There is nothing that we love more than an excuse to talk about reading.   World Book Day gives us the perfect opportunity to share some of our favourite books for each age group.

Whether your child is reading independently or you are reading to them, there are huge benefits of including books in your daily routine.   Expression, creative thinking, vocabulary, sentence construction and imagination are just some of the key skills that can be developed by fostering a love of books.

In a departure from the more classic list of books that we share on our reading lists, here is a selection of books that will be sure to keep even reluctant readers engrossed!
