The character of my story is a little girl called Susie; she is 7 years old and has long blonde hair.
She had gone to visit her auntie and was playing happily among the sweet smelling flowers and then she noticed a big, wooden, yellow shed at the end of the garden. She decided to go and see what was inside.
She wandered inside and she saw a rickety old table, two old chairs and a magazine about Africa. As she sat down she remembered she had been learning about Africa in school.
She thought: I wish I could go to Africa.
“That will never happen” She sighed.

Susie was really hungry, she wanted to get something to eat, from her Auntie, but when she opened the top half of the door, she saw an amazing sight!
    She was in Africa!
It was hot and dry and she could feel the sun beating down on her.
She couldn’t believe it, this was her wish.
In front of her, she saw a watering hole; where the lazy lions lay, the giant giraffes, graceful gazelles and terrifying tigers drank.
In school she had learned about all the animals in Africa and she knew she had to keep her distance, because some animals are very dangerous like tigers and lions.
She closed the door to her yellow door and said: I wish I was back in my auntie’s garden, I’m so hungry. When she opened the door to check where she was she realized she was back in her aunties garden.
Her Auntie was calling: “Susie, I’ve made a delicious snack for you!”
    “I’m coming Auntie” She replied.
Susie stopped and thought: Did I really go to Africa? Or was it my imagination? She ran to meet her Auntie.

    The shed home
Once upon a time, near a motorway, there lived a shed family. They were all made out of wooden planks, each painted a different colour. The shed family all lived in a shed (not because they had some features of sheds) which was rather small, tattered and yellow paint was scraping away from the unfurnished, old planks of wood.
The family lived in this shed because the bungalow people took over their city as the bungalows had a very small village. So when the bungalow people rushed into the shed city (looking very angry) the shed people decided to leave the city immediately.
When the sheds became homeless the Prime Minister declared that all homeless families can have the more decent homes while the others will have to D-I-Y their homes with what they could find. No-one dared to go back into the city because they all thought that the bungalows will do something bad to them. Then, a shed was brave enough to go into the city but never came out.
While Mrs Shed was making dinner, while the rest of her family went to find sparkling shed stones, she heard a knock on the door. When she opened the door, a caravan person was standing there.
“Can I come in?” she asked.
“Ok, make yourself comfortable,” Mrs Shed replied warmly.
Mrs Shed gave her a cup of tea and cookies.
“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself,” Said the visitor “I am Miss Caravan”
“Nice to meet you Miss Caravan,” said Mrs Shed in her most posh voice “I am Mrs Shed”
“For the last few months, my family and I have to stay in this small shed because the bungalows took over our city…,” Before Mrs Shed could finish her sentence; she was cut short by Miss Caravan.

“Have you been attacked by the bungalows?” questioned Miss Caravan, “The caravan people have been attacked by them too!”
“I came here because my handmade house collapsed yesterday and I wanted to find a place to stay,” said Miss Caravan.
“How about we shed people and your caravan people join forces so we can defeat the bungalow people?” Mrs Shed said thoughtfully.
“That is a great idea!” exclaimed Miss Caravan.
So they both agreed and Mrs Shed and Miss Caravan told their people. Then, they all marched into the city and the bungalow people got so scared they ran away.
At the end, the caravan people and shed people agreed to live together. The shed family and Miss Caravan had the biggest house and lived happily ever after.

The Memoirs of a Beach Hut

I remember the good old days, when the beach was unpolluted, the luscious smelling fresh fish cart as it trundled over the bumpy sand to sell its wares to the over-excited, screaming children. The melodious ringing of the ice-cream wagon charming all that hear it to come and buy it’s cooling treats. My owners sitting inside me eating their picnic and laughing as they watch the children running into the waves.

But then, one night as I stood proudly , the whipped cream waves hitting the golden sane, disaster struck.

The waves suddenly turned fierce. As the sky darkened , flashes of lightening illuminated my worst nightmare.

There, stampeding towards me was the most horrific Tsunami ever to roam the Earth.

The Damage was too great for my owners to repair. So here I stand today, Nothing more than a toilet for dogs, a den for foxes and a rest for seagulls. Oh how I long for the good old days.

    The countryside shed

One beautiful summer’s day, I was walking along the grey and stoney path in the sunny countryside and I discovered a pale yellow shed with a dark brown roof. My curiosity got the better of me and I stopped to see if anyone was in it so I shouted hello but I got no response, so I went inside.

The next thing I knew the door was slammed shut and locked! I could hear people giggling, I’d been pranked! I tried desperately to open the doors, but I couldn’t. I stepped back and realised the terrifying darkness that sent shivers down the back of my spine. I waited and waited and waited for someone to come along but no one did. But when I was about to give up the doors swung open and there stood three men. One of the three men said there was something that the other two men wanted to say and the two men said that they were sorry for pranking me, and I forgave them.

The next thing I knew was that I was walking back home and enjoying my freedom like a normal person would. So I suppose I could say there was a happy ending.

    In the middle of nowhere

In the middle of nowhere, there was a green, nice smelling forest, which was beautiful. There were fluffy leaves, and the bark was as hard as wood. The grassy ground had a narrow road going through the middle of it.  Autumn colours were in the daisies, tulips and other fascinating flowers. The nice, beautiful blue sky had a few white, fluffy clouds in it.

There was a little horse’s stable in the middle of nowhere, made out of thin, vertical planks of wood.  Soon a brown, bright horse will pop out of those doors. If not, the sensible farmer has locked them.

The summer holidays had just begun, whuch meant that all beaches across England were manic. The honking of horns and the squawking of birds was the only noise you could hear. However, Katie and Ben were really excited as they had hired a beach hut for the weekend. Ben is a young nine year old boy with cropped hair and Katie is nine as well but her birthday was the next week. Katie had straight long hair which stretched to her shoulder. They finally reached the beach and the two children sprinted straight to the beach hut.

They immediately started moving boxes but then saw a gap. Ben ebbed closer to get a better look. Whilst Ben was inspecting this hole, Katie stumbled back which nearly caused Ben to topple in. Ben was furious with her as they didn’t know what could be lurking under the ground. Then their foolosh father casually strolled in, however he didn’t see the banana skin in the middle of the floor. He slipped over it and fell into the periolous pit of misery.

“No!” screamed Ben and Katie simultaneously as their father disappeared before them.

Katie and Ben didn’t know where their father was but they knew they needed to go down to retrieve their lost father.

    The Magic Shed

In the playground, at lunchtime, one day Imogen observed a new shed painted yellow in a corner of the field. Imogen, who was tall with red curly hair, was very curious. She decided to explore, so she opened it and it creaked, terribly, loudly. Her friend, Ben, was short skinny with brown hair and glasses. Whereas Imogen was a curious girl, Ben was timid and worried a lot.

“Do not do it. You will get caught and told off!” begged Ben.”

They both stepped inside, Ben following Imogen. Quick as a flash they disappeared but reappeared in the Head Teachers office.

“Oh, that naughty Imogen! She stayed in the toilet for a whole hour yesterday and missed a lesson!” exclaimed the Head.

“But Ben he was very rude to his teacher! I don’t know who’s worse.” mutter the head.

    “Should we go?” questioned Ben.

“yes, I think we should get away from this mean, monstrous, monster,” replied Imogen. “Follow me,” she added.

They zoomed out of the Head Masters office, through the school, out on the play ground and back into the shed. Ben and Imogen appeared back as their normal selves. The door handle stared turning and Mr. Spencer, the caretaker, opened the door. He questioned what we were doing in there. Mr Spencer stepped in to get some tools and he didn’t disappear but stepped back out. Ben and Imogen’s mouths gaped open in astonishment. What had happened to the magic shed? And would they ever be able to try it out again?

It was not a fight that took 1 hour, it took 3 years to beat the hydra.

At last we waited for our reward. the award was a….. shed “seriously” one said but he had no idea. He checked it out and opened the shed and saw the diamond mission accomplished.

It was a scorching hot day. The sky was a beautiful blue with clouds scattered here and there. It looked like at the moment it wasn’t going to rain because the sky was clear. It was an exquisite day.

In this scene it was dry the tall trees were a light green with no birds in. Their trunks as brown as a bear stood up still. The branches swayed softly like a swan and the leaves were on the trees it was summer.

In the middle of this deserted land layed a road a concert road and and beside the road was a fantastic bright yellow shed. The shed looked clean and well looked after. The shed was locked and fastened up with a pad lock this meant something was in it, maybe personal belongings. The shed had nobody near it whose could it be?

  10. Bolu says:

Once upon a time, in the middle of nowhere lived Mrs. Brown, Mr. Brown and Mia Brown. Instead of them living in a normal, regular house they lived in a tiny, old shed. They lived there because they could not afford to live in a house. One bright, early morning, Mrs. Brown was complaining about how she would love to live in a luxurious mansion. Meanwhile Mia and Mr. Brown were sleeping soundly. Mrs. Brown repeated what she said and all of a sudden the Browns small shed shot up in two the blue sky like a firework. Mr. Brown and Mia woke up straight away.

After a few minutes, they landed on something very hard. Mia opened the door to see in front of her was a gigantic, luxurious mansion. After, her parents went to see. They where astonished. It was the biggest house they had ever seen. In the distant they could see a sign in front of the house. They sprinted closer to see what it said. The sign said ‘this house has no owner, anyone can take it. The keys are under the doormat.’ So Mr. Brown took the keys and opened the door.

When they entered, Mia asked her mother if they could live in the house because it was so big. But Mrs. Brown was worried because they would not afford to pay the bills. After Mr. Brown found a note in the kitchen and ran to his family to show them. He read it out loud it said ‘The previous owner of the house died, so you can have his money. It is in the kitchen on the ground floor. The amount of money is £100,000.’ The Browns’ were so happy that they decided to move into the house. They kept the shed. So they did not have to pay for their holidays.
    They lived happily ever after.

One day I was stuck in traffic, feeling bored and only moving a mile every hour or so. The weather was gruesome; rain trickling down the window of the car. Out of the blue, I saw a yellow shed, with a door with the hinges broken. The torrid weather, easing the shed to one side ever so slightly. “Mum, please may I have a look in that shed?” I asked politely.
“If you must” sighed mum, not really paying any attention. I hopped excitedly out of the car, and leaped over the silver metal bar on the motorway. The grass was soggy and squelchy, with rain still hammering on the ground. When I stepped into the shed, it looked as if it had been brutally forced open – I assumed the wind must have blown it open. Inside was an area of buttons and keys, all connected to a complex looking computer mainframe.
Inquisitively, I pressed a button and I was bouncing up and down with excitement. Suddenly, there was a blinding light, the door was flung off it’s hinges. There in front of me was a lush green forest with exotic fruits hanging from draping vines – the scene was stunning. But wait. In the background I could hear a voice “Self detonate in five……four…..three….two….one. KABOOM!
I was falling, falling into a bush of knife like thorns. Where to now……..

Jacks grandparents live in Southwold and Jack visits them every summer. Today Jack was visiting his grandparents, when he arrived his grandparents greeted him at their bright green front door and they both gave Jack a massive hug. He was so excited he ran inside and straight out into the curious garden. It was enormous, full of amazing wildlife to see and hidden places to explore! He sprinted into the tall grass, he ran in deeper and deeper, tripped on an old, rusty, metal anchor and fell through a prickly thorn bush. As he dusted himself off to his surprise there was a yellow, weathered shed. He wondered how it got there, he looked around and decided to go inside
He opened the old, creaky door and took one big step inside. “Smells like it has been in France” Jack thought curiously as he inhaled the cheesey air. He hopped outside and with his beady eyes he saw he was in France. “Oh my gosh!” Jack screamed “I can transport to any country I want!”
He rushed back inside then he shouted triumphantly “to the North Pole!” and sure enough when he opened the door again he was at the North Pole. It was pure white with dollops of snow everywhere, little elves were rushing around building toys and there were eight resting reindeer in a gigantic pen. “I better get back home before I make my grandparents worried” he thought to himself, “take me back to Southwold” he said impatiently but it didn’t work!
Just then an elf came over and said “a teleportation machine break down? I’ll go and get Santa”. A couple of minutes later the elf came back with him, Santa strode over to the worn out shed and grabbed a big, blue wand from thin air. He taped the shed with the wand three times and Jack ran back inside, he demanded “Take me to Southwold!” and he was back at home in a flash. He skipped happily back to the house and told his grandparents all about his magical journey, they didn’t believe him but he didn’t care. “That was the coolest experience ever!” he smiled.

    The series of unexpected events

Once in a faraway village in Florida, I lived here for most of my life and I wasn’t expecting to leave anytime soon until one faithful day when my Father explained to me that he had to quickly go out of Metro, (Our town) and got to the city, which was only thirty five miles from Metro. I had bad feeling about where my Father was going, he had never gone out of town without explaining why! Where could he go? What could he do? What about if he gets into trouble? I was so worried I didn’t know what to do first, tell Ma or to stop him, as if I was a police guard trying to catch a criminal. I stopped and looked at the situation. What was I going to do and how was I going to do it, I was going to have to go somewhere without people because it’s possible that I was going to talk to myself and if anyone heard they might tell Ma!
I ran into the deep depths of the huge jungle with spiders and horrible nat-worms with deep never-ending holes all the way to the other side of the earth! I had to watch my step and all around me. Morrow sadly passed away because he came I this jungle, and fell in one of the holes; someone found him a week later ,of him going missing, shouting, calling for help but no-one could find their way back trough the jungle, only Senzi knows where he was and came back out alive….
I pushed my way through the humongous leaves and bushes, shrubs and tree trunks I kept on tripping over. Then soon after I had fallen my way through the trees I saw the most peculiar thing ever… a wooden shed. A wooden shed? Don’t be ridiculous! This wasn’t a mind trick or a hulsination because I got bitten by an spider, I couldn’t believe it! I circled around his unexpected surprise with astonishment. The sun glistened through the ripe leaves and the relaxing, soothing colours of an beautiful rainbow shone into my eyes like a twinkle. As I stood and stared at the shed I became more and more curious and it was very conspicuous on my face. When I walked inside the shed I found my Dad! I knew he was lying, I am a very good detective! My face all of a sudden went pale as if I didn’t know, and my glossy, golden hair went colourless and the sun had gone inside a grey, miserable cloud. My Dad was on a phone never one that I have seen before, he didn’t notice me until he finished whispering this, ” I need a one way ticket to Mexico, please…”
“Dad? What are you doing? I loudly asked.
“Ooh…” He dropped the phone, ” I was just.. err.. doing business sweetheart, go back to Ma and have lunch.”
“Uh-hu were you really?” I suspiciously asked
    ” Yes I really was!”
I asked my Dad what was he going to do in Mexico and he didn’t have an answer so he gave in. H e confessed that he was going to sell the house and live in Mexico with the whole family, I instintaly believed him because of his tone of voice and told Ma. She surprisingly liked the idea and we moved to Mexico where I met some new friends! That’s my story what’s your’s

  14. This might look like an ordinary, wood, small, unpainted shed by a river at the bottom of my garden, but when you go inside it’s like a playhouse there are ipads, computers, books, slides, all you can eat buffet, all famous celebrities in the world are there and all the toys you want.

My favourite part is getting an autograph from a different celebrity everyday, because only 1 celebrity comes each day. My favourite so far are 1D’s autographs and Jessie J’s. My other favourite area is the tech area where you can play games, listen to music and watch telly.

I like to have sleepovers there with my all my friends and a limo picks you up and drives you around London while you get to eat junk food and watch a movie and then afterwards we would have pedicures and manicures and have massages and it’s all for free!

  15. The magic shed
One day my mum and dad were busy and had to go to work. Me and my baby sister couldn’t be left home alone. They suggested to drop me and Rebecca (my baby sister)at grandma’s house.

When we got there , grandma and grandpa looked after Rebecca and I went off playing in the garden. Inside the garden were trees and and flowers with a variety of colours. I saw a shed in the distance. I decided to go into the shed. Inside the shed were a few plants on the side. Suddenly I got a bit hungry I opened the door to tell grandma but when I opened the door I saw the apple tree and the apple looked like a red bauble dangling on a dark chocolate branch. The grass was mint flavoured ice-cream and the soil was melted chocolate. The rose had pink marshmallows as their petals. The concrete paths was now a stream with circled cake with green sauce which looked like lily pads.

I made my way back to he door to get he camera and take a picture of the beautiful scenery. when I came out of the shed to take the photo the garden was back to normal! Was I just dreaming or was it real?

Elsa and Ben were twins but were as alike as chalk and cheese. Elsa wore a blue, embroidered dress whereas Ben wore ripped torn jeans. Ben never combed his black hair; however Elsa every morning placed her golden locks of hair into neat bunches. Elsa studied extremely hard in lessons and so became as wise as an owl. Ben, on the other hand, cared for lessons as if they were giant dollops of dirt.

One foggy morning Elsa took a peak at her chores. In bold letters clearly stated read “TIDY THE BACK-GARDEN SHED”. Elsa heaved her body out of her cotton-wool bed and hauled her grubby boots on and slid down the tinted banister. As she trampled through the garden she groaned, the shed was crammed with all types of items; rackets, balls, bats and frisbees.
“How am I ever going to tidy this all away?” she said out loud.

After hours of frantic trying to tidy the shed, it had been cleared. Elsa was covered from head to toe in grubby, sticky sweat. Mum rushed to greet her.
“Why on earth did you tidy that shed?” she enquired.
“You said to do it!” she dumbly replied. In the corridor there came a whoop of hilarious laughter.
“Ha ha! Tricked you!” Elsa stared furiously at Ben, she would get him back, next time!

    The shed.

One day, Ben was slumped down in the car seat. He was on his way to his Grandparent’s house. He knocked on the miniscule bungalow door and his old wrinkly Grandparents arrived at the door. They were very kind to him and let him in politely. Ben nodded his head kindly and accepted the offer. He stuttered in and hung his bag up on the banister, along side with his coat. His Granddad murmured, “would you like to go outside”. “Yes please”, he said. He picked up his football from the front door and set off outside. He loved playing football, he always scored. Then he smashed the ball over the brown rotted fence. He climbed over the fence and came across a new shiny shed. He left his football and ran in curiously. He searched the place, and found a rusty old pocket watch, from years ago. He blew off all the dust and clicked the top three times with curiosity, then suddenly he teleported three days back in time. “Oh no” he thought. “I cant get back now”! The magic pocket watch has broken, nooooooooooooooo!

I went to visit Grandpa. I was in his warm cottage when he came rushing in saying that his lodge had disappeared! Grandpa told me we had to look everywhere so we hopped in the car and searched around the whole village but we couldn’t find the lodge.

Grandpa looked upset his face was round and chubby and he was wearing a big frown on his face. I tried to cheer him up but his face was still as red as a tomato. Surprisingly he said that maybe it was good that his lodge had vanished into thin air.
But I didn’t know what he meant.

The next day was the best. Grandpa took me to this theme park that he had never told me about.

First we went on the rocking ship, it gave me the tummy tickles. Next we went on the twister, it’s a roller coaster that has a lot of twists and it’s yellow. After that we went on the spinning teacups. I thought I was going to be sick. Finally we went on the water ride. I got soaked but it was epic. The water was cold but luckily we brought waterproof poncho’s.

That day was fun and I think Grandpa now know’s what it is like to be with family then inside a tiny hut on your own. Nowadays when I go and visit Grandpa we always have fun. It’s the only time when I am with someone else rather than being alone. I really look forward to visiting Grandpa and sometimes when I am bored I invite Grandpa round and my parents get surprised when I invite grandpa round because I never looked forward to grandpa coming. I love being on the beach, where you can find lots of different things like pebbles and shells. One day I even found a mysterious shed. It was by the beach; mouldy, crooked, creaky, wooden, it had chipped paint, rusty hinges and it was very unused. I decided to go and investigate.

I opened the creaky door and inside was a beautiful place! Well, I think i think it was the Queen’s palace. It had a rich scent of perfume. It had diamonds for the handles on the doors. It had a gigantic glass chandelier. While I was enjoying my amazing time at the palace, I immediately heard footsteps.I turned around nervously but I think I was too late. Right then an immaculate silky white glove, as white as freshly fallen snow, slipped through the small gap in the sky blue door.

It was a lovely, summer morning so my family and me decided to go for a day out on the beach. As we hurried off to our car with our full up beach bag, I suddenly remembered that I forgot my beach ball so just before we took off, I managed to sneak in and collect my beach ball. On our way, we trekked through some ancient cities before we arrived to the sunny beach. Overwhelmed by the excitement, my brother and me swiftly ran to the golden, hot sand and started playing Volleyball. Sometime later, my brother got tired so we abandoned the game and I wearily strode off and bizarrely, after a few minutes I found myself right behind a pale yellow shed. Without wasting any time, I started examining the shed carefully from top to bottom when strangely I heard a low whispering noise and then a shuffle from the inside. I quietly approached to the camouflaged door; tried unlatch it but it didn’t even react. Soon after that, I noticed that there was a keyhole with a rusted key stuck in it. With all my strength, I tried to wrench it and luckily I succeeded. It was damp and dark in there but right at the corner there was a slight movement where I went to venture. I felt a shock when I saw a poor, little, baby cat lying on the floor wimping with all its might. Slowly but carefully hoisted the cat in arms and marched briskly outside in the fresh air. Running rapidly to my mum and dad I soon found out that my parents let me keep it!

” My old band , ” a voice said behind me . . Oh no !DAD!
” Sorry ” and I hugged him for what seemed about five minutes , but in reality it was thirty seconds.

Two months later , it was dad’s birthday . I had put together a little birthday surprise …
His band mates , Joey , Harry and Gary . They hugged ,they laughed and also joked around . Sang a few songs with responding claps and cheers. I am truthfully glad I came across that shed . You never know , there might be a few more secrets hidden in there…….

They walked towards this isolated shed,it was positioned at the very north western tip of the prison camp. There was a queue of about 20 people, with their belongings packed into small pillowcases, being shoved onto the trailer of a robin reliant. Bob-bob was getting worried he was left behind…

Then they opened up a big door to the shed. Bob huddled around the shed as he watched a German soldier point a gun at a 21 year old screaming woman.

    In her last human nature,

    In this death shed…

    The Wishing shed
One sunny day Ben played football in the big valley, randomly he saw a dark figure slowly getting bigger. He landed quietly like a cat.
“I nearly got squashed,” thought Ben.
When he raised his eyes out of nowhere a huge wooden box was slowly making its way down at first but then it was smashing its way down somehow it should have smashed but it didn’t. I realized it was a shed so I went in to it in my head all sort of things were there I wished to fly but that will never happen but 2 minutes ago I started to float up so I thought this very shed was a wishing shed so I wished for all sorts of toys like remote control helicopter est. So I went to my dad’s and told everything I saw and felt then I showed him the shed. So we had the wishing shed our garden shed.

  27. THE BEACH SHED

Adrian was very excited because he was going to his compassionate aunt’s house for the weekend, furthermore, they were going to the beach (this was Adrian’s favourite place).
As they were walking along the beach, Adrian saw a magnificent, yellow like gold, beach shed, which was aside of all the others, but the strange thing was that no one else saw it. Nosey as he was he walked in a shiver ran down his spine as he opened the creaky door but as he walked in he was suddenly outside again, just that this time he was in a strange, dark, eerily silent wood, but just a few metres in front of him was an identical shed to the first one.
For the next 30 minutes or so, Adrian was going from shed to shed, through forests, gardens, woods, along beaches, coves, fields, and many other places. When he walked through the 100000th one (as it seemed)he found himself in his car with the family with no more sheds to go through. He suddenly felt being shaken, it was his mum waking him up to go to his aunt’s house. So he had only dreamed it so it wasn’t going to happen, or was it?

Every holidays Jack Creekwood always went to visit his grandparents in Miami. This particular day was a fine morning in the middle of summer. Sun danced on the luscious, green leaves, ruby red flowers stood like piles of jewels and the grass looked like a layer of vivid green coats. Lovingly, his granddad challenged him to a game of volleyball down at the beach, even though he was rubbish. Of course, Jack agreed. So down to the beach they went.
On the way they had to pass through a forest. At the beginning, it was beautiful. Tall, majestic trees stood overhead and, once in a while, a cluster of pink petals would fall down, a bit like confetti. The path sparkled in the sunlight that was peeping through the trees above. The scent of honeysuckle, mixed with the smell of fresh, sweet grass drifted along in the breeze. But the further in they got the more things turned around…
Now the sweet smell had turned into the stench of rotten meat. Darkness fell like a curtain. The trill of blackbirds and the humming bees turned into the screeches of owls and the snap of twigs. Then they saw it. A huge clearing in the middle of nowhere surrounded an old, wooden, moss covered beach hut. Jack ran forward to open the door but his grandpa bellowed ‘NO’ before he could reach it. Jack turned. The youth and joy in his eyes turned into fear and misery. But Jack’s curiosity got the better of him. Slowly, he opened the door, causing it to creak loudly. ‘Wow’ he gasped and stepped inside. Anxiously his grandpa waited, too fearful to follow him in. After around twenty minutes the old man heard a horrifying scream. That was the last anyone saw of little Jack Creekwood. Ironic, isn’t it. Anyway, the moral of the story is: if you ever see a random beach hut while you are walking, don’t go inside…

I woke up with the smile of the sun my face and the abundance of sand surrounding me. The sand was rough like glass paper and lying down on it stung your back like walking on hot coals. The island was lonely and the water was as clear as the views from binoculars. Amongst, the blurred horizon something was stuck in the sand. An abandoned hut standing proudly beneath the palm trees. I made my way towards the desolate hut, and ran my fingers along the pine wood. It felt damp and worn out with splinters at every corner. I returned to the front door after scouring each wooden wall. Without warning, lightning appeared in the sky and the rain started to fall pitter, patter, pitter. I opened the hut door to my great astonishment. A purple glow appeared unlike anything I had seen before, causing me to squint. My hands automatically covering my eyes. I walked towards the purple light stepping intrepidly inside the hut….

The door shut loudly as I reached my hand out into the glow when WHOOSH! Tossing from side to side it was like a whirlwind. All I could see now was the everlasting purple glow. The island had disappeared now and my eyes were disorientated. Right, left, right, left it was repetitive, I was being tossed around like a rag doll. Suddenly, I saw a light shining at the other side of the door. I thought I was safe when BANG! I landed on something hard. I opened my eyes (which were blurry) to find it was the ground. My eyes had recovered now and I saw a house. I walked towards it only to find out it was mine. I was home…

    The shed

My name is James, I was at Summer Camp with my two brothers, John and Michael, when I made an amazing discovery. It’s weird when the most spectacular time of your life comes at the most unexpected times.

It all started when I asked Tim, ( the camp leader) politely ” Can I go to the toilet sir?” and he said I could. I ran down the slippery stone path and into the creepy club house to notice that there was blood oozing gently out of the disabled toilets. I was glued to the spot with fright.

I took a quick look behind then. BANG! Something was by the toilets . I turned around slowly and no one was there. CREAK! squeaked the floorboards. I looked for a way out but then. The door swung open and bats flew out from all directions. I took a step back when zombie hands shot out of the floor. I screamed and skeletons came out the walls.

I leapt through the window and in a gooey spot of mud. I took a quick look back and nothing was there.

I can’t wait till next summer many people find the club house boring. But I no different.

It is always a sunny day when I go to pick up Jenny for a walk. Jenny lives in a small yellow house which has a lovely blue cross on top of the door.
When she told me first where she lived I thought was impossible but she said anything can happen. Jenny lives next to a forest but even closer to a ‘parallel’ road. ”The trees in the forest have different colours and shape that what I like” said Jenny. Sometimes the branches wave at us while the wind rustle through our long golden hair.
Although someone lives here it isn’t very welcoming to guests.

“STOP IT RIGHT NOW OR YOUR’LL BE GROUNDED!!!!” exclaimed Tom’s Mum.

So once Tom arrived at his Grandmas house his Grandma said happily …

“Oh I can’t wait,” mumbled Tom.
Once they got inside Tom asked to play in the garden.

“OH NO!!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!” exclaimed Tom. But then he thought it was 2056, there must be a time machine somewhere, but where… just then he saw a time machine shop! What a stroke of luck! So all he had to do is get there but he needed to get money to get a time machine. So what Tom done was…

He went in the shop and used his stealth skills and crept past the shop owner. Then he stole a time machine from the shop, and went back to his time, 11/3/2014 3:45pm. So he teleported back to his Grandma’s in the shed. And everything was normal like always.

    The time machine

I’ve always wished I was in a time machine but when I went to stay with my auntie I got a big surprise.
As I was in the car I looked out of the window and on one side I saw a great sandy beach with waves splashing and hearing the jingles of the ice-cream van but when I looked on the other side I saw nothing but trees and one yellow shed. As I got out I said hello to my auntie and then ran straight to the yellow shed. Thoughts ran through my mind as I got nearer and closer to the shed. As I went inside I gaped at what I saw and I saw technology, wires, levers and buttons but when I pressed a button I was shaking everywhere. There were weird noises, lights going on and off until it all finally stopped. I had a quick peep and saw dinosaurs! T-rex, triceraptors, terradactols and even crocodiles. As quick as a flash I slammed the door praying that everything was my imagination and when I pulled the door open it was still the same, dinosaurs everywhere. I decided to have a quick look at the button I pressed and read it out loud. Prehistoric times, I looked for another button and found one that said 2014 and as I pressed it I went all shaky and the flashy lights and weird noises came back. As I opened the door I was back in the beach and there right in front of me was a T-rex tooth.
I still wonder if I was dreaming or not but my only proof that it was real was the T-rex tooth.

    The magic shed!

Every Saturday it is always nice when my sister, my mum, my dad, my grandparents and I go for a walk along the Chelmer. But this time it was different, I brought a football this time. I passed the ball to grampa and he booted it round the corner so I ran round the corner and there it was my ball, however, as I reached down I saw something out of the corner of my eye. For a minute I thought my eye was tricking me, so I just ignored it and carried on picking up the ball. As I got back up I realised that my eye was not tricking me and there was actually something there. I walked over to what I thought was a house until I got really close when I realised that it was actually a shed. I didn’t remember the shed being there last Saturday. I decided to tell Mum about the shed so I ran back and said to Mum ” I found a shed around the corner! Quick, come and have a look!” So there it was, all my family running to the shed. As we got round the corner I realised that the shed wasn’t there anymore. I went to where I had last seen it and it definitely wasn’t there. So I said that I’m sorry I made you all run, especially my sister Esme and my grandma Mary, as I looked back one more time, it was there I said to mum “it’s there again” she looked back and I was right so she took a picture and now it’s in my photo book !!!!

They went into the shed and in it were all of their grandmother’s memories since she was a child. They looked at framed, gorgeous pictures, some were hysterical. They looked at pictures until they heard a call from their grandma that it was tea time.

  38. I remember when the sea was calm and there were beach balls being thrown around. Now the wind howls loudly and the waves crash together splattering all over the sand. I remember when it was very sunny and everyone was sun bathing. Now the snow slowly drowns to the ground and everyone avoids the beach with their coats on. I remember when people used to eat inside me and there was a bar where the men kept on drinking. Now my inside is a dump and I just keep on waiting for summer to be back.

A curious, young boy called Charlie was searching for his lost, mechanical robot in the back of his grandparents yard. He thought he had left it there on his last visit, but obviously, he was mistaken. Bushes, shrubs, weeds and twigs scratched at Charlie’s arms as he ventured through the messy garden, not to mention the long, tall, prickly grass that swayed beneath him. Suddenly, Charlie stopped. Right before his eyes was, what he thought, something better than his lost robot; a pale, yellow garden shed. His mouth dropped open in awe as the shed made him think of his holiday to Florida coming up in two months time. Cautiously, he opened the door with a loud creek. Charlie spun around, anxious that his grandparents had heard him. He didn’t want to tell them about the discovery just yet. He turned back round to find that the garden shed was gone. Where was it? Two months later, Charlie was in Florida and he was very excited to see what was there. When he finally arrived, he caught sight of the pale, yellow shed. It must of followed me here to Florida thought Charlie. But then he realized that the shed must be magic because when he had thought of this holiday, the shed was back in his grandparents yard safe and sound. Now, he was in Florida and the shed was with him too. Was it a magic shed!?

For a good cause and then thought it would be absolutely fine to snip off waist long hair to neck length just for charity. Anyway, they spotted a row of long grey sheds all the same colour, shape and size, until they came across a glowing multi-coloured one that seemed to entice them to jump out of the car at rapid speed. Like cheetahs the pair of them selves face-to-face with the front door of the shed. At once they took a leap of faith and found them selves falling down a hole at a steady pace. Like magic together they spoke the same words ‘I wish we were in food heaven’ in the blink of an eye they reached their destination. Houses made of candy and chips. Flying cheeseburgers… POW! Whizz! SWOOSH! In an instant they were back in the car 4 attempts later they were in trouble the ruler of `the shed banned them from going back in. on their 6th attempt they got the opposite of the actual thing they were supposed to get opposite. Dun dun dun! The sound of the drums echoing in their head while thinking of an escape plan. “Aha!” exclaimed Zara I know a way out “How?” asked a puzzled Amy. After explaining it to her sister chewing through the laces and swinging to the bacon rusher shore rushed to safety teleport themselves back home and enjoyed a beautiful day on the beach.
