Ken and Klara gazed up at the freaky fun fair ride, it was called THE END. It was the fastest ride ever. Both of them started to feel excitement fizz up in their stomachs. Then the ground began to shake as the crazy carridge passed by. The vibrations travelled up their bones and made them tingle with fear. The sounds of screeching and screaming made the children want to sprint away as fast as a flash. When it was their turn the manager firmly said “sorry kids you’re too small”. Ken and Klara started weeping, tears gushed out of their eyes but he wouldn’t budge – it was over, it really was THE END.
I was only 6 when it happened.
Our parents were well in front in the endless queue to go the theatre and Andy and I lingered behind.
The bustling crowd rambled on and we sprinted over to a ginger haired girl to talk with her.
We soon realised that her pet vanity was to talk about how beautiful she was so we stepped away silently. We then couldn’t find our parents. We were lost! Andy and I exchanged worried glances, tears gushing out of our eyes. I was so worried I couldn’t speak. Andy stared at the floor with such a sorrow face that I couldn’t help feeling sorry for him. By then the crowd was swallowing us in like a hungry whirlpool. Our parents were lost! We were in the middle of nowhere! A policeman came over to question us but I could only mumble a few words under my breath. Andy came to my rescue, he explained that we were lost and had lost our parents. The policeman gripped us gently by our grimy mitts and led us to one of those really dirty waiting rooms with all the equipment that policemen need. Our parents stood there crying their hearts out and wailing. When they saw their children, they smiled, dried their wet eyes and laughed. We thanked the policeman heartily and rode the way home. What a dramatic day it was!
Jimmy and Jasmine were at the zoo. They were having so much fun seeing all the animals like enormous elephants, lethal lions, treacherous tigers and mischievous monkeys. At twelve thirty they sat down for lunch. They sat next to a lovely pond with the sun sparkling over the surface. They laid out their sodas and ham and cucumber sandwiches on the low bench and they also put Dad’s lunch on the bench whilst he went to get a cup of tea from the coffee shop.
After a few minutes a chubby duck came waddling past. Jasmine decided to give it a tiny piece of bread. Without warning, a paddling of noisy ducks came charging towards Jimmy and Jasmine. Three of them jumped up onto the bench and started tearing Jimmy’s sandwich apart. Jimmy and Jasmine shouted at the ducks and flapped their arms but the ducks took no notice and started to demolish Jasmine’s lunch as well. By the time Dad got back, just the empty cans of soda were left. Jimmy was so sad he wanted to cry. Jasmine, on the other hand, was annoyed because she was starving! Who would have thought, that out of all the wild animals at the zoo, the dastardly ducks were the most dangerous?
Our first day at school
Harry and Amanda stood as still as statues gazing at all the delighted children playing around them. An anxious felling came to Amanda’s mind, which made her want to join the fun, but Harry wouldn’t let it. Fear run up Harry’s spine as a juvenile kid approached them and mumbled to Harry “ Why aren’t you happy about our first day at school?” Harry was about to reply but lost his words and started to whimper on his grazed knees. Amanda’s face turned pale red as a crowd of boys was now summoning swiftly around Harry calling him a baby. This was the most embarrassing day of there life.
One ordinary day with two powerful kids. Not that powerful they were pretty weak actually. let’s cut down to the story The children’s name where called Rex mighty and isabela mighty. so one day Rex issy Where on a school trip. Befor they got on the bus they got hit by a magnificent meteor it was as giant as a Iceburg. Rex looked closer it was an iceburg isabela said why are there Booooooooooom! Hey I cant see I wish mega man was here. Said Rex
Hey Kblamo! No I wish mummy was here so let’s just go to heaven So they did and they lived happily ever after
Screech! The fairground gates open and two children’s minds start racing. “What are we going on first?” a girl shouted.
“Can we go home now?” a boy moaned.
“Come on Bradley” Jessie screamed. The children’s excited screaming as they spun upside down and the clacking of metal wheels against the track terrified Bradley. Then the smell of doughnuts convinced Bradley to join in the fun. Building up all his courage Bradley replies “Let’s grab some doughnuts.” With that Bradley races to the doughnut store, grabs some doughnuts then queues up for the scariest ride.
It was the first day of school. Mark and Matilda were frightened and scared. Suddenly, the school bell rang like a buffalo bellowing. All the
children ran to line up. All except Mark and Matilda. “Get to your lines!!”. A booming voice made them jump out of their skin. “You’re new, I guess ? “. Standing above them was a looming figure with burly leg muscles, a tight, rigid jaw and eyes full of repugnance. Mark and Matilda looked at each other with eyes full of horror. This was not a good start to the first day at school.
Grace and James where having fun at the fun fair, eating fluffy pink candy floss and drinking freezing cold lemonade. They were thinking about which ride they would go on next.Their mother was very poorly and sick so they also had to take care of her.
“Why don’t we go on Dizzy Dizzers it makes you feel dizzy and it is the best ride ever!” Commented James.”We can’t.” Said Grace in a very concerned voice.”Remember mother, she is way too sick to go on that ride, maybe we should go on floating tea cups.”
“Children, children.”Said mother calmly.”Why don’t we take a walk and look around us,it is a very scorching day, just take it easy.”
“Ok mother!”They chorused. And of they went not knowing what might happen next.
The sun was shining more than ever, the weather was more than boiling.”Um kids oh oh I I am f feeling s so h hot why don’t we t take a r rest over h here?
“Stammered mother as she perched herself on a bench.”Are you feeling alright mother?”Asked Grace.
“You are stammering!”Continued James.”I I I am f fine h here is f five p pounds.”
So Grace and James worriedly went to buy some snacks and three large cold drinks. But when they got back ,they saw their mother lying on the lushes green grass, hardly breathing.”Quick get mothers phone and call the ambulance!”Ordered Grace.”Mother has collapsed!”
Grace and James waited two minutes for the ambulance to arrive. When they came, they took Grace,James and mother to the hospital. The children were so worried.
What has happened to mother?
Is she all right?………….
This was the day, this was the day that we found out the lucky winners who got to go on an amazing trip to the giant red planet Mars. Me and Toby doubted we would ever win but we had already packed two extra large bags just incase. We were about to turn round when a slim, pretty lady wearing a beautiful pink dress anounced our names and informed us we had five minutes until the rocket left. Me and Toby jumped with joy as we scurried off to the rocket where we were dressed in soft, white space suits.
In just two quick minutes me and my excited brother Toby were shot up into space . Within minutes we could see the shiny stars glimering like glitter. This was just the begining of our adventure and it had been fantastic. By the end of the trip we had seen the shiny stars and we had seen clouds as soft as snow.
That day was the best and I wish I could go again next year.
Happily Sally and Sam strolled through the busy theme park where screaming children laughed and played, giggled and screamed. As they gazed deeply through the crowd searching for an amazing ride, they spotted a gigantic ride which fitted exactly what they were looking for. Quick as a flash Sally and Sam dashed to the ride but strangely the wheels weren’t whizzing around or being loaded with passengers, there was just one tall man in a dark suit. “We’d like to go on the ride please,” Sally gleefully asked.
“Sorry youngsters the wheels have fallen off, so you can’t,” the tall man replied bluntly.
Suddenly both Sam and Sally’s eyes began streaming tears like a river flowing down a mountain.
Two naughty boys and an innocent little girl.
” I dare you to go up to Sophie and pull her beautiful plaits” said Billy. Suddenly, Mrs Gregg walked through the door. ” Excuse me! What are you talking about boys ?” The other boy called James, said “Billy is daring me to pull Sophie’s plaits”. ” Why are you daring James to do that?” asked Mrs Gregg. ” Because I want him to get into trouble” replied Billy. Then James walked away and Mrs Gregg said ” Billy come here right now!”. ” Why?” asked Billy. ” Why did you trying to get James into trouble?” Mrs Gregg asked crossly. Then Billy turned around and there stood Mrs Gibbons, the Headmistress. Mrs Gibbons said ” You are as bad as each other because James tried to be nasty so did you”.
Mrs Gregg said ” I hope you have both learnt a lesson through all that and lets hope the rest of the day is better”.
Hi, my name is Thomas and this is a story about my worst day turning into a great day. It was in the middle of a boring assembly when the head master, Mr Bark, announced, “Listen up everyone you’ll find out the results of the school council representative at lunchtime roday.” I was so excited as I had run for that occupation but even better, I might win. I could tell Lucy, who’s my sister, was excited too. Lucy is a medium sized girl with short brown hair, puffy cheeeks but best of all she has a great smile. She often describes me as quite tall for my age, short blonde hair and a cheeky grin. I was so excited I accidently jumped out of my seat because I couldn’t wait.
At breaktime something awseome happened because I was told I was in the top three people to get elected. I couldn’t wait for lunch-time. I listened and tried hard in my lessons. It was nearly time and then….’Bring!’ I knew what that meant so I stormed to the noticeboard and then my shoulders drooped as I saw Serge, the school bully, was elected and I knew something was wrong immiediatly.
I was so upset I nearly cried but then I heard a whisper from somewhere saying, “meet me in the science lab.” It was Lucy’s voice so I got there as soon as I could. Lucy had counted up the votes and she told me that she’d won. I believed her and we decided after a long conversation that we’d rush to the security cameras. I knew justice would now be served.
On the way I thought of three words to describe Serge who has: brown hair and an ugly face. The words were mean. cruel and vicious but I also realised he had a big case of myopia. I was panting hard when we reached the room we were looking for. We didn’t want to hang around so we got the evidence and left.
“Yes!” Lucy cried as the head master announced Serge had tampered with the results and told us Lucy had won. He thanked us for showing him the evidence. I was really proud of my sister and thought, ‘there’s always next year.’
Arise Arthur 2173 a story by Thomas Woodcock
London, Kingdom of the carrier 6:15am 31st, September 2173
A black hawk helicopter hovered over the shard building in London a derelict city in the kingdom of the carrier (though some of the rebel group members still called the country the UK)meanwhile I will return to my story. The rebels running up that shard building in the lived upon area of east minister they, were suddenly stopped when a B-52 bomber confronted them. Now you may be wondering why this government is so mean well 13 years before in 2160 a meteorite had hit the earth causing all countries to have to decolonize now the world was ruled by a communist totalitarian leader named big markka his wrath stretched across almost every single country in the world but now with him starting to go mad with is power Rebel groups were forming.
Paris, Land of the race 7:30am 31st September 2173
Let me introduce you to our hero Arthur who lived in ward PQXW-16523 ward of the inhabited area of Paris known as the great Eiffel he was awoken by the sound of the bleep that woke them every morning. They slid down the slide that took them to action stations. Then the soldiers of big markka marched them in to the open they drove through the once great city of Paris the mood in the town was different it felt tense and quiet to the usual feeling of a working city. As they arrived at work they saw the great tower of the markka Eiffel. Its propaganda slogans read.
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY.
WHEN CHOOSING BETWEEN WAR AND PEACE CHOSE WAR.
GOD DESTROY CAPITALISM AND DEMOCRACY.
Lille, land of the race 10:00am 31st of September 2173
Arthur and his friends and family had been transported towards Lille 100 miles north east of their hometown Paris they were held at gun point by soldiers in balaclavas. The general of markkas army shouted to them ‘dig holes for your country for your pride and for your life’ there attention finally turned to a nuclear mushroom cloud in the distance. We now return to our first story the B-52 in London. They started to run hundreds being shot for cowardice then brave Arthur pushed through the crowd of anxious people then saw a shockwave with hundreds getting 3rd degree burns but he didn’t feel any fear then saw big markka charging towards him with his fur coat. Then he (Arthurs)chance had come he pushed big markka in to the fires erupting around him the soldiers ran crowds cheered world order had changed.
One gloomy day where the clouds ruled the sky and took sole ownership of the fiery sun, two twins where very hyper, so their mum and dad decided to take them to a very exciting fun fair . Once they got to the hyper fun fair they went through the annoying queues for the admission. Their mum paid enough money to at least have 6 tickets. Tom and Topsy had to negotiate with each other which ride they wanted to experience. Each time they wanted to go on a ride , they always chose rides that where not suitable for their age group, but their dad allowed them. When Tom and Topsy where down to the final ticket they held on to them like their life depended on it. They had an argument about the fun rides they wanted to go on. Tom felt contemptuous towards Topsy because the rides she dragged him onto where too girly for, him he just couldn’t take it anymore. Since they had a big argument their mum and dad decided to leave. Once they heard that tiny sentence spoken Tom cried however Topsy held her tears in, although she was still glum and blue inside.
As their mum dropped them off, Joey and Tanya gazed up at the sign on the building that said”crazy Coconuts”. Joey and Tanya had never been to Crazy Coconuts before so they decided to go inside to investigate. At the reception there was a mean aggressive man at his desk. Tanya said in a nervous voice “is there a party there at 10:00am to 7:50pm? The man replied “yes”. Tanya and went inside searching for a party.
Half an hour later Joey saw what looked like a party. Joey and Tanya ran over to a group of big boys and girls who were celebrating a birthday. Joey lost his enthusiasm and Tanya’s tears wouldn’t come out. One of the big boys in the party said “who are you and what are you doing here?” Joey replied dismally “we were here for our friend’s party which I realised is tomorrow”. The boy said “ well you ain’t coming in this party”.
Tanya and Joey started to wail and WAAAAAAAAHHHH! They were hungry and tired now and they were only young. Hours later their mum still didn’t arrive. Joey and Tanya had nothing to do but they still were crying and saying “ I want Mummy!” then there mum turned up and saw them on the floor wailing. After Joey and Tanya had told their mum what had happened she had learned two lessons. The first one was to always stay with your children and the second one was always to get the right date one was to always get the right date of a birthday party. That is the moral of the story.
The Final Match!
Lucy and Author squeezed through the mob of people, eager to see who was winning the match. “I wonder if Manchester United will win,” thought Lucy. Their favourite team, Manchester United, were losing by one goal. They were attacking aggressively, trying to score a goal with only 15 seconds on the clock. The excitement of the match was shivering up Lucy’s spine. One of the players struck the ball and it spun in the air like a hurricane flying towards the goal. ” Goal ! Goal !” yelled the fans of Manchester United, waving theirs arms in the air. BEEP! The game was over- the goal did not count. The whistle had been blown just before the ball reached the goal. Manchester United had LOST! Lucy and Author were extremely disappointed that tears trickled down their faces. They couldn’t believe their favourite team had lost.
A Sinking Feeling…
Lydia and Paul were welcomed with a bustling, screaming and screeching sound. It was a family day trip to a park. The day was bright and sunny. Filled with excitement, both looked forward to doing crazy things out. Paul being adventurist a character looked forward to getting on monster rides. “Can we get on those scary rides asked Lydia and Paul? No said dad! That’s not for your age. Both glared back at dad and said:” Dad you never let us do anything!”Their hearts sank in feelings of disappointment.
Then Paul started to cry with misery pouring out and Lydia just hung her head.
Happiness had come to the town, the funfair was finally there. Bob and Jill asked if they could go and their parents said “yes”. So they got in the car and hurried off the the funfair.
When they got there they paid for the tickets and went straight in. At first they went on all the rides until they felt a bit peckish.
So they went to the canteen. Once they had their food they went to play on the arcade games. Unfortunately they had lost their parents. So they looked everywhere but still couldn’t find them, they went to an office and on the speakers shouted for their parents, and two minutes later their Mum and Dad arrived.
Jack woke up with an exciting feeling but he did not know that this special and exciting feeling was going to be pummelled.
He sat up quickly in his bed with a smile on his face.
As he stood up he started jumping around with excitement. He dressed up in his smartest clothes and headed off to a concert, where he will meet a girl in his class called Ella.
As he approached her his hand started to become sweaty and his heart was pounding as fast as a steam train and was as loud as a firebell.
As Jack came closer to her he got worried and then he said “Hi there!”
“oh hi your Jack in my class aren’t you?”
“Yes I am and there is something I want to tell you,” He sat down with her and asked “Will you go out with me?”
“No of course not we barly even know each other!”
Jack turned his back to her with a pout on his face.
One day there were two children called Lily and Solomon Moore. They were queueing up for ice cream, but however this was no ordinary flavour it was fudge and chocolate flavour, it was so nice that security guards were there! That wasn’t enough to stop the ice cream monster, the ice cream monster comes to the same van every year on a certain date and today was the day! They got closer and closer to the front of the queue and it was suddenly there go but then the ice cream monster snatched the truck away and they never got there ice cream. Lily was annoyed but Solomon cried his eyes out! That summed up a bad day for the Moore family.
Mark was celebrating his 8th birthday at Adventure Island. There was a ride that caught his eye, it was called ‘Race Round the World’ famous for being the scariest roller coaster ride in the world. He sprinted swiftly to the queue and luckily he had just reached the minimum height for the ride, he climbed on excitedly and off he went round the world.
Not long after the ride he felt his tummy drop, he was going down the first mountain ‘Mount Everest’ one off the biggest mountains in the world. As it rushed down the roller coaster was so fast he started screeching and wailing, he felt like he was going to wet himself. However, this is not the end of the ride there are still two more mountains to go [Ben Nevis and Mount Fuji]. Now he is going down Ben Nevis without being able to calm down from the terror, going down Mount Fuji he felt like he had butterflies in his tummy. They were both scary but not as terrifying as Mount Everest. When the ride stopped he climbed out looking pale and sick, his sister Lucy saw him and was so shocked and terrified, that she didn’t want to go onto the ride, but unfortunately it was her turn. Then Mark said ‘Lucy, I think you shouldn’t go on this ride I can’t even stand on my wobbly knees.’
One day a boy with light brown hair feeling glum and upset walked up to the sharply pointed bars of the the school that was as big as a giant. With his sister clinging hold him onto the smooth tarmac of the playground. Standing by a door with a huge golden knob in the middle was the welcoming but also strict head teacher greeting new students with a cheery grin. As they wearily sauntered up to the head mistress a unruly child step in their way blocking the from entering the school. Immediately, the headmistress saw with a defining shout, she exclaimed to stop a go to class. “What are your names” asked the headmistress, waiting to tick off endless list of the latest pupils. They stood there in utter bewilderment then came a voice “I’m Milly and this is Fred”
“Ah thank you, better be on you way.” In class they were asked to introduce themselves, when it came to Fred’s go he was petrified. Suddenly, he whisper to himself “Save by the bell.” The teacher chalked a little. At brake the bully returned but this time with a gan making him more anxious. Hastily, he sprinted as fast as lightning making it more difficult to get him. When he got away he hid so well he forgot to go to class. His teacher question him he said “I got lost miss.” At lunch the was so many opions it was mind blowing what he had was exquisite.
In afternoon they had sport and fred scored a fantastic goal and urned him five house points. At the end of day although it started nerve racking it with a bang.

One September morning, I woke up and saw a newly ironed uniform laying on my bed . I thought about what was happening that morning. Then suddenly I that it was my first day of school ! I ran downstairs into the bathroom ,brushed my teeth and had a quick shower . I slipped on my new maroon uniform and strolled down the stairs to have breakfast . When my mum saw me she said I looked ” HANDSOME”. I was excited as all I knew was that my teacher’s name was Mrs.Harris .All the teachers had sensible names as the school was called Sensible Primary School[scs for short ]. I had my breakfast of Cheerios and milk.I was talking to my sister, Daisy [who was in year 6] until my mum said it was time for us to go.So I filled up my backpack with I need and set of for school .
While I was walking with my sister to school I missed my mum very much and I didn’t feel like going to school . When I reached my destination I found out that my teacher Mrs. Harris had short ginger hair and deep blue eyes .After a while I was asked my name, so I quietly mumbled “James”. I played with her and read with her all day ! We had a great time !
In the summer of 2003, a baby boy with brown hair and blue eyes was silently resting in his beloved mothers caring arms at the hospital St Thomas, in the green hills of Switzerland. His mother named this shy baby Henry.
The boy and his family travelled to England for his parents to find work and for the children to be educated before a a job offer moved the family to America. Here, his mother fell ill and was taken to hospital. During this time, Henry felt he had no one to talk too and felt alone in the new City. The only thing that kept Henry going was his love of football….
His father had rented them a small aprtment in a huge tall building to be near his mother in the hospital but the aprtment had no garden or outside space. He started the Autumn term at a school called Oaks Junior School. He had no friends, nobody to play with and nobody to talk too.
To his luck, the school had a huge field and Henry indulged in the real talent in his soul…Henry’s talent was his dream….Football! He played night and day, all on his own just kicking a ball that he found in the play ground. Soon, he was spotted by a big, mean bully called Joey. He had big feet and a small nose with a long upper lip underneath it with the biggest bulging eyes you had ever seen! “He is like a clown with no make up”, sneered Henry between his teeth. With his gang following behind him, Joey the bully came up to Henry: “Give me your lunch money!” he threatened. “Yeah” chanted one of the boys from Joey’s gang. Joey gave the boy that shouted a piercing look and turned around again to Henry.
Henry had no choice but to keep on giving the bully his lunch money every single morning before school while he was playing football in the field. Whilst this was happening, a popular girl named Sienna had been keeping an eye on Joey. Sienna was a beautiful, young , smart and a very sporty girl indeed.
Sienna soon plucked up enough courage and used her knowledge, to stand up to the bully so one day, just before Henry handed his money to Joey, Sienna shouted, “Leave him alone!” with great attitude.
“What are you doing here cried Joey?”
“I’m here to set things straight” She said confidently.
“Go , before I -”
“I don’t care Joey, you two will have match or a tornament of some sort…”demanded Sienna
“A football match! I’m the best at football matches!” boasted Joey. Sienna looked at henry with a friendly smile,Henry nodded his head distinctively and with pleasure.
“Ok then, it’s settled, after school you and Joey will have a football match, the first boy to score ten goals …well lets just say Joey wont bully you any more!”said Sienna facing Henry
“If i score ten goals ill keep on getting your money every week and you need to do my homework!” cried Joey
It was a long day for Henry, he was so excited but soon it was time. Eevrybody had gathered around to see the match and Henry was getting nervous.
Soon, once everybody had settled down, Henry and Joey stood in front of each other, face to face, ready to kick the ball. Once the deafening whislte blew, Henry had already got the ball and zoomed off into the wind. Joey could only see dust. In seconds, Henry had scored three amazing goals! Another fifteen minutes later, Henry had made a wonderful nine goals to Joey’s one! Henry was running across the field with the ball, everyone was cheering and clapping for Henry and then he scored his ultimate tenth goal. Everyone cheered in releif and Sienna hugged Henry but after blushed.
A few weeks later, Henry had become very popular in the school but one day on coming home from school with his sisters he visited the hospital but his mother was not there…Both Henry and his sisters mouths dropped with astonishment. They raced to the apartment to find their beloved mother and father sitting in chairs. The family laughed and hugged in happiness and joy.
After a week of his mother being well Henry and his family decided to stay and live in America, the love of the world!
The Lost Teddy
My name is Billy and I am 5 years old, and my older sister Tilly is 7 years old. This was the day I lost my favourite teddy.
One day I was walking around a theme park with my Mum, my Dad, my sister Tilly and my favourite teddy, that I bring everywhere with me. This park was filled with loads of fun and games. After a while my sister said ” Mum can we go on the water slide please?” Pulling a hopeful face that Mum would say yes. ” If you like” said Mum. So we headed towards the water slide. We got two boats, so I had to share one with my sister and my teddy. Once the ride had finished we got out of the boats and nearly exited the theme park when… I had realised I had left my teddy somewhere! So mum and dad told me and Tilly to stay near the exit so she wouldn’t lose us. After a while I thought that they would have no hope finding him when Tilly gave a gasp and said ” Billy, Billy look mum and dad have found your teddy!” I was so relieved that I thought I was going to faint. Mum said he was in the boat that I sat in and they were about to give the boat to some strangers but they just got there in time.
So this was the best and worst day of my life!!!
It was a jupendous day , Jo and Lilly couldn’t wait to go to school for the first time! They played ‘IT’ until the bell rang. They lined up and the teacher introduced herself.
“Hello everyone, I am Miss Kevins!”she announced , in a particularly joyful but friendly manner.
“Hello Miss Kevins !”came the reply. The two who shouted loudest were, of course, Jo and Lilly, who were the most exited of them all. Miss Kevins led the children into their classroom ,which was full with loads of bright colours.
First of all ,the class had circle time , when they said their name , what they liked , and what personality they had.
Soon the play bell rang and the children surged through the door.
Just as Jo and Lilly were innocently playing ‘Hide And Seek’ , an older boy barged through another child in their class and stopped in front of them , looking at them with an evil smile…
“Run!” shouted uncle Bruno “There after us, quick going to your mums room and press the green button GO!” Sprained ankle going out again. So Claire and Jude ran as fast as they could into their mums room and searched high and low for the green button until they found it on the door. As soon as they press the green button they were in a very awkward place, it looked like a car, but as soon as Jude and Claire crept into the car all the doors shut with a BANG! If you heard of anything more scary than that then let’s hear about it. Jude and Claire sat on their seats and saw uncle Bruno appear on it and this was like a mini TV. “Listen up children I’m not your uncle,” said uncle Bruno sternly peeling his moustache off and proving the children right. “You need to get out of here quick as you can, you’ll find everything out when you reach the safe house good luck,” explained uncle Bruno
” Claire what will we do now?” asked Jude
“Well we’ll have to get out of here,” nervously said Claire to Jude. Both of them drove to the safe house as soon as they could. Jude entered the house and they saw a picture of their aunt saying that she was a spy and that their mum and dad and came to help her stop the robot maker making evil and dangerous robots. Claire and Jude ate their lunch, as soon as they put down there bags BOOM the door opened and they had been invaded by the evil robots again. Jude and Claire took all there things and flew off in there jet packs, it wasn’t easy to escape them so they through rocks at them and they crashed on the floor as soon as you hit them.
MY DOG CAN TALK !
Hello, my name is Zack. I’d like to tell you about my dog, Hyper Harry. He is hyper by name, by nature.
One day we were playing fetch, he started…………….
“Hello Zack!”he announced merrily. I nearly fainted.
when I told my mum, she actually fainted. When she came to, Hyper Harry asked “Are you ok?” Soon my mum became used to Harry talking, but we still kept it a secret, so must you!
“Run!” shouted uncle Bruno “There after us, quick going to your mums room and press the green button GO!” . So Claire and Jude ran as fast as they could into their mums room and searched high and low for the green button until they found it on the door. As soon as they pressed the green button they were in a very awkward place, it looked like a car, but as soon as Jude and Claire crept into the car all the doors shut with a BANG!
Ken and Katie went to the charity run, they saw the course, their bones shaked and stomachs fizzed. They reached the half way point, they looked over their shoulders, their mums were gone.
Don’t Panic !!!
It was in summer 5 May 2005. when me Jannet and my brother Jack went outwit mum and dad. I thought it would be fun but i was wrong. It was in the interval when i said ‘ mum I feel a bit ravenous and balmy’ Dad hard and said ‘ Their selling ice- cream over there i’ll go and get some’ When the tennis match began again mum got worried where he was. So we went to look for him. Suddenly Jack let go of mum’s hand and we lost her. ‘WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR!!!’ I screamed at him ‘ my hand got sweaty and i HAD to wipe it on my t-shirt’ he said timidly starting to cry. The tennis match had concluded . we stayed were we were but mum and dad did not come back- where were they ???!!!
One lovely day two friends were on their way to the fun fair with their dads. Their names were Zack and Leila. When they got there they immediately saw the roller coaster that they adored. They struggled through roaring crowed which covered the whole place. The ride hade a very long line but they finally got in the carriage that would lead them to a seriously scary adventure.
Zack and Leila Loved the ride but their dads thought it was horrifying as it shot them round and round in the dark making them really dizzy. They went on another ride and it was amazing to the dads, It was the most upside downy roller coaster ever but didn’t make them feel sick.
They got off the ride all topsy turvy, everyone liked it but Zach. He was feeling very ill and they decided to go. It was a jolly journey home. When they got in they played a brilliant board game for thirty minutes and then watched television and then they were VERY tired so Leila went home.
“Oh no!” It had happened
Fear swelled up in my brain, it was like time had stopped. My brain was perplexed and then-.I heard a noise .Screaming. Shouting. Yelling. It was the reluctant call of my sister and my brain turned from petrified to relieved. “Max are you OK?
Where is Mum ?! exclaimed Max sharply.
I don’t know-were lost .The light was fading. Fading away in the distance. But Max and his sister were stranded.Max knew that. As audacious lightning fell the stars were there only accompanied by the moon. Max and his sister knew they were stranded.Stranded in a weird place on their own.
It was the day of the inflatables Edward Hall. John and Sarah had been good all day so that they would be dismissed earlier. They only wanted to go on one of the inflatables, so did everyone else in the school. THE BOUCE SHAKE!! it had broken 6 world records in 2 days. The Bounce Shake would shake like a massage chair so you can’t stay on your feet and you have to touch a fake moon.
Nobody had ever been on it before in Edward hall so everybody was excited and wasn’t paying attention in school. When school was finally over everyone dashed over to the field and noticed it had been fenced off. John pushed forward and asked the headmaster “What’s happening where are inflatables”.
“Sorry John they drove to Edison Hall on Edward hall, sorry”
On the way home every sulky face had told what had happened though most sad of all was John and Sarah they had waited all year to go on the The Bounce Shake and then the owner had driven to the wrong school.
One brilliantly hot sunny day, two friends were on their way to the theme park with their dads. Leila was small and blond and her best friend Zack, skinny and freckled. They were both so excited.
When they arrived, they saw the monster roller coasters and their eyes settled on the biggest of them all, Dragon Breath – one they both adored. “Come on dad”, they said, tugging the reluctant adults behind them as they struggled through the roaring crowd which filled the place.
The ride had a very long line, but eventually they got into a carriage that would lead them into a seriously scary adventure. Zack and Leila loved the ride but the dads thought it was horrifying, as it shot them round and round in the dark making them really dizzy.
They went on another ride after that, this time the dads thought it was amazing as it was the most upside-downy roller coater ever. They came off the ride feeling very topsy turvy. Zack though felt really sick. He couldn’t understand it, he loved roller coasters – didn’t he? “Dad,” he whined, “Can we go now – I have had enough.”
They jumped in the car, and Zack thought that the car felt as though it was swaying all over the place. “Don’t worry Zack,” teased Leila, “When we get home we’ll play something safe like Monopoly, that should be calm enough for you!”
“Why can’t we go on the ride?” asked Thomas.
“Because you are too small to go on the ride” replied Mum.
“But Mum…!” said Lucy.
“You’re too small ok!” interrupted Mum.
When they arrived at another ride where they were tall enough to ride on, they snuck away from their Mum, they went back to the other ride and went to go on it. They got on the ride which had hanging seats and then the ride started. They screamed at some bits and some they went” WEEEEE!”
But when they were on a section of the ride when it turned upside down they fell of the seat!
“AHHH!” screamed Thomas.
“AHHH!” screamed Lucy.
When Mum turned round, she saw that her kids were falling. She ran as fast as she could, pushing through the crowds and went to catch the kids, but another set of hanging seats came round and caught the kids as they were still falling. When they got caught, Mum asked the person controlling the ride to stop the ride.
When the kids came off the ride with hanging seats, Mum ran up and hugged them and told them not to do it again. So they learnt their lesson, and never went on a ride that they were too small for and they lived happily ever after
it was a sweltering sunny Saturday and finnaly Daisy and Steven had finished their homework so know they were going to the fair. With all there homework in the past now they were looking forward to the fair. Steven tells his mum he’ll look after Daisy, it was a sneaky plan by Steven because he did not want Mum to spoil his fun by telling him not to go on the wacky rides. So Mum dropped them of but when they got there it was closing they asked Mr Johnson, there cruel teacher and person at the gate making sure that no one was going in, just to have a go at one ride but he said no!
“But” said Steven
“No buts” inturupted Mr Johnson
“N-O spells No so go away” Mr Johnson said.
“OK” shouted Steven
“But Steven” said Daisy “What are we going to do.”
“Follow me” Steven replied
Steven had a sneaky plan up his sleeve.
“Why don’t we go through the hole in the hedge I’ve worked out where it goes!” Steven said.
“Yipee” Daisy replied
The decided to scamper to the hole and climb through. Their idea worked they saw the hole but it was like a forest between them and the other hole and it was pitch black as well, so it wasn’t easy. They had to make sure that the did not walk on any wildlife. It was a bit of an adventure for Daisy because she never been out without her mum.
Once they got through the hole they had free reign of the hole intire fair.
On one sunny day there were two lovely children a boy and a girl waiting to here who was going to be in the district sports day. The little blond girl is called Lily and the small blond boy is called Jason. They both are very fast runners but Lily has no confidence and that’s not going to help Lily get through. “I don’t think I am going to get in the districts.” moaned Lily. They announced who would be taking part in the districts and only Jason got through, Lily is very upset. ” I knew I could do it!” shouted Jason. Lily walked away sad and a tiny little tear fell down from her face. ” Sorry you didn’t get through to take part in the districts, that’s why you should believe you can do it.” suggested Jason. They announced that somebody has dropped out of the districts so they will need some people to try out again. Lily raced again and got through! ” Jason I got through to the districts!” shouted Lily “Lily the reason you got through is because you had confidence.” said Jason. Lily use to be sad and have no confidence but now SHE HAS CONFIDENCE! The end
It was a lovely, warm Autumn’s day , Jo and Lilly couldn’t wait to go to school for the first time! They played ‘IT’ until the bell rang. They lined up and the teacher introduced herself.
“Hello everyone, I am Miss Kevins!”she announced, in a particularly joyful and friendly manner.
“Hello Miss Kevins !”came the reply. The two who were most confident were, of course, Jo and Lilly, who were the most exited of them all. Miss Kevins led the children into their classroom, which was full of rich red, beautiful blue, gorgeous green, lovely lilac and all the other delicate colours of the rainbow.
First of all, the class had circle time, when they said their name, what they liked, and what kind of personality they had.
Soon the play bell rang and the children surged through the door.
Jo and Lilly were playing ‘Hide And Seek’ , until the jolly bells for end of break rang. Everyone hurried to line up and then , out came Miss Kevins and led them into class. They had a lovely time painting exquisite pictures of kittens.
The lunch bell rang. Jo and Lily were having sandwiches so they went out to play, whilst the pupils having school-dinners had their lunch.
Just as the pair were innocently starting to eat, an older boy suddenly barged through them knocking over Jo’s lunch, which, after flying through the hall, scattered everywhere. Foodless, Jo trudged through the hall, to the exit, were he stopped, turned back, glared at the guy who knocked his food, turned back and padded off.
One bright, beautiful summer’s morning, the great ball of fire rose, dancing merrily on the emerald green leaves. You could hear the whisper of the soft breeze, the joyous birdsong, the humming of the bees and the trill of the blackbirds. Gracefully the paper-white seagulls, glided along in the warm, stifling air, swooping down every now and then to catch a wriggling brown worm. The clusters of blossom on the treetops were like pink confetti and the ruby, sapphire flowers were like piles of precious jewels. Rapidly, cars raced across the road, sparkling in the sunlight, as I leapt out of my cosy bed and gazed out of my window.
I was extremely excited, as today was the day that my sister and I were going to be starting school, but at the same time, I was also a little anxious and nervous. I wondered whether any of my friends from pre-school would be there or would I have to make new friend. What if I was too scared to make new friends?
I took a deep breath and stepped through the school gates, seeing many parents waving good-bye to their children. I looked at my Mum beside me and squeezed her hand tightly, almost willing her never to let go. Then before I knew it, she was wishing me and my sister ‘Good Luck’ and ushering us through the door of our new class. I looked back and saw her disappear into a colossal crowd of other Mums and Dads.
As I stood there in my new class I started to feel even more worried than before as a sea of new faces surrounded me. I felt like sprinting back in the direction of my Mum and rushing back to the security of my familiar home. Suddenly I felt a strange tingle travel up my spine, forcing the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up on end, like porcupine spikes. My eyes started to burn, I felt frightened and realised I was about to cry……
It all began when I was six years old (year 1) in school. We were going to the zoo and my mum said she would come and help out, I was thrilled. My dad took me to school. I was so desperate to know who was in my group but as soon as I stepped in the classroom everyone laughed at me. All of a sudden I felt butterflies in my stomach. I pondered around to think why everyone-laughed including the teachers- but then an awful sight caught my eye. My mum wasn’t coming and I got put in a girl group, I was annoyed and enmity. We had to walk to the zoo with rucksacks which included: food, gloves, and hats. The children in my class were excited except me. I got to feed the Elephants. Without warning a stranger came into the group… it was my mum!! She was in the zoo as well so we went with my mum on the way back home.
One glorious day James and his sister Tasha were getting ready for a bike competition. Their family weren’t that rich so they wanted to get some gold coin for them. Their mother was sometimes petulant because they did not have a lot of money. Tasha whispered to James “I wish we have lots of Money. Their mum exclaimed “there is a bike competition and the winner receives real gold” Tasha and James were astounded. So they pleaded with their mum to let them compete and she agreed.” All right!” they cheered and scream. That was when they started practicing.
The very next day, it was the bike competition. Millions of people gathered for the race, suddenly a boy secretly loosened Tasha‘s and James bike. He had to camouflage to hide himself. On your marks get set go! everyone was zooming through the tracks but Tasha and James weren’t moving at all. “Our bikes are defective”! exclaimed James. As quick as a flash they started to run but they still lost. A boy called Tom won the competition. All of a sudden the audience erupted into applause. What a predicament! thought James. He was extremely perplexed, disappointed and appalled, how could someone be so cruel! James had tears streaming down his face like a gushing flood of water.
It was the day of the school sports day at St Paul’s and everyone was excited, especially Max and Rebecca. It was there first year of doing it but although they were excited, they were also a bit nervous about being on a team with older people. There Mums told them there was nothing to be afraid of and to just have fun. As they were setting up for the first race Max fell over and cut his knee. He cried out in pain and then his Mum dashed towards him and helped him up. He was not allowed to compete which made him upset because it was his first time doing it.
The first race began Rebecca was out in front and was about to cross the finish line when a person on the other team threw a rugby ball and hit Rebecca and sent her hurtling over the finish line and badly injured. She was welling up in tears and although she won she had to go to hospital. After this experience the two of them never did any more sports days. Even when they were in secondary school.
We stared at the fastest water slide ever! Called magnetic . You could slide down the slide with your bottom or you could slide down in a waterproof ,vivid and orange boat. Karen and finally made it only to hear” so sorry kids but you are both 5cm smaller than how high you have to be. We turned away and started to cry puddles of tears built away but the man had no sympathy for us he was just rock solid in the heart. We were devastated and angry with ourselves for being 5cm small.
Surely that was a bit harsh?
One bright, balmy afternoon Angel and her older brother Jake were at their school’s summer fete. They were wandering around the dazzling emerald green football pitch gloomy and downhearted when suddenly it was stage raffle time we ran to the stage hoping we shall at least win one prize .
“And the first prize goes to 351-353” cried out Mrs Jenkins

“And last but not least 755-757” roared Mrs Jenkins for the third time.
It was Zack Jake’s best of all friends
“And you’ve won our grand prize the big brown cuddly bear” said Mrs Jenkins to Zack.
Tear rolled down Jack’s soft cute chubby cheeks.
“It’s ok Jack we can always win next year’s raffle” said his sister trying to make her younger brother cheer up.
The train screeched as it came to a stop. Mez and Jake were on a trip to Paris with their mother. The station was packed with people huffing and puffing and brushing against each other.
“Now children, I want you to sit on the bench over there and wait for me to return,” ordered their mother. The children ignored their mother and as soon as she went they set off to have an adventure.
As they were on their tour around the station, they recalled their mother’s order.
“Oh no! Where are we?” questioned Mez
“I’m scared!” muttered Jake. The children held each other’s hand looking worried.
First day back at school is different for everyone. Many children enjoy returning back to school after the holidays so they cam mess around, have fun with friends and learn interesting things. Other children will hate going back to school because of homework or because they are simply lazy. Some children will be afraid of being bullied or worried that they will not make any friends. Few pupils are shy and can’t express themselves. However the first day back at school starts, school is usually fun.
On Tuesday 9th of August it was the hottest day of the year. Jimmy and Sophie, the unalike twins, were in a fun fair where most of their schoolmates were. As they saw the quickest, scariest and the longest rollercoaster. The twins wanted to go on the Bim! Bam! Boom! (the name of the rollercoaster) with pride and excitement. They queued up in the long queue watching their auntie who was sitting on the bench. They couldn’t wait! As soon as they heard people screaming loudly with excitement they took it the wrong way and fear took up on them. “AAH!” cried the people on the rollercoaster.
“I don’t want to do this anymore, I … I am scared,” Jimmy said. “I feel like I want to go back home. They both started crying. Their aunt was busy texting on her phone. They were crying so loudly that even the death could hear. “If I go will you with me?” Lisa asked. Lisa even concluded her own question stating “let`s try.” When it was there turn to go on the magnificent ride they were still nervous. They conquered their fears and they even wanted to go on the Bim Bam Boom again. “Can we go on the ride again,” they asked. “Of course you can,” replied Aunt Lisa.

The Big Ride
We had waited in the ride for hours. It was the fastest, recorded ride in the whole park. This ride was called the ” Dragon’s Fire “. It went in loops all around the park, twisting and turning. My body tensed with exhilaration. The people on the ride zoomed above our heads, leaving our mouths agape with awe. It was finally our turn, but when the man opened the gates for us to get onto the ride, he said I was too short.
On one sunny morning, there were two children brother and sister. They woke up out of bed and their mum was coming into their room. Their mum was holding something, it looked like a piece of paper but was two tickets to see the children’s favourite sport basketball. Tomorrow morning, the children jumped on their mums bed.
” Mum come on we’re going to miss the match,” shouted the sister in a rush.
Once they got ready they set of for the one and a half hour drive. The brother kept on asking whether they were there and sister did some colouring. Finally they reached their destination so the children jumped out the car in excitement but then their smile turned into a frown because the match was cancelled.
If you liked school trips, you were mad. That was Aercer’s primary and number one rule. He followed it strictly day and night. Although everyone knew he hated them, anly Zefra knew his rule. She followed it too.
If you laugh at someone, you were bonkers. That was Zefra’s primary and number one rule. “Aercer’s just a friend.” she’d say. Everyone laughed at them. “Getting a boyfriend Zefra?” they sneered. Then Alfred ‘NormalName ComputerInHead man.’ joined the class.
“A and Z in love, I see, he said. Then I discovered Aercer’s rule. I liked it and followed it too. But as soon as I started following this oath, school trips seemed to come much more frequently.
Then it came. The Trip of the Year. To Korea.”Why do we go halfway across the world when we can look on Google and get the same view?” Aercer thought. There was no point, was there really? This all crossed his mind as he trudged across the pavement. The least the could do was get a limo to the station, but no. ‘Exercise is what you need’ the head teacher said. “So lugging your lugging your unimagineably heavy backpack is exercise?” he whispered to Zefra. Suddenly he stumbled. Tears filled his eyes.
Zefra had never seen Aercer cry.But when his backpack seemed to be heavier than him,and he tripped, and it was main school trip, well – The tears just came.
let me introduce myself, and my family.
My name is Ruby. I have an older brother and younger brother. My older brother is named Tom. My younger brother is Jack. You will hear much more about those two later in this story.
My mum was at work, and my dad was in bed, ill. Tom said that he would take me and Jack to the fairground, as we had nothing to do. Jack agreed, and so did I, so we made dad a quick lunch and packed a magnificent lunch in Toms backpack. We made some bacon sandwiches, and a fruit salad which was packed with pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and some sliced green apple.
Dad was happy that we were going to be having fun, as he had been upset that we were having to sit around waiting for him to perk up.
Tom was old enough to have and drive his own car, so he said that we could jump in his wonderful sunset orange sports car!
“Just for today.” Tom repeated, as we clicked in our seat belts.
“Tom’s being nice today,” giggled Jack, quietly as to Tom not to hear.
“I hope it will last,” I replied smiling, glad as he was not upset about dad.
We arrived at the gigantic funfair. I looked at Jack, and couldn’t help laughing at his face, that had appeared as I pushed open the leather car door.
We approached a roller coaster that Jack had said he was never going to set foot on. Tom smiled, and before he could open his mouth,
“No Tom.” I had said, pointing at Jack, as his jaw dropped as wide as the opening to a cave.
“Well,” Tom said putting on a wider smile,” I guess I will just have to go on my own.”
“Suit yourself,” I said,”But we’re going to buy candy floss.”
“No you are not.” Tom said.
“What do you mean?” I asked, “You can’t tell us what to do…Oh, you’ve got the money.” I realised.
Before I could say anything else, Tom was at the front of the queue giving a man his ticket. I once again took a peek at Jacks face, and I could tell that he was almost in tears. I put my arm around his skinny waist, and he tucked his head under my chin.
“He’ll be fine,” I said comfortingly, thinking of how horrible Tom had been to his siblings.
The cart went up and up and up. It stopped, then it started, stopped, then started, stopped. The queue fell silent. So did the people in the carts.
One day a brother and sister woke up at 7:35am in their cosy bed with their sleepy eyes, they were excited because they were going to a funfair. They loved funfairs because they had lots of wonderful rides to go on, they loved the merry go round. They have been to lots of funfairs, their previous adventures to funfairs have been wonderful.
They got up to brush their teeth. Then they were called down for breakfast, the boy had frosted flakes, and the girl had golden balls. After their breakfast they went to the fun fair. When they got there, they asked their mum, if they could go to the merry go round. When they got off they noticed that their parents had disappeared, they didn’t know what to do, so they started to worry and panic, they were really scared. They didn’t know what they were supposed to do, then after wondering around they found their parents at the toilets. They were happy that they found their parents, because they didn’t know they what to do without them.
A new school
This was Jacks first day at a new school , he liked his old school but he had just moved and his old school was too far to get to. Jack was starting in year 2 and he felt so so sad. A girl came up to him and Jack thought she looked nice. She was in his class and her name was Mai . She tried to make Jack feel better by telling him that there was nothing to worry about because everyone was nice.
Jack was still worried . What would his teacher be like? Would he fit in with his classmates? Mai said that the work was pretty easy, but sometimes their teacher could be strict.
Jack got into class , and found out that his teacher was called Miss Whitfield. She sat him next to Mai and Mai gave him a big smile. The morning was full of Jack’s favorite lessons. For lunch he had his most favorite meal …..Fish fingers!!! At lunch he ran around the play ground playing with Mai having a great time .
The afternoon lesson was art , Jack loved art. The bell rang and he shouted a loud bye bye to Mai. He ran up to his Mummy and explained about his new day at his new school.
He realised that he really enjoyed his first day and looked forward to tomorrow.
A BAD MORNING
Ellie and her brother Anton were in their last day of summer camp. They were struggling to finish a game and win a prize.
“What?!” cried Ellie.
“It’s impossible to win at this game!” groaned Anton.
“Now, now, now children, don’t be upset”, said the game runner. “I told you to hit the red spaceship, not make the ball rustle past it!”
“But I really wanted to win that beautiful toy unicorn! And I have spent nearly all my money. The rest, I need it for another game and lunch” said Ellie.
“Come on Ellie, we could do something else. Like biscuit making?” said Anton.
But the biscuit lodge was closed by the time the kids arrived there.
“What is going on here? More bad luck!” screamed Ellie in disbelief.
“Now we can’t have any fun!” replied Anton.
“We might as well go and eat lunch,” suggested Ellie. So they walked to the cantina and after a silent lunch, they met their parents at the gate of the camp.
“What’s wrong?” asked Mum.
“We’ve had such a bad morning Mum” replied Ellie. “First, our game did not work properly and then the biscuit lodge closed too early.”
“Not to worry sweethearts, get in the car” answered Mum. And the children climbed into the car.
As they travelled back home, they hoped the rest of the day would be better than that morning.
“Mum where are you? I can’t see you any more” shouted Emily. Emily had never been alone before and she was so scared that she started to cry. Jack came over to Emily and said “what’s the matter Emily?”
Emily replied “I can’t find my mum”
“Mmm, I see, well, now you’re talking about it I can’t find my dad” replied Jack as he started to cry. People walked passed and just ignored them and some walked passed and just laughed.
“It’s not funny!” Emily angrily shouted.
“We’ll ever find them at this rate.” Replied Jack.
It was time to go home and the children still couldn’t find their parents. “I know. Why don’t we tell the staff?” Said Jack to Emily.
“But they’re not here anymore!” Emily replied.
Just then they heard calls from familiar voices. It was their parents. “Jack… Emily?!” Shouted Emily’s mum and Jack’s dad.
“Where were you all this time?” Said Jack, now happily crying.
“Having a cup of tea.” They both responded.
Emily and Jack looked at each other and shrugged. “Oh well, at least we’ve found you.”
“What do you mean you found us? We were right next to you the whole time.” Emily’s mum questioned.
“What?” Emily and Jack started to laugh, and they all went home for dinner
Lou and Emily were really excited. Their parents were, after a lot of prompting, finally taking them to the fair! Hurrying, they stuffed down a slice of toast and scrambled into the car.
Once they had got there, Lou yelled,”I want to go on the teacups!” “Go and see if you can get more tickets. I’ll look after Lou!” Emily suggested to her parents. Since the ride was about to start, they had to run to get on the it. They clambered on and managed to grab a blue teacup. They sat down and pulled the safety bar over their laps. The teacups started to spin, getting faster and faster as the music got louder. But then, suddenly, it stopped. Emily and Lou groped their way out of the teacup feeling sick and extremely dizzy. Lou cried out. Emily spun around to see what was the matter crying “Lou, what’s wrong?” “I can’t see mum and dad!” he sobbed. Emily yelled “You are right Lou! Come on, let’s go to the ticket bar, they might be there.” But they weren’t……
Today, me and Maria, my younger sister, were going to a Fun Fair which (apparently) had the largest rides in the whole world! Supposedly, millions of people were coming from all over the country to enjoy the largest rides they would ever see in their lifetime! How could we miss this amazing opportunity? But would our mum and Dad let us? Hopefully, they would understand how cool the rides would be. So Maria and I went to ask our mum if we could go to this fabulous fun fair. She agreed for us to go, but only if we behaved well. We promised to behave the very best we possibly could.
Maria and I excitedly jumped into our mum’s crimson red sports car. Quickly, mum drove the car to the fair. Arriving at the scene, we saw that hundreds of people were already waiting impatiently for their turn and more attending every single moment! We lined up in the massive queue which looked more like a throng.
The queue moved as slow as a lazy snail, that it took an hour or so until we reached the ticket counter. Mum paid for our tickets and we happily marched inside and headed towards the adventurous roller-coaster ride. We showed our tickets and the lady shouted, “Children, please could you stand next to the height limit to check if you’re tall enough to go on this ride?”
So we stood next to the height measure and both of us were just about three millimetres short of the required height! We were so devastated to hear that we could not only not go on the roller-coaster, but also, on most of the exciting rides which we were so much looking forward to go on.
It was a lovely, warm Autumn’s day, Jo and Lilly couldn’t wait to go to school for the first time! They played ‘IT’ until the bell rang. They lined up and the teacher introduced herself.
“Hello everyone, I am Miss Kevins!” She announced, in a particularly joyful and friendly manner.
“Hello Miss Kevins!” Came the reply.
Jo and Lilly were playing ‘Hide and seek’, until the jolly bells for end of break rang. Everyone hurried to line up and then, out came Miss Kevins and led them into class.
Lilly also felt very angry with this year 6 who had done that, so after lunch she summoned Jo and went off to find Miss Kevins , who was in the staff room and had just finished lunch, they described to her in full detail how the thoughtless ‘bully’ had intentionally barged through Jo. Miss Kevins immediately recognised this description and said that she’d sort it out, but the ‘bully’ just didn’t stop. A few days later, he stopped, strangely and Jo and Lilly could only guess that it was their wonderful teacher, Miss Kevins.
The sobbing faces of Tim and Sarah dragged in attention. Crowds of people gathered round the two lost hearted souls.
“Are you lost, are you lost.” they cried. Not knowing who or where their savior could be always leads to trouble……!
Then who they thought to be a kind man offered to take them to the police. Being young and small their first reaction was a certain yes- locked up- trapped in the back of a van made them feel worse!!!
Tom and Jasmine were in the town centre with their parents, there were lots of people around them. When Tom and Jasmine were in a crowd they lingered back and couldn’t see where their parents were, they really panicked. Lots of people were crowding around and poor Tom and Jasmine were unable to find their parents. The children were very scared, sad and terrified! They looked everywhere but they couldn’t find their parents. They were shouting out ,”Mummy, Daddy!” Tears were pouring out of their eyes, they would never find their parents. The two just couldn’t resist being without them. People stared at them and lots of people really felt sorry for them, a man tried helping them and guided them to the nearby police station where they would be safe.
Their parents had called the police in case someone had taken them away, but the police officer said that everything was fine and that the two children were safe now. Their mum and dad came to the police station and took Tom and Jasmine home where they felt safe and happy. After this mishap their parents remembered to keep their eyes on their beloved children and to be careful when they went out.
It was a sweltering, sunny, Saturday, finally Daisy and Steven had finished all their homework. So now they were going to the fair. Steven tells his mum he’ll look after Daisy, it was a sneaky plan by Steven because he did not want mum to spoil his fun by saying he isn’t allowed to go on any of the wacky rides. So mum dropped them of, but when they got there the where closing. They asked Mr Johnson to go on one ride but he said no.
“But,” said Steven.
“No buts,” inturupted Mr Johnson.
“N-O spells no, go away”! asked Mr Johnson.
“OK” replied Steven.
“Why don’t we go through the hole in the hedge?” said Steven, “I have worked out where it goes!”
They ran to the hole. Steven went through the hole first.
Once they for through the whole, they had free reign of the entire fair.
It was a bright sunny day! Finally it was the day of the carnival , and Reece and Rosie with their joyful dad to the fun of the carnival when a delicious ice cream van pulled up!
“I want an ice cream !” demanded Reece
“Me to !” second Rosie
“Maybe later ,” replied dad ” but only if your as good as gold!
“OK!” beams Rosie
“Lets go have some fun then!” Dad shouts as we all sprint swiftly toward the exciting carnival.when Reece and Rosie reach the carnival they disappear into the crowds of people not even looking behind them to see if their dad is there!when they finally realise that dad is not behind them the head to the fabulous owner of the carnival and ask for his help!So the helpful man speaks into the microphone and tells the crowd that they’re are two kids at the desk saying they have lost their dad.when dad finds them he is extremely mad and makes Rosie and Reece to neither wonder of again!
There were two children called Jack and Jane. They really hate school. Until one special day…
At break Jack and Jane were playing. It was their favourite time of day! Well, and lunch. As soon as the bell went, they walked surprisingly slow to the lines of children and teachers for grammar. Jack and Jane hated grammar as much as they hated porridge! They thought it was made to bore them to death! When they went in for grammar they were more upset than ever! Their teacher Mr Slim (who was very chubby) was replaced by Mr Chubby (who was very slim)! Mr Chubby was a stupid, tiring, and dull teacher, nothing like Mr Slim who was smart, helpful and interesting.
The lesson started with a test on punctuation. As soon as Mr Chubby explained all the children moaned. But not as much as Jack and Jane, they moaned the most in fact they were shouting! Next they did a revision test on what they had already done in grammar but Jack and Jane didn’t listen to anything the teacher said so they has no idea what to do! Jack and Jane were as grumpy as a grizzly bear.
Suddenly, the school’s Headteacher walked in elegantly. She spoke in a very soft voice and wore a plain flowery dress. Everybody suddenly stopped what they were doing and stood up to say, “Good Morning,” except for Jack and Jane. The Headmistress came into tell the class that they were going to have a special day! A special Easter Day! All the children were very excited and happy and were cheering, except for Jack and Jane who sat grumpily in the corner
One day Brad and I were were at school for this amazing and exciting school trip to the beach it was when we went last time we couldn’t wait. Eventually when we got there we went strait to the sea but then… BANG! lightening struck in the dark, gloomy sky we all had to leave the beach but there was too many of us so we had to stay together but then … Suddenly my brother and i were lost we were so petrified being by ourselves we were lost for ages, but we finally managed to fined someone to help us find our teacher and friends we searched for ages, then we heard our teacher shout “Brad” “Maddie,”were are you guys” we shouted “here miss”…” over here” we waved at her for quite a while. Eventually she saw us we thanked the person for helping us and we got back on the coach and went to school for our parents to pick us up when we told our mum she said it sounded like a busy day.It was fun and scary but it was like an adventure.
“Help, help!” they cried. You could feel their heart rate beating rapidly”Ca..can you help me? I’ve lost my Mum,”cried Megan. No one answered, then suddenly “Oi you two!”shouted a man. They fled with trepidation dodging anyone who stood in their way, for as far as their little legs could take them.”Quick hide in here,”shouted Tom. They hid in a little enclosure not far from the festival.”Attention, any missing children report to the help desk immediately thank you.” Tom and Megan made a dash for the desk with the chasing Man behind them. They saw their Mum in the distance”Mummy,”they shouted. As they reached the desk the abusive Man came to a stand still as he watched the kids with their mum; slowly approached the mother and said “You dropped your watch at the bakery,”
“bu…I thought y. Have a nice day,” interrupted the Man
Slowly approaching the crooked, rusted gate Jack and Megan were fleeing with trepidation. You could scent the smell of the sweat pouring from their palms. The wind was gushing rapidly and the trees were dancing continuously. You could hear the screech of the school buses brakes a million miles away.
The pupils of the school came charging straight to the school gate like a herd of elephants charging for the peanuts. Once the crowd had cleared Megan and Jack stopped, looked at their Mum with big bulging eyes flooded with tears and slowly crept in the compound of their new school. They walked along the smooth concrete of the path and like a compass found their way to the playground. The swelling of nerve was a visable mess. Already the other children were laughing like a crowd of clowns. With the school entrance in sight they made a mad dash to the corridor. Inside was crowded with teachers, the fear filled the room. The school was infested with strange echos throughout the school. When the school bell rang the kids pushed and roughly made their way to their classrooms while Megan and Jack hid petrified in a small enclosure under the stairs.
When the crowd had vanished they came out from their hiding spot with tears gushing down their faces. To them this was a prison.
On their way to Tesco, two children John and Jill went walking the road. The summer breeze blew on their contented faces as they approached an attracting colourful sign. The sign read amazing family fun fair from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The children grew with stimulation as they begged their mother to bring them but John and and Jill’s mother replied if they can do their clubs( football for John and ballet for Jill).
John was on his way to football club and he was just a tad late. At the end when the footballers was playing a match, but as John absconded to kick the ball, he had twisted his ankle.
Eventually, it was Jill’s ballet, she danced gracefully but was rushing because of the funfair. Finally, Jill’s half hour class was almost finished but right at the end, Jill had quite a fall and bruised her legs badly.
In that time John and Jill’s mother had tidied the house but at the arrival to the funfair it was 4:00pm
“Happy birthday to you!” Mum shouted from across the landing. “Thank you mum,” I mumbled back in my best -I’m-not-bothered- voice. My 5 year old brother, Harry, was crying because it wasn’t his birthday and he wanted to go to the new theme park to eat candyfloss and popcorn. And of course, he wanted to go the rides. I didn’t know what to do today, so I told mum that I would take him to the theme park, but just when I said that, mum argued, “But darling, do you want to go to the theme park? It is your birthday,” I shrugged my shoulders and stared at mum until she finally gave in. Harry gave a little squeal of excitement when he heard this news, but he frowned when mum said I should take him there by myself. I skipped down the road whilst practically dragged my screaming brother with me. When we got there, he moaned that he wanted to go on the ride that was as tall as the sky and bats were plastered across the silver metallic paint. I hoped I wouldn’t have to go on it, but when I spoke to the ticket man he explained, “ It costs $ 23 for one and you have to ride with him if he wants to go,” I was like, “ Come on Harry, I don’t have enough money and there is no way I am going on that!” I closed my eyes and waited for the howling to start. “NOOOOOOOO!” he wailed and stomped his feet. I tried to get him to be quiet, but he wouldn’t listen to me. I stared at the ground, my mouth hanging open at the humiliation of people watching my like I came out of the sewer. I wish, wish, wish I was at home.

The Best Ride
I had waited 3 hours for this ride. Apparently It was the most prefered and fastest ride in the Theme Park. I felt excited and I was going with my impatient brother; my calm sister and my lovable mum. When we watched the people zoom past over our heads I became thrilled about the whole adventure. The ride went all over the Theme Park. When it was our turn to go on the ride after a 3 hours wait, the man said It has closed.
One day, there was a big video game convention for kids, and a boy called Bob was trying a game called “Super Mario World”, when suddenly a blinding darkness came over him. There was a power cut! Bob said, “I know where the main switch is!” So everybody frightendly followed Bob and it turned out that a 3 year-old had just been sillily messing around with the switch.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHILDREN! One sunny day a brother and Sister Rita and Roshaan went to South Park with their Mum and Dad hoping that they will get some ice cream. As the children got on the amazing colourful apparatus they heard some children bellow “I WANT TO GO ON THIS RIDE AND AFTER I WANT ICE CREAM!!” Rita and Roshaan shout “FFFFFUUUUUNNNNN FFFFFAAAAAIIIIIRRRRR IN THE PPPAAARRRKKK!” They ran towards the rides of their life when they looked around. The children wanted to go on all the rides but also they wanted to go on the best rides. “THE FFFFUUUNNN HHHHHOOOUUUSSSEEE!!!!!!!” The children ran towards the multi coloured fun house in a kids bundle, lots of children had lots of signed cricket bats. Rita and Roshaan barged to the front to see what was going on. It was Sachin Tendulkar giving lots of autographs to children! “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! IT’S MY WORST NIGHTMARE COME TO LLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!” The sad soppy children went back home when they saw a ice cream van, as quick as lightning their frown went upside down into a SMILE they ordered bubble gum ice cream and had a blue tongue for the rest of the day. When they got home with a blue mouth Rita and Roshaan said thank you to their Mum and Dad for making them happy again.

One sunny morning, at a school, year 4 went for a school trip to the Zoo. Their teacher said that they will only be there for 2 hours. Everyone was sad until they went on the coach because there was a mini TV on every seat and some headphones. It took 1 hour to get there but no-one cared.
Everyone loved looking at the Lions, Penguins, Dolphins and lots of others. There was loads of fluffy Tigers and hungry Elephants that they got to feed, but it had been 2 hours before they knew it, so they went back to the coach. Everyone got back in and went back to school very sad.
THE OLYMPIC PARK HERE WE COME!!! I could already tell this was going to be the most exciting day of my life because all my friends in school have been bragging about going to the Olympic Park in Stratford (especially Rodger). I succeeded in persuading my mum in taking my sister – Ellie and I. We had finally reached our destination and obviously, there was a humongous horde. We ignored the crowd and tried to walk through but the people dotted the area as the breeze sprinted around the Park. A big stout strong man barged me by accident and I fell….. my sister helped me and daubed my cut with her tissues. After she had finished we searched for Mum, she was gone…. we were lost……
We sulked and sobbed but that wasn’t helping. Everyone started looking at us so Ellie became embarrassed and said we should stop sobbing (that is what you see in the picture) She said we should rather concentrate on looking for mum. Just then…. I screamed LOOK ELLIE, THAT’S RODGER’S MUM!!!! I caterwauled, making a clamour.
“Oh yeahhhhh!” Ellie agreed.
We ran to her and explained everything to her in full speed she understood very well what had happened, so she phoned our Mum.
While we waited for our Mum to arrive we chatted with Rodger (my friend). All of a sudden our mum came running towards us, she was a very happy bull she hugged us very taut like she hadn’t seen us before. Then, she kissed our heads and whispered
“I love you!” these words meant a lot to us than ever before. She later both us some ice-cream and Rodger had some as well. Mum thanked Rodger’s mum and then we started to go on rides and have an adequate amount of fun whilst we promised never to leave mummy’s hand again.
Today I went on holiday to a theme park with my family (twin sister and parents). When we arrived I was the first one to jump out of the car and run into the hotel. My rile sister chose to sleep on the top bunk because there was a bunk bed in there but it didn’t concern me I didn’t care so much were also doing the 11+ exam so we study for 2hrs but I’m a bit of a nerd so I’m probably the smartest in the family. Milly my sister suggested we should go to the theme park obviously my parents didn’t listen so thank god for that because I was studying but she started to bother them so we had to go.
The Big Day Out
Mum, Dad, Olivia and Gordon are out on the biggest trip of their lives. London Fair. You see, some things Gordon can’t always do, he can get worried and startled quite easily. Gordon had never ever been to Londoner any other colossal city like this. Olivia had always looked out and been there for her beautiful, beloved, little brother. She would always be there no matter what.
So finally the day had come. London Fair was waiting round the corner ready to surprise the kids with it’s magic.
As we reached the fair there were a couple of bangs and crashes that other people were making on the way to the car park but Olivia was there to comfort me as usual, she hugged me and kissed me all over and made sure I was alright. I love my big sister, I really do! She’s my best friend.

One scorching summers day, Jack and Olly were visiting the bustling Aqua Park. Their parents needed to buy the tickets, so Jack and Olly had to wait outside, in the lush forest.
As a minute passed, their parents still weren’t done, because of the quarter of a mile long queue. But suddenly, out of the blue, a black flash appeared! It then was visible that this flash, wasn’t a flash at all, it was a fierce, coal black, dog! It had; sea blue eyes and sharp teeth, glimmering in the sunlight. The beast was growling, as if it was ready to attack.
Suddenly the boys found themselves running as fast as the wind.
Finally, they had outrun the beast, but there was one small problem; THEY WERE LOST!
Thursday 21st March…………
I was playing with my friends in the park .We were playing on the steep slide going straight from gate to the metal climbing frame .We had a ton of fun . Then, it became a boring game .We sat on the benches and we were quiet for some time until one of our – not-happy-to-see-someone-bored/sad – parents came and questioned what was wrong. ’’We’re bored after playing on the slide!’’ we chorused .The parent then suggested we play a game of football .So we did .There were 10 of us, so we all sorted out :1goalkeeper,2defenders and 2 strikers .Our team[Jaguars] scored 3 goals and the other team [Cobras] scored 2 goals .The score, 3:2 ,meant we won! Once we finished, we asked our parents what to do and that we were bored all over again! Our parents thought, hmmmmmmmn………..?
Jack and Ruby went to the same school. They were very close friends and they had common interests. At their school there was a slight problem : bullying. Jack and Ruby hated it when the school bully Ched Dawson came to them and picked on them and annoyed them and sometimes even hurt them. Ched threatened to break them if they ever dared to snitch on him. Everyday, Jack and Ruby sit at the same spot thinking about the day when all the bullying would ever stop- the day, free of torment and fear … the time where we could finally enjoy the peace while listening to the birds singing or enjoy the flowers blooming without any worries …
One day, as James and Jack were sitting near the door of the hospital, their father rushed out
“oh boys how did this happen? “questioned the father
” well ” said Jack , but quickly James began to speak ,
” Dad , mum was driving while we were ” muttered James
” while you were what ? ” said their Dad curiously
” well , we were yelling to mum to mum that we want to go to the store and get a chocolate bar and mum turned around the corner in the wrong lane , so she crashed into another car ” exclaimed James
” but how on earth did she go into the wrong lane ? ” interrupted Jack
” maybe because you where distracting your mother ” shouted their furious , angry , annoyed dad.
” sorry , dad ” said James desperately
” yes we are truly sorry ”
“well , it’s good to know that your are sorry but there no point saying it now ” said the helpless dad who had already made a puddle of tears on the cold concrete
” what do you mean ” gasped James in shock
” what do you mean ! “shouted James desperately
” your mother is no more ” said the the helpless father .That was the day when their whole lives changed.
One beautiful day , when the sun was smiling ,all the lovely children were playing happily outside ,except two shy boys. These lonely boys were 10 years old , and had no kind friends at all .The sad boys are like silent ,dull mice, they never speaked loudly enough for someone to her hem which is as dumb as a panda idea if they want to make friends in this decade . These secretive boys are very good , mighty basketball players , but they have never bravely stepped on the packed court to do even one skill . One lovely the bored boys were silently sitting on the half -broken bench, not even moving their weak muscels suddenly , a tall boy slowly came toward them ‘bop, bop’ ,and asked them politely if they would kindly basketball . The excited boys loved to play basketball happily and had such an a amazing time ,and from that wonderful onward the active boys were the most popular cool kids in their whole school.
On a hot summer’s day, my best friend and I (Rowley) sprang out of bed ; we were so excited, because we were experiencing the all new raucous rollercoaster named ‘DOOM’. Full of zest, we were bouncing up and down, in the long queue, like an energetic kangaroo. In the blink of an eye, the roller cart whizzed past me, like a runner sprinting for the finish line. Eventually, we approached the usher after TWO HOURS! Rowley whispered to me “Do you see that height board?”
“Yes”, I replied
“I do not think we are tall enough”
“Yeah we are, do not fret” .
When we were being checked by the usher, he told us “Sorry boys, you aren’t tall enough, tough luck”. We trembled disappointedly to a set of steps and sat in self pity.
Amanda and James stood anxiously in the playground. They somehow had become lonely and separate from everyone else. They were as still as statues and all the colour was drained from there eyes and was replaced by a dark and gloomy grey. They were becoming more impatient ,desperate and needy of at least being asked if they were okay. But instead they got something much worse. A few moments later,a boy came up to them.He was immense and was surrounded by some other boys, but these weren’t normal boys, they were all mercenary and cruel and had vile eyes. They looked as greedy as a pack of wolves, and Amanda and James were their feast. Amanda and James backed off.One of the boys grabbed James and started swearing at him.James whimpered as the boys jeered at him menacingly. That was the most embarrassing day of their lives!
Ever seen a mum who loves her children so much that she would do anything for them? Well these lucky children have a mother even better than the description.
It was one of those day’s with sun rays dancing about in every creaking corner along with two children that loved their mother as much a she loved them. her one chance to escape and live the life she always wanted to. in total together they had the love of about 5500 people put together. nothing would prepare them for what is about to happen.
The roller coaster crashed! no one died but all were seriously injured.
It was one year ago today, that Josh’s and Mark’s mum passed away. Their heart broke into pieces! They wanted to go see their mother’s grove but unfortunately children under eighteen were not allowed . Their face went from contented to dull. Josh and Mark felt microscopic inside and did not know what to do. They saw all the children in the park playing with their mums and dad. They decided to skip lunch and sit behind the church next to the grove where their beautiful , young and smart mum was buried. ”At least your mum is in a good place” whispered dad.
