do it but I’m in this box,” replied the lion.
“No problem” said the mouse and stuck his pointy nose in the lock and undid it.
“Thanks mouse let’s go!” shouted the Lion.
“Wait second, I can’t swim.” Said Mouse.
You can pop in my mouth, I promise I won’t eat especially after you got me out the box” answered the Lion.
“Okay” said the mouse and they pounced off the ship and swam towards the island. When they washed up on the shore the lion let mouse out of his mouth and the lion said. “There’s something familiar about this place.” And they walked in land. They heard rustling in the bushes and suddenly a tiger came out of nowhere! The tiger attacked but the lion managed to dodge him and run away with mouse close behind him. But at that moment he realised something, this was his home! He ran to where he used to live and it was still there ran there and checked to see if anyone was there, but there wasn’t.
“ROAR!” Came a noise from behind him and he darted around to find his mum and dad standing there!
    “Mum, dad?” shouted the lion.
    “Son!” They shouted back.
“You’re alive? We’ve missed you so much.” They said.
“Me too, but I have someone to thank about getting here, mouse come here, meet mouse he encouraged me to jump off the ship.”
“Well young, mouse welcome to the family.” Said the dad lion.
“Thank you so much, you won’t regret it.” Said mouse.
Still to this day the lion and the mouse are best friends.

    A Discovery

One peaceful day in the meadow, the lusious, emerald grass was gently flowing in the breeze of the wind, when there was a line of scatter in the grass. This broke the flow of the gentleness…and out popped a miniture sized door mouse. At the time, I was sitting on a bench watching the mouse. I just lived behind the bench in a red brick cottage, only a few meters away. I sat there watching this mouse until sunset and then I realised just before I had left for supper a tiny voice! I bent down nearer and nearer to the mouse as it got louder and louder. Then the mouse whispered something I had never heard before,
“Lets go on an adventure!”the mouse scurried away. I raced after it like i was running for my life! Being free in the meadows was amazing, a feeling that i had never felt before! All the punishments and the sacrifices that I have had is cruel and in this moment I had forgot all about them.
    Then,
“AAAAARRRRRGGggghhhhh…!”I fell down a long never ending tunnel of madness! It was like alice in wonderland all over again!!!! When i finally reached the bottom of the cave- tunnel thing, I was in a dress! (when I was in the fields I was wearing dungerees!) and I was face-to-face with a humungous lion taller than me! I saw out of the corner of my eye a small mouse! I was so relieved, with joy! (Totally forgetting the lion!)

I turned around and ran to the mouse to pick him up only to discover that the mouse , with its huge eyes, crying in sorrow. Then I looked closer to discover he was almost cut completely in half! I didnt know what to do! I was in a jungle I had nowwhere to go! all I could see was trees and monkeys. Next I remembered a horrible reminder of a huge, loud,
“RRROOOAAARRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!”I turned around again to see the beast, to discover that when the lion came over it helped the mouse! It acually HELPED the mouse! I was shocked and suprised i thought it was going to eat both of us in one gulp. It bandaged the poor mouse with leaves and cared for it with fresh water and fish from the nearby pond.

A few weeks laterthe mouse was perfectly fine and promised the lion that it would help it no matter what it is he will do any thing he asked.t The lion bowed his head and gentley said,
“Dear mouse, thank you and i honour this favor for a favor dear mouse ,thank you.” He slowly strolled of as he didnt say another word just pure silence in the jungle…it was so that following week me and the mouse saw that poachers had captured the lion and was about to kill him! Some how the small but confident mouse hopped along and amazingly knocked out ALL of the poachers by either bitting them or giving them tics.(which acually killed some of them!)the lion wa sshocked this little mouse actually saved his life!!That was when i discovered something amazing…….

    the meaning of friendship…

  7. Bolu says:

It was one fine, sunny morning, Leon the lion, who is the king of the jungle, was inspecting his beautiful land, when suddenly right in front of him was a sleeping mouse. Leon lifted the mouse up thinking it was dead and was about to swallow it whole when the mouse woke up. The mouse, trembling with fear, realized that he was about to be eaten so he started to beg for Leon not to eat him. “King Leon please don’t eat me,” pleaded the mouse.” I will do anything to stay alive.” “Anything?” asked Leon.
    “Yes, anything,” replied the mouse.
“Then come with me to the old water hole, if you want to stay alive; you need to dig a 6 foot hole at the front of the tree that is next to the water hole. In the hole, you will find a chest filled with expensive treasure. You will not just stay alive, you can have half of that treasure, and you have to dig with your bear hands, you have 72 hours to complete this task, are you going to do it?” asked Leon.
“Of course I will do it,” replied the mouse.
So off they went to the old water hole.

When they both got to the old water hole, the mouse started digging straight away. He didn’t stop for 5 hours (not even to take a rest!). The next day, the mouse had already dug 4 feet. Leon was so impressed that the mouse had dug 4 feet. 6 hours later, the mouse had finished digging and had the chest full of treasure. He opened it and took half of the amount of treasure. Leon was so impressed that he made friends with the mouse. He also learnt that the mouse’s name was Freddie.

Freddie and Leon lived happily ever after.

  8. Eshika Koonjul says:

In Africa there was a hungry lion crawling through the Savannah, a plain green land. Leo, the lion was hunting for his prey. A sandy path lay before him then a mouse scurried along the path. Leo was in the mouse’s way and then Monty, the mouse shouted to Leo “Can you get out of my way , I’m getting late for work!”Leo responded back in a loud, deep voice”Nobody would dare to talk to me like that because I’m the king of the jungle!”
The mouse looked at his watch , he was getting even more late so he squeaked again saying “Get that big lump of you out of my way!” Then Leo got Monty in his furry, big, orange paw. Monty struggled to get out and he squealed for immediate help but nobody could hear this tiny, grey mouse. Leo asked Monty knew where meat was sourced. Poor Monty was trapped in this large paw,he had no choice but to show Leo where the meat was kept and then Monty would be late . They went through a different path where the scorching, shimmering sun shone against them. There was a massive food source just full of delicious meat. Leo ate a bit and then Monty looked at his watch and said “Dear me,I’m very late, almost an hour!”Leo thought to himself that he should return a favour and said “Why don’t I you on my back and I can take you to your place you need to be to return the favour of bringing me to the meat source?” Monty said okay to that decision.
They left the meat source and Monty hopped onto Leo’s back and they became friends and said if they needed any help they would ask each other for help. Leo went back to the meat and brought it to his family and told them the story of what happened with Monty and their friendship together.

  9. Nicola says:

“Hello, my name is Molly the mouse, and I’m investigating where this tooth has come from,” said the tiny grey mouse.  “It’s a sharp and hard tooth, so can you help me, please?” she asked the her mice friends who were close by.

In prehistoric times there lived a pride of lions, but this did not look like a normal lion’s tooth.  These prehistoric lions had sharp and hard teeth that could cut you. Sometimes, their teeth are as sharp as knives, and contain powers inside them.

“Once, I was bitten by one of those lions.  They’re called Twoppies, and people know them as Terrifying Twoppies.  They lived in dark, gloomy, terrifying caves, and beware, there are still some around. If you find any of the Twoppie’s teeth, you need to let me know, so I can investigate and establish exactly where these animals are living.”

“Why are you looking for these Twoppies?” asked an elderly mouse.

“I’m looking for a very special Twoppie,  her name is  Lexy and she has special powers,” Molly replied.

  10. Dominic Cousins says:

The colossal king lion roared out as he stumbled. He turned around only to see a midget mouse. He scooped up the tiny specimen of a creature with his thunderous paw and held it in his pad. For a moment they both gazed into each other’s eyes, with anger and with fear, but soon the lion realised that the tiny creature was here to team up, to help him defeat his dad’s mighty brother. At speed they dashed off with no fear at all to the cave of the spiteful king.
Suddenly, the king ran outside to see what it was… They were lucky that they were disguised.

  11. Grace says:

In Africa, near the most hot, blazing sun, there was a lion and a mouse. They were the best of friends since they were born. They never parted from each other because they stuck together like glue. Wherever the lion went the mouse went and wherever the mouse went the lion went. Other animals teased the mouse because they thought he was defendless and the lion could not see or hear him most of the time.
One day, the lion and the mouse were finding food, (together) then they saw the other animals chatting to each other happily.
“So we are going to through a surprise birthday party for lion,” giraffe said.
“But what about mousse?” snake slithered.
“Mouse is not going to this birthday party,” tiger snarled, “Although they are born on the same day, everyone calls lion ‘king of the jungle’ and because mouse is his best friend every animal in Africa knows him!”
“Ssso the point isss that if lion isss our bessst friend, we could be famousss in the jungle to!” snake exclaimed.
    “Quick!” said zebra “Their coming!”
“Hey guys, we just saw you planning something out and lion and I just want to see what you are up to,” mouse said casually.
“None of your buisssn…,” but before snake could finish his sentence he shut his mouth.
“I mean we need to borrow your friend,” snake corrected himself.
So the lion went with the other animals to see why they were making such a big fuss.
After two weeks, it was mouse and lions birthday. They could not wait to see what their friends had set up. Lion did not know that some of the animals were jealous of mouse.
As lion and mouse were entering their home, all of the animals came out of their hiding place and shouted: “Surprise!” “Happy birthday lion!”
And when they did not mention mouse’s name he walked out of the room, feeling dejected.
When the party had finished, lion found his friend sitting on a rock, looking unhappy.
“Oh, mouse you know I want to get you but two animals were blocking the door like they were blocking our friendship.” Lion said unhappily. “So I decided to set up a party just for two of us.”
“Really?” Mouse said “Oh thank you Lion you are really a great friend!”
So when they had finished hugging each other they went to their house and enjoyed their mini party.

  12. Benj says:

The scene was set, in the blazing heat of the savanah. A whispering wind gliding swiftly through the air, creating a cool breeze. The harsh wheater from the sun was as hot as an oven, beaming blindingly on the dusty savanah. Under the shade of a tree as tall as the empire state building, was a lounging lion licking his puffy paws. His cubs Benji and Leo, playing joyfully in the heat of the sun. Lying beside the lion was a minuscule fury mouse, the mouse look like something the greedy lion has sickly regurgatated. Pesty fly, buzzing down on the mouse, only to be knock away by his trusty companion, the sharp teeth lion. Sometimes the mouse would wriggle into the silk like mane and fall asleep. Suddenly a group of poachers came , camaflouge like the swaying long dead grass. Quickly the lion sprinted at a incredible speed, his paws touching the dusty ground without a glimmer of a trace. The mouse petrified, finding himself peering at the men. Disturbed from his beauty sleep. He was distraught!
Eventually, after tercherous hours of running the lion came to a grinding halt. Exhausted, the lion stopped on the floor, panting like a dog. Dark was falling over the savanah revealing more dangerous animals such as the laughing hyena scavenging for any mouldy or dead carcasses…….The sun arose over the ginormous Mount Kilamanjaro, with candy floss like clouds.
“Do you think we could find your pride?” asked the mouse inquisitively.
“I truly don’t know” replied the lion in a low bellow. “We will just have to wake and see”

  13. Thomas says:

It was a bright, sunny day and there was a lion and a mouse playing it. I know it’s weird but they’re best friends. The lion was a proud animal but it only ate grass. The mouse was a cute animal which adored fruit and it would often be seen eating an apple. They were chasing each other but they soon got very hungry and thirsty so they headed to the lion’s home. “Mum, can we have snacks?” the lion called. His mum then quickly brought them snacks, however the mouse was given a fake apple deliberately! He was livid and the minute creature stormed out of the house. He was very discombobulated at why this happened. He wasn’t happy so he started to plot revenge.

When the mouse woke up the next day a brilliant idea struck him. He decided to complete his trick today but not speak about it. “Pranke ya!” laughed the lion. The mouse was disgusted but carried on being nice to the lion. The next day soon arrived and he woke up bright and early. He had dug a hole in the well, which took him a little while, and would escape through it during this prank. He was very pleased and thought he was as clever as Albert Einstein. The little figure jumped into the well ready for action.

“Help! Help!” screamed the mouse and not to his surprise the lion emerged with a worried look. “I’m stuck, get me out!” wept the mouse. Without thinking the lion jumped into the well. Sneakily, the mouse than slid through the hole and called “Pranked ya,” intimidatingly. Of course this kind character wouldn’t leave him so he got a stick and pulled him out. They were best friends again and never played another prank. The moral of this story is, treat others how you wanted to be treated yourself.

  14. Chris says:

Around the sixteen hundreds, in the grassy plains of Sahara were two fearsome armies. It was between the terrifying lions and minute mice. Somehow they never really got to become best friends until one day…

It all started with another brutal battle when a brave gang of mice suddenly trapped the leader of the lions. Unfortunately, the lion couldn’t fight back and was so sent immediately sent to prison. It was lonely there, no lions to talk to, and not even any parties. This made the lion’s anger grow until he aggressively bellowed to the police guards “ Let me out NOW!”
“Well why should we? You’ve been portraying us and taking over our beloved territories.” Replied the guard in a shy voice.
“Then we will stop to become best friends and conquer the world together.” suggested the King of the lions.
“Deal!” Cried the petite little mouse. From that day both teams joined together to form a humongous army and ruled the country.

    The lion and the mouse

On the hot dry Nevada desert a small mouse crawls out from underneath a boiling hot stone…
He has to have a drink or it is death…
You can see the reason he needs a drink,
Well let me go further in the reason this is all happening is because he has been stuck under a rock for the last…
    127 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then as he makes his first step out he sees a,
    Lion!!
The lion says “ok,by the looks of things you look thirsty”,”yeah” the mouse exclaimed…
    Quite sarcastically.!
So the lion said,”I have got this thing behind the cave we are standing on”,”you coming”,”yeah” said the mouse.
    It was a…
    TIME MACHINE!!!
But before the mouse could say anything they were whisked into time and space…
(They turned up at quite a few places)
    1.)Anciet Byzantine
    Nope.
    2.)Future mars
    Nope.
    3.)The trenches
    Nope.
    4.)The blitz
    Nope.
    This took about 3000 years!!
Well they were only going through dimensions for 2 minuets
Then they finally found the right place to go to
    CRIMEA 1853
The battle between British and Russian troops raged in fury,
Lion and mouse looked up in horror,
Then they saw the lake bravely charging through the battle they eventually reached the HUGE pond.
Then while the mouse drank as thirstily as he could the lion spoke up to stay “STOP!!!”
    The fighting men stopped,
    They applauded,
The world was united happily again.

  16. Rachel.O says:

One blazing hot day in the jungle lived a little mouse called Joey this mouse had lots of mice in his family so he found it quite difficult to find food for them all. Every day he tried his best to get as much food as he can, but all he comes back with is a measly amount of food.
One day when he was scurrying along the long dry grass he saw something hairy and orange in front of him, it was a lion’s paw!!
Joey was the youngest in his family and he was scared of a lot of things especially lions. So he set of back home, but then he remembered his family and food. If he came back with nothing he was sure they would kill him.
So he turned back round and quietly tiptoed past lion, but the lion noticed him anyway and picked him up in his paw. And he said ‘’ you look like a tasty treat for supper, come with me ‘’ But the mouse said ‘’ No No , I need to fetch food for my family they’ll be worrying about me by now, and if you eat me we can’t be best friends. You know we can be best friends.
“BEST FRIENDS’’ The lion shrieked ‘’ We will never be best friends in a million years’’ The lion started laughing so much that he dropped the mouse and the mouse scurried away finding two beetles a cockroach and a cricket on the way. Joey’s family were quite happy with what he brought but they said he could do better next time.
Joey wasn’t listening to what they were saying, he was thinking about what lion said. We can be best friends he thought and I’ll prove that.
The next day was a windy day, but Joey didn’t mind, he set out to try and find food for his family. It was getting colder and colder by the minute and Joey was feeling quite ill, but then he heard moaning and groaning, he followed the sound and realized it was lion making that sound.
The lion was making that sound because he was trapped in a cage. Joey decided to help him. He scampered through a gap in the cage and he insisted on the lion telling what had happened. So the lion told him that he was wandering about and a hunts man caught him and trapped him in a cage to be shot.
The mouse was shocked at this and said to the lion ‘’ I have a plan!’’
The plan was to go to the hunts mans pocket, find the key, come back, unlock the padlock and the lion will be free. The lion agreed this was a good plan. So the mouse tried it out and it worked, the lion was free!
The lion thanked the mouse and said they could be best friends. So they were.

The lion went home and realized he always had leftovers, so he gave the leftovers to Joey and his family. Joey and his family thanked the lion gratefully and said he was a lovely lion.
And the mouse and the lion always had happy days from that day on.

  17. In the jungle of Madagascar their lived two best friends Leo the Lion and Mob the mouse. Both of them loved going on adventures, the first adventure they had was in New York where they visited The Statue of Liberty. China was their second adventure over there they bought a huge fan. But their third was yet to come.

For their third adventure they were going to Italy by plane. Their hearts pounded with excitement as their plane landed in Pisa Airport. The first thing they did was, to visit a nearby famous restaurant and eat a delicious slice of pizza (which Italy’s famous for). After this they visited the popular tourist sites, including the leaning tower of Pisa, where they climbed 700 feet, feeling very dizzy. It all was so fun but now it was time that Leo and Mob departed for the airport to leave for home. On their way to the airport they had to take a tube from the station and get down at the airport. They reached the airport within fifteen minutes. It was very busy and Mob was in Leo’s bag in that confusing place where everybody was pushing and shoving Mob fell out of Leo’s bag……..
Will the two friends ever meet again?

  18. Hannah says:

As the mouse shuffled through the glowing forest an arrogant lions eyes met with those of the petite mouse. The lion immediately felt the urge to boast about himself, how well he hunted and why he was king of the forest. Whilst the lion talked about himself ice cold eyes stared deeply into the mouse’s twitching eyes. “I challenge you to a hunting competition, whoever finds the most animals wins,” challenged the Lion.
“Ok, “squeaked the mouse as his throat began to tighten.

    “START!!!” roared the lion.

Viciously, the lion glared at the mouse then pounced into the gloomy forest. Immediately, he began leaping at each animal though strangely each one of them managed to escape. Whilst the lion carried on trying to catch his prey the mouse decided to set up many traps hoping that he would catch with these. He was correct many animals ran through his traps. Twitching the mouse plodded out the forest to meet the lion.

Immediately seeing the mouse’s big smile the lion knew who won and realized how cocky he had been. From that day on he became kind and caring character who was never cocky again.

  19. Jake Hallworth says:

    THE LION AND THE MOUSE

Once upon a time, there was a lively jungle, in which there lived a family of every type of animal on earth. But, there was one animal, the king of the jungle, that every animal (even his own wife sometimes (if he was angry)) feared… THE LION ! Do you want to know why? Well, he was once having a nap, when Jeff the mouse accidently … w-o-k-e–h-i-m–U-P!! HE WAS ONE ANGRY LION ! In fact, he was so angry he nearly ate the poor mouse, but Jeff pleaded like he would never stop and the lion took pity on him. Subsequently, he let the innocent mouse go. In return Jeff promised to do something in return. The lion liked this!

One day, as the lion was proudly prancing about…CCCRRRAAASSSHHH!!!
He fell into a net. Instinctively, he started howling for help but no one, not even his wife, was courageous enough to go and help him. All except Jeff, who remembered the promise he’d made. He scampered through the animals feet, crawled up a tree, leaped onto the net, crawled to the bottom of it, and gnawed away at it until the lion was free; and they all lived happily ever after.

    THE END

  20. rosie says:

“Mercy!” Cried the petrified mouse. “Mercy! I’m begging you!”
“Ha, Ha!” replied the evil eagle, calmly. “I have you now…”
“Roar!” Came an almighty bellow from amongst the trees.
“You’re on your own now, sucker!” Snarled the eagle, flying away as fast as its great wings could carry him. Meanwhile, the lion was slowly ,almost cautiously, advancing towards the poor, stray mouse who was no doubt about it scared out of it wits. As soon as the loin was within speaking distance it whispered; “Come, follow me, it is not safe to speak here.” Hesitantly, the mouse followed, making sure to keep a distance , just in case.
They ventured further and further into the woods;so far in fact that the trees were now blocking out most of the light so it was hard to see. Then they came to a halt. Suddenly, the lion whispered “come and eat with me and my family while we talk.” It was clear as day what the main course was but the little trust gained by lion took over in the mouse’s mind. Well, at least it is a happy ending for the lion and family. For now, anyway.

    Goodbye.

  21. On a hot and cloudy day in Africa there was a miniscule mouse called Fred, playing with his loving fun family. After playing happily the family got tired and all fell asleep apart from Fred. Fred started to scamper around the desert looking for a soft cosy place to sleep. Fred saw a golden furry place to sleep so Fred sprinted across the desert like a wild cheetah to the place of comfort. He snuggled down into the soft and warm cosy bed which felt like a feather duvet and started to fall asleep. After a few minutes Fred began to snore and the golden, soft and warm bed started to move. The bed got higher and higher and higher until it started to roar!!!! The microscopic mouse woke up and realised he was not in bed but in fact, on a large ferocious lion. Fred started to run away but the lion picked him up in his paw and said to him “you can still lay on me only if you don’t snore”. So the lion and the mouse started to fall a sleep happily.

  22. Peter says:

In the hot savannah, by the desert lands, a young fuzzy lion who’s name was Simon, was hunting determined to catch the fastest gazelle in the whole of Africa. As quick as a flash BANG! The youngling’s fluffy face was skidding a cross the dry hot sand. He noticed that Kasper the Cobra was hot on his tail. Suddenly the ground opened up underneath Simon’s feet and he fell into a cage a few metres underneath the ground.
He landed with a sudden THUMP!

Simon was unconscious for a few hours and woke up noticing that he was getting carried away from home through the jungle along with Kasper the cobra a few cages in front of him. He caught a glimpse of the cage at the front and to his surprise the lion in the front cage was his dad the king of the jungle.

THUMP! A little, poor, defenceless mouse was in his cage. “Mouse, can you help me and the other animals escape, please.
“Aye, aye!” went the mouse like an admiral serving in war. The mouse was unlocking the padlocks like the speed of light. Simon’s dad crashed out his cage and let out a massive roar, scaring away all the humans and creatures in the jungle.

“Thank you mouse small friends can also be the best ones,” said Simon’s dad “You’ve just saved my son, the least I could do is ride you home,”

The little, poor, defenceless mouse had saved many lives in the jungle even though he he is the smallest in the jungle

  23. Raiyaan says:

One bright, beautiful summers’ day, the great Lion, king of the African plain, strolled hungrily through the tall, green blades of grass. The red-hot sun shone upon the Lion’s mane, making it look like the finest mane on earth. A small gust of wind blew gently on his blonde fur, making it wave over his tunnel shaped ears. His white, thin whiskers were slightly hanging down but were still long enough to over lap his magnificent mane. The big, paper-white, fluuffy clouds covered most of the sea-blue sky and the sun-light made the sky look brighter than ever before!

As the lion was strolling, searching for its prey, it became extremely tired and dozed off into a deep sleep. Suddenly a grey, stout, innocent-looking mouse appeared scurrying along to his home and accidently, thinking it was a large stone, dashed along the paw of the sleeping Lion tickling it without realising. Immediately, the Lion awoke from his beauty sleep in fury and quickly grabbed the poor mouse. Sneering, the Lion slowly opened his paw and contrary to what he had expected, he saw a small, pink-eared, absolutely terrified mouse, shivering in horror. The Lion’s eyes grew wider and wider and he had a nasty look on his face…

The mouse, stammerind and stuttering, explained to the Lion about what he thought the Lion’s paw was. The mouse’s long tail hung off the lion’s paw and had a little mark where the Lion had grabbed him dangerously. The Lion looked suspiciously at the mouse, but was amazed by the mouse’s bravery and became friends with him. So it was,
the Lion, in the end, let him go and the mouse, very pleased with himself, scurried off to tell his family about the dangerous encounter.

    The lion and the mouse

One breezy autumn day the Lion King of the northern forest was hunting for food unaware that an animal from the eastern forest was in his forest.

“What a lovely day to hunt, nothing can go wrong!” the lion told himself with a happy smile on his face. He strolled along wondering what to catch for dinner but was interrupted by a little, scared voice calling out ‘HELP ME!!’ The lion quickly swung his head around to see an eagle from the eastern forest trying to catch one of his little subjects, a tiny brown mouse with frightened eyes.

The lion pounced on the eagle like a wrestler. The lion would do anything to keep his subjects safe.
“Why are you trying to get one of my subjects as prey?” the lion roared at the terrified eagle. There was no answer,r so the lion hurt him so badly that the lion was able to go home and eat it for his dinner.

The relieved mouse was so grateful he asked the lion how he could ever pay him back. The lion just smiled and answered the mouse.
“You cannot do anything for me as I am your leader and what I did for you is something out of my heart so whatever you had in mind just let it go as I am, and always will be, your protector.”
“Thank my leader that speech was very inspiring.” Squeaked the tiny wee mouse .

They made their way back to their houses and bade each other good night.

My fur stood up. My eyes glared at the silhouetted sky, trying to avoid the lion and its furious red eyes. In seconds I would be dead. ”Help me, Help!” Then I heard a quiet voice. My eyes looked around. Who was it…..
The sun was a great ball of fire blistering down on the sandy hills, making the animals forage for water and food. Apart from one… me. An evidently grey rat with pointy whiskers. I lived amongst the scarce grass here in the desert with other rats. ”Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! There is a lion!”My eyes scanned the horizon thinking he was joking. I walked through the undulating grass when I saw a shadow. An ample shadow much larger than me as I shuffled cowardly facing a. ”LION!”My legs were like a propeller on an aeroplane as the lion pushed tenaciously off the ground and leaped into a brisk run. The grass turned to sand as I slowed down I knew the lion was about to jump on me claiming its next prey. As soon as I thought of these words I felt something soft beneath me, it was the lions paw…
”Help me, Help-” something weird was happening
    ”Would you like a lift?”
”Wait a minute, you’re not going to eat me?”
”No, because I’ve been trying to help you all day…..”

  26. One day in the peaceful jungle there was a minute mouse and everyday a predator was after him like tigers and lots of other carnivores. Lazy Lions, king of the jungle, rested nearly all day long.
It was a special day for the mouse today because it was his birthday!
“I’m so happy.” Squeaked the furry mouse and on that day he set off strolling down the path when suddenly the mouse ran into a pack of hungry LIONS. One of them went off so I followed him, then surprisingly in the distance a cage fell on the Lion! There were hunters and they brought him over to village. The hunters had gone to capture some more animals and when they went the Lion noticed the mouse asking for help so the mouse got its fat teeth out and bit the cage till it broke. It was quite easy because the cage was made of wood. The Lion held the mouse and they were friends but the hunters were back so the Lion ripped them into shreds and he must of had a stuffing. The jungle was peaceful and lets hope it stays that way and the Lion gave a gift for his birthday and it was…

In hot, bright Africa there were lots of gigantic and miniature animals who worshiped the brave lion king. They were obedient and had to work hard to get sufficient food. On Tuesday one dreadful event happened, the lion got ambushed in silver, solid bars.
“Help me anyone Help! Shouted the lion in fear.
He was just about to collapse and then he saw a tiny mouse with a very squeaky voice.
“Help me Mouse please! Cried the Lion King.
“What will be my reward?” Asked the young mouse.
The lion had to think about the question carefully he did not know what to give a mouse. When you thought about
“Call me when you thought about it,” laughed the mouse.
However by that time the lion was being kidnapped on a mysterious boat (which had a fragrant smell). The lion saw the deep blue sea. When the mouse had arrived he discovered the lion was on the boat, the mouse rapidly sprinted to the boat to use his sharp teeth to open the cage. The lion was able to escape and they both ran back to the other animals.
“This mouse saved my life!” exclaimed the lion
The animals were relived and they never heard anything brave, so they all started to cheer.

  28. The Lion and the Mouse
Once upon a time there was a lion and he found a mouse and tried to eat the mouse but the mouse said “please don’t eat me”. So the lion shut his mouth the mouse said “I will repay you sum day”. So the lion let the mouse go but one day a hunter came along and put the lion in a net. The lion said “help, help, help”. The mouse saw the lion trapped and bit froue the net the lion said “oh thank you” and they all lived happily ever after.

One misty morning, a mouse called Thomas was scurrying as fast as the speed of light, searching for food to keep his family alive. Thomas was the youngest and fastest in his family. All of a sudden, a lion – whose name was George – grabbed Thomas by his tail and lifted him up; Thomas felt like he was a tiger about to be tranquilized by a merciless hunter.

“Who is the king of the jungle?” questioned George menacingly.

“You are sir,” Thomas squeaked, “Please spare my life, in return I will do anything you need help with.”

George thought hard about this and finally agreed.

A few days later, George was prowling around looking for delicious prey. Just then he a net fell onto him that was hanging above, disguised by hunters. Of all the animals in the jungle: Deer, Snake, monkey, Tapir and jaguar. No one had enough courage to free George. Suddenly, Thomas remembered his promise and started to nibble his way through the rope. Ironically it was Thomas that helped George! Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, George was free! He thanked Thomas for bringing him out of the net that was holding him captive. George was as happy as a lark. Thomas and George became best friends.

So he went a different way from his home. So he took himself through the wood. While he was in the woods all different animals started to chase after him. It got so hectic some animals stared to push each other out of the way to get to the poor mouse. All of a sudden the mouse heard a loud roar. He knew that it was the sound of a lion. The mouse thought “oh no, I’m sure the lion will eat me”. But suddenly all of the other animals that we’re chasing the mouse stopped and stood still. The lion said “leave this little mouse alone. He won’t fill you up so let him go home to his family.” The mouse walked carefully past the lion and said ” thank you mr lion”. The lion winked at the mouse and said “your welcome little mouse, but choose a safer way home next time as I might not be around ” . The mouse got home to his family safely and never went that way home again.

One scorching hot day the lion ( king of the savannah) had a nap underneath a group of trees. Suddenly a net shot out from a nearby car. The lion was trapped. The poachers were filled with euphoria and to celebrate they planned to make a barbeque for three days. On the second day the lion was weak and was about to accept that he was going to die when a little mouse came scuttling along.
” Little mouse please free me from this nauseating trap.” The minuscule mouse obeyed and began gnawing on the ropes. Finally the mouse set the lion free and the lion was very grateful. Sixteen days later the mouse was being chased by a rattlesnake and an owl mouse was just about to be eaten when lion came in a killed the snake and owl and had the best meal of his life.

The mouse and the lion were best friends and helped each other in every way shape and form. THE END.

    The Lion and the Mouse

A long time ago in South Africa lived a fury honey –coloured lion. He was the little mice family biggest
enemy he ate one of the children and stole their food.
Early one morning the lion heard the mice family on their way to hunt for food. Knowing that there wouldn’t be anyone in the house, the lion hurried in and looked around. The lion was about to leave when he noticed that at the furthest end of the room was a slightly opened door. As quick as a flash of lightning he went to the door.
A delectable filled his nostrils and he hurried into the kitchen were he found ripe cheese, big brown nuts and a loaf of bread. Was it a friend or one of the children who was keeping an eye on the place? The lion had no time to find out he grabbed all he could.
He ate everything on his way home. Back at the lion’s den on the edge of a desert, he was very tired so he decided to sleep. Meanwhile the angry little mice family were up to a plan they made a trail cheese to lead to a trap.
The next day the mice were ready in position for their plan and the lion had woken up from his long nap and was trapped in the net but unfortunately the little mice family’s plan had failed he tore through the net with his sharp razor teeth.
“Oh no” squeaked the baby mouse.
“Uh I’m sorry mice family I did not mean to steal your appetizing food, please forgive me for my behaviour,” begged the lion.
“Oh its OK don’t worry we can have a feast tonight and share all the food” suggested mummy mouse.
That night they had a great feast with the lion each promising they will get on and the lion never forgetting that little friends can make great friends too.

  34. Shrey Biswas says:

It seemed like a normal day for the King of the Jungle. All were scared of Lion, even Panther and Tiger. Only one did not fear the King. And that was Mouse. Not Bear, not even Bigfoot but Mouse. Only plain old Mouse. Lion didn’t care. “He is so little,” he thought Lion. “It doesn’t affect me.”

Little did Lion know that hunters had been busy – but he soon found out. “Who dares confine me inside this net!” he roared when he’d been trapped. Along came Bigfoot.”Bigfoot, do you mind getting me out of here?” he asked.
“No!” said Bigfoot.”Now I can be king of the jungle.” And off he went. Along came Jackal. “Jackal, do you know how to get me out?”
“No! I don’t have to live on fear now.” And he danced off.

Every animal did this, until Mouse came along. Lion did not say anything. He thought that Mouse too would ignore him or not be able to help. However, Mouse noticed him of his own accord.
“King Lion, Whatever are you doing there?” asked Mouse
Lion hung his head.”I was caught. No one will help me.”
    “Ah, but I will.”
    “You? How?” said Lion incredulously.
“I have small, but very sharp teeth.” And Mouse leapt up and started nibbling through Lion’s net. Finally he freed Lion. The king stretched his legs and roared majestically. He was King again.”Mouse, you have done me a great deed. If you had refused, I would have been at the mercy of the hunters. You will be my Prime Minister.”
And so he was. Everyone was astounded how Lion returned with a ‘puny little lump of hair’ as a minister, but Lion killed those who disagreed with him.

  35. In the Jungle, a long time ago, the creatures were in trouble. King Aslan the Lion had been captured. Captured by a herd of flying monkeys, that had come along from the Witches castle nearby. The Witch had ordered the flying monkeys to capture Aslan, for all of the wrong reasons. The Witches mice had scurried away from the castle and into the Jungle to make sure that every thing was going the way that the Witch wanted everything to go. The other creatures in the Jungle had gobbled up some of the poor mice, and the mice that were not eaten, hurried away back to the Witches castle, to tell her the news. The Witch went berserk and wanted to kill King Aslan for letting it happen. Little Aslan had not known what had happened, and was sent away into the the Jungle Jail for nothing. The other creatures had no leader, and knew why Aslan had been sent away to Jail, but as time passed, Aslan often sat and wondered and wondered, and sometimes even mumbled to himself:
“I wonder why, what did I do? Was I a bad King?”
One day the creatures had just had enough without a leader, and sent mice to Jungle Jail to ask the Police Panthers to set him free, but they did not agree.
“Those poor mice that were eaten, they must of been your friends, am I right?” One of the Police Panthers asked.
“Well yes, they were all of our friends, you are correct, but those poor mice were not eaten by the King, they were all eaten by his creatures. Aslan did not know that the Witch had sent us here to see if everything was going well for her.” The mice squeaked.
“Hmmm…” Police Chief Panzee thought. “Well, the Witch was telling you to spy on Aslan’s land, am I right?”
“Well yes, you are right Chief.” All of the mice squeaked.
“And you decided to follow that instruction. You decided to spy on Aslan’s land?”
“Well if we didn’t follow the instructions, we would have been killed anyway. The Witch would have killed us!”
“Well, I think I have come to a decision…” Chief Panzee said.
“What what!” The mice squeaked excitedly.
“I will throw the Witch into prison, and keep Aslan!” Chief said this as if it was a wonderful decision.
The mice looked at each other and smiled. They scurried of to Aslans place in Jail. The mice squeaked and got Aslans attention. King slowly turned his head to face the mice.
“Do not worry Aslan, we will set you free!” The mice screeched. The King watched in astonishment, as the mice nibbled through the ropes that kept in poor Aslan captured. When the mice had nibbled through the ropes, the King scooped up the mice in his paws and said to them kindly:
“You will be rewarded. You will all get to live in my castle, and you won’t have to see that cruel witch again.”

  36. The Lion and the Mouse

Lion knew that it was his old friend , he tapped the mouses shoulder and said ” Hello Mouse .” Mouse looked round to see the familiar face that he had not seen for ages.
Lion picked Mouse up and gave him a hug. They spoke for ages and they became the best of friends once again.

The rest of the partrole they just laughed and had a good time.
Lion sat on his special rock with Mouse right next to him. they told jokes and thoroughly enjoyed them selves.

  37. The lion and the Mouse.

One blazing hot morning Lion woke and gave an almighty roar. Lion was a toffee coloured lion who had a huge rock that he sat on and watched the world go by. He lived in the west Savannah in Kenya . Lion loved the days when his best friend Mouse came to see him. They talked for hours about their adventures and new places to explore.

One morning Mouse ran up to Lion looking very scared, Mouse explained that there was another lion called Robert that wanted to eat him. The Robert’s favourite meal was stewed mouse, he chose Mouse because he is very plump.
Lion set off with a terrified Mouse to go and tell Robert off. They found him sniffing in the bushes, Lion gave Robert a stern telling of so much so that Robert shock all over.

Lion roared and said “why did you wake me up? And how dare you shout at me!”
“I bet I can trap you!”
“No you can’t,” and they made a bet.
So the mouse put a net under the lion which was attached to a rope that was wrapped round a tree trunk and when the lion woke up the mouse pulled the rope and he was swinging from the net all the way up

This is a story about a lion and a mouse. The lion is very fierce and scary, the mouse is very cute. The lion was walking around to find food he came across a lot of food, he killed most of them, while the mouse found a kind man, he looked in his backpack and found a little piece of food for the mouse to eat.

The lion is mainly avoided because they would get eaten by it, the mouse would just ignored because he is harmless. They both were smart and knew where to sleep, hide and find food. The lion was a animal who would kill anything in its path, the mouse would just move along unnoticed.

They are both different from each other with different food, they each love a long walk. The mouse was sprinting across the plains when he came across a lion he challenged the lion to a race the lion excepted the challenge and the race was ready.

They both went at the same time and the lion thought he was extremely fast so he was jogging, but the mouse came underneath the lion and went sprinting ahead of him and won the race.

After the race the lion walked of in shame, then the lion fell into a trap

So I went running in to the theatre where there was a door with letters painted in gold which read, dressing room for Charlotte.
”That’s me!” she squealed. I was going to be in Billy Elliot but instead I chose Matilda.

“That was awesome! I magically knew my lines!” said Charlotte.
Time passed. She decided to go back through the hedge. She skipped home and told her mum all about it.

  41. The lion and the mouse

The story I’m about to tell you is so weird you probably wouldn’t believe me. It’s so amazing…
What am I saying? Why don’t I just tell you the story and I wouldn’t be wasting any time? Let me tell you it then.
Once upon a time there was a lion, and a mouse. The lion longed to meet mice and the mouse longed to meet lions.
So one day the lion left its territory and the mouse left its burrow. They were both going towards eachother, and when the mouse saw the lion he ran with all his might to meet him. The lion was taken by surprise as the mouse stopped right in front of him.
“Hi!” squeaked the mouse. “My name is Miko!”
“Nice to meet you!” growled the lion cheerfully. “My name is Linto!”
When Miko’s mother came out of the burrow she screeched!
“Ahhh!!!” screamed Miko’s mother. “A lion!! Get in the burrow Miko! Quick!”
“Mum, mum, don’t worry, he won’t eat you! This is Linto!” squeaked Miko.
“He won’t eat me?” asked Miko’s mother.
    “No” said Miko reassuringly.
And that’s how Miko’s mother found out that lions won’t eat mice, if the mice are kind to the lions of course!

  42. Far away in the wild, a bunch of fearsome animals were ruled by the king of the jungle, the Lion. If any of the animals disobeyed the King’s rules, they would instantly be made his servant and made to work so hard until their bones cracked. All the animals lived in fear and reluctantly obeyed the lion’s strict rules!
On a blazing hot day in Summer, a few cruel hunters set off in search of their prey. They set their traps in the pathway which led to the estuary where all the animals usually come to have a refreshing drink to quench their thirst.
Whilst the hunters went away to have their delicious lunch, the King of the jungle made his way to the estuary. The hunters had planned it so perfectly that the lion got captured in the trap. The lion roared as loud as thunder and struggled hard to get out of the entangled mesh. The more he tried to disentangle himself from the net, the more he got tangled!
Hearing the loud roar of the King, all the animals rushed to the scene. The lion earnestly begged them to set him free, but none of them lifted a finger! Finally, the lion saw the mouse trotting along, but he had no hope that the tiny little mouse could set him free. The mouse asked as kindly as he could if the lion needed his help. The lion was delighted by this kind offer, and asked, “Are you really going to help me?” The mouse exclaimed, “Yes, I will definitely help you”.
Biting the thick net with his incredibly sharp teeth, the mouse broke the net into small pieces and set the lion free. Happily, the lion lifted the little mouse with his paw, placed him on his palm and said, “Thank you, my little buddy, for saving my life! I will never forget your kindness. From now on, you can come and live with me in my grand den!” The lion and the mouse became best friends forever.
The moral of this story is that even the smallest of creatures can sometimes do big things. So we should respect all creatures- whether big or small, weak or strong!

    The Lion And The Mouse
A long time ago in a land far far away, it was blazing hot morning in Africa when groups of animals were hunting for food. When suddenly, the king of the jungle , the lion came across a tiny mouse scampering around for cheese. But in an instant, the lion picked the mouse up and showed a remos face at the mouse. As soon as he showed that face, he showed an awful, angry face and said,”i am not supposed to be doing this! i am the king of the jungle”.The mouse did not say anything and jumped off the lions hand sulking. Somewhere in the lions heart was a voice saying,”go and help the mouse, she is suffering ,you need to help her.”When that message was over, the lion chased after the mouse and joined together to hunt for food.

Screech! Came the warning, the king was coming, the parade were petrified but had to hide it, and as soon had passed all the elephants trumpeted to show his royal presence. I was on my good friend Giraffe’s head so that I could see. After all, I am only a mouse. This is the story of how I became the king’s advisor and best friend.

CRASH!! Everybody stopped what they were doing … Howl! Howl! The king was trapped in a colossal nets and needed immediate help, but nobody could do anything to help, the bids’ beaks were too blunt anything that could climb the tree that the net was tied to, they were all too something or other that didn’t help. Then I had a plan to rescue the majestic king from the net. I could climb the tree, get underneath the net and nibble it until it broke, so I did just that. But it took quite some time, though, because one string wasn’t enough. So that is how I became the King’s best friend and advisor.

  50. Fayo Idowu says:

    The Lion and the Mouse
One day in the jungle of Africa, a lion was peacefully sleeping when a timid mouse scuttled across the proud lions nose. The tired lion woke up, pouncing on the fearful mouse.
“Spare me please, the terrified mouse pleaded, “one day I will repay you with a very nice favour,
“You repay me, not a chance , he laughed cockily. The lion generously let the miniscule mouse go still laughing about the mouse repaying him
The next day the lion was stuck in a net the mouse helped him get out by nibbling the net . The moral is little things come in big packets which means all little things can do big things.

The message this story brings is that even if you are small you can still do big things.

  53. FC says:

In the great jungle of Africa, it was not so great.
At least not for the mouse, who was being tortured by the lion of the jungle.
“Help!!” squeaked the minute mouse, however, the lion on the other hand just laughed along with the rest of his mates.
How dare they taunt, threaten and bully me, mouse thought, before SNAP! The mouse bit the lion, to mouse’s surprise, lion just laughed “that all you got” he snapped horribly. And Picked mouse op by his long pink tail dangling him right in front of his mouth and…
“Stop right there” boomed a voice.
    Suddenly shockingly, lion slowly turned.
“This jungle is about having fun and making friends, not that!”
    The voice boomed again.
Outraged and confused lion let mouse go.

  54. Aki says:

The Lion said ” If any one sees me get hurt or trapped, they must save me”. One day a strong brave hunter caught the king of the jungle in the woods and ran quickly to his friends about
the good news. Just then, a mouse saw the lion got trapped,. The mouse offered, I will get you free!. The lion said you are two small. The mouse was infuriated by this and nibbled; showed
lion who was the boss. In the end, the puny mounse eventually saved the valient lion. He asked the king of the jungle to never bully him ever again. Sooner or later they became
    the best friends.

Moral; Never underestimate a puny animal.

  55. Long ago, in South Africa when all wild animals obeyed Lion and bullied small and weak animals such as mouse and all his friends. One day mouse was walking and heard a little roar in his direction so he went to look, when he got they’re he saw Lion in a cage which he couldn’t escape. “Help me mouse” said lion “I’m trapped in this cage help” “Why should I help you when you and your friends bully me and my friends” said mouse ” Please I promise to be nice to you and your friends” ” deal,” so mouse helped lion get out of the cage after half an hour of biting and ripping at the cage he was free.At the end of the day Lion told his friends not to bully mouse because he is actual very strong, and you know what lion kept his promise. The moral to this story is that little friends may prove great friends.

  56. Lauren Cooper says:

In a country called Kenya, there once was a great and powerful Lion King. He was the ruler of the skies, ground and the deserts of Africa. One day, Lion was sleeping in his favorite spot – under the orange tree – when something tickled his nose. “ Aachoooooooooooo!!” Lion woke up with a start. He turned his head back and forth, looking for the culprit. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a tiny, little, grey, shivering mouse. “How dare you wake me from my peaceful slumber!” He roared like thunder. Mouse trembled with fear at the thought of being eaten by someone 10x his size. “I…..I….. Didn’t….t…t mean.. to…o” Mouse stuttered uncontrollably. Lion raised his massive, golden paw. “Please don’t kill me, I’m to young to die!” Mouse pleaded, “Maybe I can save your life too, one day.” Lion dropped his paw and laughed. “You’re too small to save anyone!” Mouse scurried away while he had the chance. The next day, Lion was out and about when he fell into a trap. Strong, thick ropes held him tight to a peg. “Help!!!!!” He cried, struggling in the mass of heavy ropes. He thrashed and turned but it was no use. Just when he was about to give up, he heard little scurrying footsteps coming towards him. It was Mouse. “Don’t worry, I can help you.” Mouse told Lion bravely. She nibbled through the ropes with her neat little teeth for a whole hour until Lion was free. “I’m so sorry little mouse, I never should have doubted you.” Lion apologized. Mouse accepted his offer and the pair of them became the greatest friends in the whole of Africa. The moral of the story, even small friends can be great friends.

  57. Sophie H-E says:

    THE LION AND THE MOUSE

The white, soft, cuddly clouds slowly moved through the fresh air. The dark, sparkling, blue sky reflected down on the arid, hard ground were the lion stood. The lions face started to approach out of the tedious, old, dull tree trunk. The rocks were as sharp as spiky points on a hedgehog. As the lion started to look down he saw a mouse and scooped it up in his paw. The lion loudly roared out up at the sky and the roar echoed all around the arid safari wilderness. The grey, cheeky mouse looked up at the lion suspiciously and said “do you want to be friends?” “Yes of cause” said the lion. “Please look after me though i can get eaten by anything.”

  58. Adam says:

I once observed a broad, muscular lion and a diminutive mouse marching in pride as they passed my large companion; the lion’s long, brown-sugared mane drifting in the gentle breeze. The golden, swishing grass gracefully bowed down like royal servants in front f a monarch. Loquaciously, the grey mouse squeaked incessantly, as mad as a hatter. Eventually, the two utmost figures faded away like fraying, jeans and all I could see left was the lion’s nonchalant, calm and tawny body.

  59. Emma Corrigan says:

The lion went out hunting for food, his feet all numb because he just woke up, and with his golden hair swishing side to side, his nose peeled because he was trying to hunt and he was concentrating until, thack! Rope hit his paw. “Roar” the lion was in agony. He found out that he was being hunted!

“Hello” a little voice echoed into the lions ear
    “What?” the lion roared angrily
“Do you need a little help up there?”
“No!” the lion demanded. Even though the lion said no the tiny mouse did it anyway, nibble, nibble, nibble went the mouse all the way through the rope.
Poof! clouds of dust spread over everyone and everything.
“Now it’s my turn to do my job,” so the lion opened his mouth…
“Wait! don’t you need to say anything and then I can er… you know scamper away?”
“oh yes, I’m sorry!” so the lion let the mouse go.

  60. Tami says:

    The Lion and the Mouse

One hot blazing day in Africa, lions started to get hungrier and hungrier. They were so hungry that they could eat one another. As all of them groaned in agony and desperation, one cheeky, chunky, cheerful mouse caught sight of all of the lions searching for prey. Then the mouse thought it wasn’t a good time for him to be strolling through the lions’ den so he scampered back to his mouse hole, but it was too late! One particular lion could smell the blood of the grey mouse. It didn’t know that the lion had a sinful grin spread across his face, ready to pounce at him. Even the puffy pillows in the sky were filled with dread.

  61. Nehemiahopeche says:

One sunny lovely day, there was a lazy lion, sleeping in the grass when he heard a Squeak! he was as attentive as a rabbit, speedily, he sprang to his feet retracting his claws. Another squeak!!, it was a mouse, who had certainly not come near to disturb the roaring lion, the mouse tried to escape but it was coincidental that the mouse approached the lion. Finally, the lion saw the mouse looking petrified but the lion was livid.
The lion caterwauled with stirring anger that ran straight into the mouse and told him that the lion was furious, the lion was angry alright but wanted to trick the mouse into doing something dumb….not knowing the mouse was extremely sly. The lion put his paw out for the mouse to climb on and it did. When he was standing in front of the lion, the lion said,
“Would you mind going to the hill over there to ask those animals if they have more tails?”, So the mouse did as it was told.
Recently the lion had gone there to ask the wizard owls the same questions, so the owls had warned him one more time not to ask again or they will surprise him. When the mouse got there the owls wanted to kill him but he said “Before you kill me, the lion over there said I should ask you if you had some tails for him.” the sage Mouse said.
“Actually, we have two tails for him one tale and one tail.” said the wisest owl.
Therefore the owls went and told him a tale about a lion getting a long tail, after the story the owls gave the lion a long tail, now you know why a lion has a long tail. So the moral of this story is don’t ask for what you don’t need.

  62. Akshay says:

Once upon a time there lived a lion called Max and a small mouse called Jake. The young lion was a king with a mane of honour whilst the tiny mouse’s whiskers showed cowardice and fear. The young lion was confident, clever and nice unless he saw someone representing cowardice and fear. The lion(who thought honour was everything) would destroy the very animal unless he owed it worthless creative. The mouse was as clever as the lion. He was talented. He was a genius. Out of human intelligence, he would be the smartest. He was a person running out of fear. The tall trees around him were shivering and whispering, the lion was wanting revenge. The lion wanted to kill him. Luckily, he just went back and avoided the lion. The lion wouldn’t bury the hatchet and he didn’t care. The lion had finally caught him in his paw. The lion said,”I’ve been waiting for my revenge.” Suddenly, before they knew it they were trapped in a net. The mouse bite the net and a bit later they were free. They made friends and went in peace.

  63. Mahi says:

It was an arid and humid day,in the dense forest in Madagascar, a celestial ball of fire towered above the quarry and predators and thus the ferocious beast which in human terms is referred to a so-called lion lay flat on the ground like dead fish would be if thrown out of the water. This blood-thirsty beast was parched if he had a dessert on his tongue.None of his servants would get the lion a drink as they all knew that if they gave him the magical blue liquid-water he would get up and amend to his wicked ways of life, several animals had prayed for this day to come. But there was an odd greyish mouse with large whiskers and quite a large tail in comparison to it’s size who was teased by every animal especially the LION, who said to the poor little mouse that he was a puny little thing, the mouse though who was kind ,considerate and forgiving got the lion a scoop of water and you know what the lion did he took his priceless crown there it on the floor and broke it until not even a minute spec could be seen.He told the mouse you have taught me lesson that even the king will fall if all his companions desert him.So all of us will be side by side. And no one shall control us.

  64. DT says:

Once there was a lion (named Leo) who was hungry and went off hunting for food. He found nothing but at the end of the day, he found a tiny little grey mouse.
“Please let me go, I will hardly make a sufficient meal for you. If you let me go I will repay you by helping you out.”
At this Leo roared with laughter. He laughed so hard that he let go of the little mouse which scuttled off into the distance. The mouse squeaked to his bigger companion:
“I will help you out one day, I promise.”
“He wouldn’t have made much of a meal anyway” smiled Leo.
One day, Leo found a large slice of tainted meat lying on a patch of leaves and twigs. He pounced on it thinking that he would have a big feast when suddenly, the leaves and twigs gave away and the lion fell int the pit. Leo could easily have got out of the pit but before he could leap out a heavy net fell on top of Leo, snaring him. A couple of hunters peered over the edge of the pit and started to laugh at Leo struggling. Then they went away to get their van. At the bottom of the pit, the mouse lay unnoticed, but when the hunters went away, he came out of his hole in the pit and scampered up to Leo.
“I told you I could help.”
With that, the mouse gnawed the rope and it fell away. Leo thanked the mouse and with one great bound, he got out of the pit. The hunters were approaching in their van so Leo found the slice of tainted meat (which hadn’t fallen into the pit) and sped away from the forest

    THE END.

  66. Artin says:

    The Lion And The Mouse
A long time ago in Africa,a great lion lay asleep in the forest. A little mouse came along, and in her fright, she ran across the lion’s nose. Roused from his nap, the lion had his giant paw on the tiny mouse, to kill her.
“Spare Me!” Begged the poor mouse. “Please let me go, and some day I will surely repay you.”
The lion was very amused to think that a mouse could ever help him, but he was generous, and finally let the mouse go.
Some days later, while stalking his prey in the forest, the lion was caught by a hunter’s net. The lion started roaring for help, the mouse had recognised his voice, and went to help.
She gnawed through the rope and finally the lion was freed.
“You laughed when I said that I would repay you” said the mouse, “But now you see that even a mouse can help a lion”.

  67. Vedant says:

One hot and sunny day in the African savannahs, a lion was having his daily nap in his small den. Squeak! Squeak! A little mouse was scrambling up the lion’s arm, thinking he had defeated him. Growl! The lion had woken up! “Help Help!” shrieked the mouse. He sprinted down the lion’s arm, jumping onto the coarse ground as he reached the end of his short, liony arm. BANG! BANG! The lion [named Stalk] was slamming his paw on the ground, hoping to catch the mouse under it [the paw, obviously]. PITTER! PATTER! PITTER! PATTER! The mouse’s tiny feet struck the ground, making a sound like the quietest whisper ever. So much happened simultaneously, Stalk stamping, the mouse running, the grass of the savannah waving. SNAP! A net had been shot on the lion. The mouse looked back, thought, decided, and ran back to Stalk. Stalk was stuck, so the mouse decided to nibble through the sturdy net. RRIP! Stalk was free! Then the two were friends ever after that incident.

All animals found shade under rocks so they won’t get cooked in this yellow star. In a cave as dark as coal, lay a small mouse eager to get some rest. This little mouse was called Kim. she was tired of running away from pesky predators like eagles, vultures but worst of all lions. Kim was small but she was practically the Queen of all the small mammals and lizards, even though she was powerful she was nice to everyone. Kim got about an hour’s sleep when she heard the screeching of a bird. She squealed and ran to the darkest corner of her retirement cave. Kim called all vultures naggy because they would always bother her when she is having a good time. Suddenly everywhere fell silent. Kim was a tiny statue. She dared not move, if she did that would be the end of her. Unexpectedly a lion let out a loud roar of triumph. I wonder why? This microscopic mouse crept out from her quiet hiding place. Kim held up all her courage and scurried out of the cave. She looked around, nobody was there…”roar! A humongous lion scooped her up. The lions name was Leo. “I killed the vulture so that I could see what it was trying to eat “said Leo. Kim replied “I thought you were going to eat me “I won’t because you are so kind”. Kim was very surprised , she couldn’t talk. She responded “thank you very much Leo”. Kim jumped on his back and when it became dark they lay on the grass talking to each other, laughing and rolling around on the grass. Kim was so pleased that she made friends with Leo. Kim told Leo “you have to promise you won’t eat me and you will take care of me”. “I will Kim “so they went to sleep feeling very satisfied with themselves
